Good food and pool challenging golf course and nice people who work there

Not very friendly GM, We were approached on the 16 th hole and ask for our names and receipts, seemed kind of like we were singled out. He went on to say that people were taking carts and playing for free.. he never stopped the group in front or behind us, he drove by us slowly on 18 and starred once again . Reminds of of a good old boys club .if hour not a member your treated differently. I will not play there again for that reason and it is overpriced also. The 19 th hole was the only place we were treated like normal humans.

A course with a LOT of potential, but poorly maintained. There are 27 holes and it looks like those extra 9 holes are keeping the crew from properly maintaining the first 18. You can expect to hit off 3-4 different grasses in the fairway, and 8-10 surfaces in the rough when you factor all the hard pan dirt and weed lies youll be hitting from.Some architect obviously spent a lot of time and effort utilizing all the natural tree lines and water around the course, only to have a for-profit management company come in and choke the life out of the course. The hole layouts are very challenging and fun, but the bigger challenge is finding a decent lie to hit from, or smooth grass to putt across on the green.I would have probably given this course one more star if the price was reasonable for what you get. For $75 on the weekend, youll get a $25 golfing experience. There are too many great courses in the area that charge a lot less and maintain their course a lot better.If this course were well taken care of, it could easily be one of the top 5 courses in the Kansas City metro. As it sits, its one of the worst 5 values.

Course is in horrible shape. There is drainage pipes sticking out of the ground. tee boxes are so uneven you cant get a flat stance. A few of the tee boxes have busted sprinklers on them and are pools of water. The rough is horrible. Just bad golf course all around. Went to try and talk to the head pro (he was out golfing) so I asked another guy about them and he said I need to talk to superintendent. This place is rough.

Nice track. Elevation change. Some tough holes. Slow play at times.

Actually has really good grill for at the golf course.

Very challenging course, especially if you cant hit the ball straight.
