This post is for the Heritage Village Halloween event. They did an EXCELLENT job making everything safe AND fun! Actually, we felt this worked better than how the event usually runs. Well worth the low cost. Please be polite with your host. They just want you to have a good time!

The cool, shady Gorge trail was a wonderful respite, while I waited for my friend to complete her consultation and exam over at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. (Because they dilated her eyes, she needed a driver--me!-- to get her safely home to Kentucky. But, no one is allowed into the waiting room, other than patients. I had to find somewhere else to go, for the 3+ hours involved.)The lady at the gatehouse was gracious and welcoming. I will recommend this place to others.

I really love this park! Very clean and family friendly. Cant go wrong with getting the annual pass either. Peaceful and relaxing setting. My kiddos are really enjoying themselves.

Plenty of walking trails, both paved and natural. A great lake with paddle boats, fishing, and a paved trail around it. Two outdoor kid play areas and one indoor one (closed at the moment - June 2020). It even has a par course for those inclined to exersize.When things open back up, Id like to go back to the historic village behind the rangers station.

Beautiful place to unwind and just to enjoy nature

Beautiful and serene. I also liked that it was not crowded, even on a Sunday. Totally worth the $10 yearly admission. Otherwise you pay $5 for the day.

Beautiful park but a lot of the staff is ambivalent. As a result, my handicapped brother and myself often find it difficult to handle rentals as they will often leave you at your own devices as long as possible.

Love this place, seeing a lot more people visiting since Covid19, but please don’t trash this beautiful place. There are garbage cans everywhere

10$ for a pass (circa Aug 2020). Typically not super crowded. A great way to pacify the kids!

Sharonwoods is a beautiful and clean public park. Its my families favorite place to be.

We had no clue about this place! We were in town for winterfest at Kings island and stopped at the fossil park the next day. We saw this and decided to go for a walk. At first we were a little annoyed that it cost money to get in since we are from an area with a ton of free parks. But in the end it was worth it. We went on a nice walk and then stayed for santa pictures and the Christmas lights. It was so efficiently ran. The santa Claus was so legit, a Christmas miracle happened, I jumped into the picture as well! We had such a nice time. Actually better than at Kings island!

We love this park and the many trails and beautiful scenery it offers.

Good atmosphere and great encounters. Good for Pokemon Go, too.

Enjoy going to see the lights than going into the center. They have a nice gift shop. The train display is enjoyable.

Was allowed into the park free at first but was then asked to pay $5 upon re-entry. Not sure where the park rangers were because as I was walking through the parking lot, there was a gentleman urinating between a couple cars...

The kids love the indoor play area! But it needs a good cleaning. Its very dusty.

Love sharon woods its a great park. Great for picnics great trails great play ground areas. Love the nature views here they have multiple water falls and creeks beautiful place to be.

This is a beautiful facility.

I like to go and have a me time and when I have a day off I take my son to play there

Lots of things to do for the whole family. My kids always love coming here. BBQ grills, water, different play areas, picnic tables, and the nature center.

The park is ok, rented a shelter. Nothing special.

Always love to come here and run but I always seem to get twisted on the trail. I know Im not the only one because I have been stopped before from other runners looking to see if they were running in the right direction. Overall, the views and sunsets here are gorgeous.

Im not going to lie, I couldnt find the trails. First time, wanted to walk/ enjoy nature.. you know? Yogi & Boo Boo. Ppl sat there watching us like we were alien or something.

Ive always loved Sharon Woods. It is a beautiful, well kept park with so much to see, learn and do. Many wonderful memories have been made in that place!

Great place to walk. They also have a small water place for children to play in warm weather.

Nice maps along paths, friendly staff. Shaded paved trails.Trails would be very bumpy on a bike though, due to many cracks. I didnt see any drinking fountains either.

Really nice, safe park in Cincinnati area.

I live in Indianapolis, and I come here often. Its huge, lots of fun, and there is a long beautiful trail around a lake for walking too.

I live very close to Sharon Woods. Its always been a destination spot for walking my dogs or taking my grandson to play.

Beautiful park, the first public park established in the Hamilton County system. Great for just a drive-thru, but also has hiking trails, areas to have a picnic, a lovely lake with fishing available, and accommodations for private parties.
