Great place. Too noisy though! Why do they have to have speakers with super loud music everywhere? Annoying. Otherwise great place for kids of all ages. Water park is nice too. 2 splash pad areas, 0 depth wave pool, lazy river.

Great place for kids of all ages! My 2 year old daughter loves the kiddie splash zones. Clean and well staffed with plenty of lifeguards. The bigger rides are a lot of fun for kids and adults too with lines that dont take too long.

Its a nice waterpark but they do not enforce any of their rules. Especially for young children. Kids wearing just underwear and/or street clothes and running and shoving kids with no repercussions. Otherwise its fun and the kids enjoy it.

Great slides, absolutely worth the price, but beware the extra (optional) charges.General admission to the water park comes with your ticket. There are a few optional charges you should be aware of first.Renting a locker costs $15, $20 or $30 depending on size. You get it until 7 PM when the water park closes.Note that the rest of the park closes at 9 PM, so you need to grab your stuff two hours BEFORE the main park closes. Lockers are cleared out at 7 and their items are put in customer services. You can get them back, but its probably a headache. It costs $5 to rent an inner tube for the wave pool. The inner tubes for the lazy river and all water slides are free. You can also use the wave pool without a tube, but its not as fun.Towels also cost extra, but I dont know how much they are since we brought our own. This all means that the water park is free with your ticket IF:-You bring your own towl-You dont rent an inner tube-You dont rent a locker and store stuff in your carOh, and the prices for food and drink are pretty high. Maybe use the water fountain.

Great place on a warm day. Wouldve loved a few slides options for younger kids, mainly 5-6 yr olds who are not tall enough for the regular slides at the park.

My son nearly drowned today at the wave pool and no one noticed. There were 9 lifeguards on duty, and not one of them saw him go under or heard him yelling for help. It was a very slow day because it had just rained so there were maybe 20 people in the pool. My son is 8 years old and can swim, but he panicked because the waves were pulling him out and under. I was watching him like a hawk from one of the beach chairs, and when I saw him go under, I ran as fast as I could...yelling someone help him, and tripping and falling on my way to rescue him. Even then, no one noticed....the lifeguards all turn their heads continuously like they are watching what’s going on, but what they are doing isn’t working. Thank God I saw my little guy drowning...if you have kids, even if they can swim, watch them carefully! Wave pools can be very dangerous!!! When a child is playing at a comfortable depth, once the waves start, what was once safe can be over their heads or pull them into deeper waters. Even swimmers can panic and drown...at bedtime tonight my little guy said with tears in his eyes “Mom, I’m surprised I’m alive.”

Valleyfair! is a very underatted park in the Cedar Fair chain. They may not have the amount of things to do such as a Cedar Point or a Carowinds but what they do have is absolutely awsome. Wild Thing is a great airtime filled hyper coaster. Renegade is one of the best wooden coasters in the world there are a ton of high quality thrill rides and some tamer attractions for families. On top of that there is a good variety of food, some friendly staff and the park is overall very well kept and clean. The water park has a bunch of janky intense water slides as well for the teens that are sure to make you laugh if you survive them. You can tell management really cares about the place to. If you are in this part of the country stop by. It will be worth your time!

Great place for kids and adults alike! Its got all kinds of slides, family slides, body slides, drop slides, and more. Its also got a water playground for little ones and a wave pool for people of all ages. Its got plenty of chairs that recline for tans and relaxing in general, it also doubles as a great place for parents that dont swim. My only gripe is that the male locker room is kinda gross, cant speak for the female one though. Overall great place for people of all ages.

Fun slides, but lines are extremely long. We went on a weekday so I imagine its worse on the weekends. Also, they have this weird life jacket rule for the lazy river (which has only 3 ft deep water) for kids under 4 feet tall. So if you have a very short 7-year-old swimmer who is appalled and insulted at the idea of wearing a life jacket because well she already worked hard to learn how to swim and earn the life-jacket-free-swimming-privilege, maybe wait a few more years until shes taller to come here. Why wouldnt they have a more inclusive rule for a 3 ft deep lazy river like: 42 inches and up can ride with an adult present? Or how about believe the adult when they say she can swim just fine plus Ill be with her the whole time. Its not like we would purposely put our kid in a dangerous situation.

Loved the water! Great for those 90 degree days when you just want to lay in the water and keep cool. Plenty of variety to satisfy everyone. There is lots to do here so bring your bathing suit and towel when you visit Valley Fair cuz its all worth the trip.

We planned our entire day around going to the waterpark at the end of our trip. To our surprise, the waterpark closed 2 hours before Google said it did. There were several different groups that came in at the same time believing it was open longer as well. The inconsistency in hours is beyond frustrating. Not very thrilled with having to watch the disappointment in 4 kids faces when they found out that they couldnt swim.

Soak City itself is great. However, the only place to get food couldnt accommodate 3 different orders of hotdog baskets at once. Waited 20 minutes and asked what the problem was...they ran out. At lunch time on a slow day. Its time for a hotdog roller machine Valleyfair...
