Having just moved here, we were used to reclining seats and nice clean theaters such as this one. I definitely liked the seats and the newly remodeled theater was very nice. However, I have been to other theaters where Im previously from that are just as nice and offer the same amenities for a much better price. I thought the tickets were priced higher than other theaters in the area and then they tacked on an expensive booking fee per ticket! I would think purchasing your ticket online would be a better option for the theater and should definitely come without charging a booking fee on top of their already slightly higher prices. I would come here again but only on special occasions.

Movies in a relaxing atmosphere. Recliner seats. Very clean and well kept. I reserved our seats online and checking in and picking up the tickets was simple. The staff all were friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Good selection of refreshments and combinations at movie theater prices. Currently all seating is socially distanced and cleaned after each showing. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

What a great theater. Love the recliners. Every Tuesday you can see a movie for $5 which is super cool and they like to play a popular retro movie like E.T. Or Grease. I love to take my kids to those.

My favorite movie theater ever. After doing the renovations some years ago I decided to not even go anywhere else. The seats are incredible and all recline. The cocktails are quite good and you can get giant beers. On top of that premium food is available like burgers, chicken tenders etc and it isn’t the cheap nasty stuff you’d typically find. The rewards program is free to sign up for and is great. Every so often you’ll get a free movie or $5 off or some other kind of discount. Birthdays there is always a discount. This is a family owned business that has been around for decades and decades so another great reason to support them. The service is friendly and speedy, couldn’t ask for a better all around experience. I now live in Parkville Missouri and still travel 25 mins to go to my favorite theater!

I used to frequent this theatre growing up. Ive now seen several movies so far at this B&B acquired property. I think hands down they have the best seats of any theatre Ive ever been to. It reminded me of a sleep number bed without a doubt. Luckily the theaters clear sound and amazing picture quality did not remind me of sleeping! The staff had always been friendly. Clean restrooms and updated interior as well. Seriously the adjustable seats are worth every second. Thank you for refurbishing a great theatre!

Support these guys i wont ever go back to an AMC Theater, B&B do such good things for the community to help others and they have chairs that are practically love seats how could you possibly go anywhere else.

Me and my wife went here last night for date night, what an amazing place, we look forward to our next visit. We were very impressed with the self-service soda machine and the self-service butter dispenser, what a clever idea this not only speeds up your wait time in lines but it gives you control of the desired amount of butter that you want on your popcorn. Ive been going here since I was in diapers. Yes, I am still in diapers but thats beside the point. The tickets were cheap and the concessions had enough options. Theres plenty of parking, but the building and the lot could definitely use some tender love and care. Otherwise, the staff was very nice.

Beautiful environment and clean atmosphere. The Screen Play area for kids is one of a kind, an auditorium with playground and slide located next to seating. Check out their website for best details. Also for adults alcoholic beverages are available as well as the usual theater fair.

My favorite theater. I dont go to the movies very often, but when I do this is where I go. Plenty of parking, easy to get to, clean theater, and rarely has big crowds. I am also sold on the recliner seating. Never going back to normal seats again! They have 18 theaters and a great selection of movies and show times. They say they are family owned and I think that makes a big difference from the corporate behemoths with filthy theaters and unprofessional employees. The staff here seems well trained and have great customer service skills.

Awesome slide and play place inside theater, its called screen play. You arrive 30 minutes before your movie starts and children are allowed to play for thirty minutes. My daughter loved it. And they also play awesome songs while kids play.

The theater was great, small theater but the views are all great seats and the seats comfort wise was a dream chair. Loved it and would love to return.

Awesome Fan Event for It Chapter 2! We also like to get the MDX4 seats which are really cool and an amazing way to experience a movie. We do not go to the movies that often, we normally stay home and watch them HOWEVER when we do go out we like to treat ourselves and go to B&B! I like their selections, prices and the popcorn is really good too.

We definitely enjoy going to this theater. Its not usually too busy, the seats are super nice. Only thing that could be better is the popcorn.

Movie and sound were great, temperature was a bit low. Im not usually one to get chilled, but i watched the movie with my hands inside the jacket i never took off. Wife was pretty uncomfortable, theatre 17 on 12/26.

The new B&B renovations have truly impressed me. They are now much better than any other option in KC.

My wife and I bought 4 tickets to take our kids to a play. The morning of the play it was snowing bad. We decided to get a refund and since we couldn’t drive there we sent emails and messages to social media with no luck. Emails a comments were never answered.So B&B took our $87 and want even explain to us why they stole our money. Merry Christmas from B&B. Thanks for taking money away from my kids Christmas.

This is the closest theater to my house and I consider myself lucky! It is clean and they have a rewards program! I also buy my tickets ahead of time with Fandango which I can link my B&B rewards number to in order to piggyback my rewards. I cant claim that trick as my friend showed me!

My first visit and I was very impressed - one of the nicest movie theaters in the KC area. They have several different theater types. I bought our tickets and chose our seats online ahead of time. Scanned the QR code on my phone at the ticket kiosk inside the entrance and printed out my tickets. Couldnt have been easier. Very comfortable and spacious recliner seats that you can control with a rocker switch on the inside of the seat. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Inside the theater and the restrooms were immaculately clean. Great selection of drinks (Pepsi products, no Coke) and snacks. Popcorn was cruise and delicious. Prices are ok. Well be back!

Theater was great!!! Love the reclining seats. But Star Wars was horrible. I fell asleep and then left before it was even half thru. Disappointed.

I go to a movie every week. If I’m ill, on vacation, no exception lol I see movies EVERY WEEK. I have not been to this location in a number of years but I don’t remember being impressed enough to return. I was totally impressed with this experience though. Remodeled theater, everything was clean! Bathroom was clean, foyer was clean seats clean, concessions clean, wonderful place to see a movie!

This is my favorite theater in the Johnson County area. Excellent seating, easy access and the sound is excellent. I like the drink options that include beer.

Great to go on a Tuesday when you signed up for back stage pass tickets are only $5 a person and u get a free popcorn.

B&B Shawnee is definitely our top pick When it comes to movie theaters. We love how clean it always is and the staff is always friendly. The food is always made fresh and we can not forget how comfortable and spacious the reclining seats are. Our 5 year old loves the screen play which allows her to play and meet new friends before the movie begins. We are backstage loyalty members which gives us points every time we purchase tickets/food and for every 100 pets you get $5. They also give us coupons to use towards different purchases...and it’s FREE to sign up.

We almost always choose this theater over any AMC. Its not usually over crowded and the concession lines are fairly quick. The reclining seats are very comfortable and recline pretty far back. We like the smaller theater size for the not as popular showings. The theaters arent dirty and gross, it seems like they do a decent job of keeping up with the masses. Overall we enjoy our experiences here.

Comfortable seating. Just make sure if you order popcorn that its fresh. We ordered a bag and a tub which was very costly but was dry and old tasting. Probably leftover from night beforeThrew 3/4 of it away.

Since remodeled...fantastic recliner seats, wide rows to easily get up during show and not ask every to move their knees in so you can get out, and great screens. Much better than AMC 28 in Olathe which needs updating comparably.

Its a good B&B. Not quite all the modern amenities of AMC (its main competitor) but still very good. Recently tried the 4D experience for Avengers: End Game. It was worth the extra money. I probably wont do it for anything but the big blockbusters, but it was pretty cool.

B&B had changed movie watching for me. Every theater has great seating with recliners. 4DX is cool! We dont even bother with other theaters anymore, unless were in the mood for the drive-in.

Its a good theater. I love the recliner chairs. Snacks are pretty much standard, though they do cook burgers and other food.

To be fair to The Establishment, I will have to visit it when its busy. This visit was on a Tuesday night, which is particularly quiet. I got my ticket and popcorn with in a minute, got seated and enjoyed a great show. Very comfortable. The seats in the theater Ive been changed to recliners. Very spacious, and comfortable!There is a kid area to play before the movie starts, so I would recommend this to families and couples! Enjoy!

This is a great theater. So many options, lower cost than the competition for equivalent shows. All the amenities you expect at a top theater today plus they have a kids theater which is the first I have seen in the area. Great job B&B.

Went with my fiance to a 4D movie and had a squeaky chair throughout the movie. They reimbursed us with a free movie up to 4D through 2020! Completely gave me renewed faith!

Usually this is our go to theater. But their air conditioning isnt working right.The theater was about 80 degrees and humid, I notified staff in the front and he said he would check it. I felt a puff of cool air but it never caught up before the movie was over. We might try them again this winter.

Its a regional company, which is nice. Our local theater is close, the recliners are comfy and the ticket prices are competitive. I like that they have offerings for those with sensory issues like ASD and a special theater for kids with a play area and play time before the movie.

The 4D experience was fun for Star Wars... but the sound system is Theater 10 is trash. No low end at all! Very disappointed when the Star Wars scroll starts and the opening music score falls flat!

B&B theatres Shawnee 18 is one of my favorite theaters in the Kansas City area. Very comfortable reclining seats and delicious food. They also have this very cool 4D theatre which is so fun. If you want to feel immersed in the movie I would definitely recommend watching it in 4D! If you want to be comfy and watch a good movie at the theatre, B&B Theatres Shawnee 18 is the best place to go!

The newly remodeled theater has much to offer for all different kinds of movie fans. My daughters love the kids play area where they can run around prior to the movie and burn off extra energy. The seats are super comfortable and the facilities are nice and clean.

I originally gave this theater a lower rating because Ive had movies completely fail and the reticketing process was terrible but the last few times theyve done a great job, offered great amenities like better seats than other name brand theaters and interesting environments like 4D. Im giving them a star back and they may even earn all 5 from me if they dont have any more technical issues.

One of the best movie theaters Ive ever been to! Love the old timey feel and atmosphere externally and internally. Staff was quick and friendly. Inside was clean and well-maintained - the actual theater was amazing, especially with their large screen that was a few stories wide and tall. The seats were extremely comfortable and leaned back as well - simply amazing!
