Ive been using the fields here for a long time, from youth tournament ball to adult slow pitch. The facilities are well maintained and some pretty significant improvements have been made. Years ago, it wasnt uncommon to soak your feet in shallow pools of water in the shallow outfield and corners of the outfield. Nowadays, there might be some damp spots in the shallow outfield behind first and third but the drainage seems to be significantly improved. Theyve recently installed new fences and updated the dugouts of all the fields and have even updated some of the bleachers. Ive also heard that the lights will be getting updated soon which is a blessing for outfielders because theyre currently positioned in places that make it easy to lose line drives in them on almost every field. I remember the umps being pretty solid in their consistency when I played tourney youth ball years ago and I hope the same can still be said today. However, some of the umps Ive had for slow pitch have been awful. Just this past fall season, I had an ump that I thought they pulled out of concession because someone didnt show up until we drew him for another game later in the season. I will say that some of the slow pitch umps are bad but theyre at least bad both ways since theyre not showing any obvious team bias. Overall though, Id recommend playing ball here.

Plenty of parking, plenty of nice fields, lighting from other fields can be tough to deal with at night.

Nice complex. Just dont like walking down to fields 9-10 because of the long trek, and it port-a-potties down there. Main parts of the complex have nice bathrooms and seating, as well as concessions. I dont like that, due to net backstops, you are not allowed to hang GoPro cameras.

Absolute clown show everytime Ive been there. Not enough staff to run bigger tournaments. Games never start on time, and the management is not attentive enough to have umpires on the fields on time, or bring game balls to the field. Wouldnt play there if we didnt have to. Extremely disappointed when we found out we were playing there again.Joke of a complex!

Cool place for baseball games

Ive played softball here for 2 or 3 years and they are a well put together complex. The staff is kind and the umps are fair. Beer is decently cheap and the bathrooms are pretty good. Theyre going through a remodel so it can only get better. I plan on playing softball here until my body deteriorates or I lose a limb.

Everything can be located very easily. The concessions are delicious and not costly. The benches are nice. The land is kept well, and the players are kept even better. Great players come here.

I play in a Baseball Wood Bat League that plays on Sunday evenings at the baseball fields [Royal & Fenway]. I wish they would fix the spots in the outfield as there is dead spots, holes & areas where it dips down in Right, Center and Left. Its really not safe for players and its hard to play the game like how it should be played.The Batters Box could use a overhaul, specifically the right-handed batters side. With the money you pay to play in the league I would definitely like to see the outfield worked on, foul lines and batters box/home plate area worked on. 3rd Base on Field Royal needs work I have seen it pop out of the holder 5 times now from base runners sliding into it, which is a safety hazard.

Used to love playing in the beer leagues for softball

ZERO STARS!!!!! We played there for the first time this weekend. While the fields and the tournament were good. I give a ZERO stars for the fact that they charged $6.00 per person at the gate and no usable restrooms. There were 4 or 5 johnny on the spots. But only 2 that I even attempted to enter. First one was covered in Feces all over the walls the handles everywhere!!! The second one I attempted was just about to the seat full of stuff Just disgusting. Not sure how the facility and the Tournament feel comfortable charging families $6 to get in for that. We had several parents that had to leave their childs game to drive somewhere that had a sanitary restroom.

Always a great time at the ballpark at Mid-America! Fields are maintained well and the concessions are nice. The bar upstairs is a really great feature for between games.

Been playing here for years. Is a little worn but they host some good tournaments. Umpiring is good and fields drain well. They r indeed hard, but good tournaments held here.

This sports complex has been a top attraction for many years. Early 2019 Spring shows the facility fields are in very poor condition likely caused by over use without a proper revitilization or restoration program in place.

Place has dated. Used to be an attraction but its county run now and they really havent brought it into this century. The bar and grill is hardly open any more. Lighting for players at night is atrocious. There do have working scoreboards now. Yay

Not impressed. Fields are poorly maintained. Fields had 2, and in some places 5 inches of fine dust settled on top. It was like playing on a beach. On a wild pitch, it looked like a golf ball landing in a sand trap. Big puff of dust.

Batting cages have been reclaimed by wild life with league expenses considerable. It should be better.

No shade. Nets only cover top of some fields. Boys fields and complex noticeably better than girls complex. Tired of seeing boys sports elevated when girls are bringing in the crowds and money too. Complex needs upgrades. The trains are an absolute pitiful example of how girls fields are regarded. Loud, distracting and annoying to say the least.

Always enjoyed playing at this complex but it needs a little TLC. Landscaping, a new deck, and fix the batting cages. As much as it costs to play at the complex you would think they would make it look nicer.

West come needs to be updated. Fields in rough shape. East complex is newer and very nice.

The fields are kinda far from the parking and the food is overpriced. You also cannot being coolers which leads me to believe that they don’t care about the fans well being. It’s just all about making as much money as possible.

This is a Splendid️ Sports Complex. Fields, concessions, parking, bleachers... everything is clean, well kept, and contributes to a pleasant experience.

Facility has certainly aged and the fields get incredibly dusty. But there is still a great facility here and run well.

Baseball fields need a lot of work. Dragging the infield dirt is NOT all you need to do. Plant grass, then MOW IT! Use clay on the mound to lose the huge hole in front of the rubber and in the landing area.

The layout itself is nice. Its a huge complex with a lot of fields. Is somewhat close to the interstate. The bad. Number 1 is the lights. Id you play at night, prepare the be blinded. Lights are way to low and in a bad spot behind home plate. Sucks if you play in the out field. The fields need work. The infields are gravel basically. Some of the batters boxes need reworked. Need dirt on the fields. The outfields need leveling and holes filled. Think they play soccer on the outfield so that creates divots and such.

Need better lighting but love playing here.

Infield was terribly uneven, outfield was a muddy mess, and I didn’t use it but I was told the men’s restroom was horrible. We didn’t play at night so I can’t speak to the lighting but I don’t want to go back to this complex!
