Stonebrooke Golf Club

Great place to go golfing. Hole 8 is awesome cause you get to take a pontoon ride across the lake during finishing the hole. Its something you must do. Great time. Also, food and drinks are also a plus there.

Great public course. The grounds were very well taken care of. Every person working there (that I had an encounter with) was extremely nice - much more so than most public courses. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely make a pit stop at this course for another great 18 holes. Thanks guys!

Great course. The fairways make approach shots fun and difficult at the same time. Greens are tough to read but if you can manage speed, you will get out in one or two putts. The ferry ride makes it all the better of a course. Nothing like teeing off over a huge lake with a bunker just calling your name.I will be back to play this course.

Early morning round after a lot of rain. They had the course is great condition. Scenic with challenging shots and lots of drives that have to carry water. Obviously the ferry ride was awesome. Definitely worth the trip to Shakopee.

Wow on Nov. 21st. Can only imagine and wait till next season to see how good this place looks in the summer months.

This course has always been one of my favorites. Well kept, challenging, and the boat is a cool feature. Good food and staff too.

I loved the golf course. Tons of character. Not overly long but there are a number of long carries over water.The greens are big and fast. The course is very well cared-for.It is on the expensive side. (Super-Twilight rate $48.50 plus tax). And I hate when courses don’t allow you to take a cart out to the parking lot.

What a fantastic golf club! Experience from arrival to departure was too notch. Great views and you even get a pontoon ride on #8! White tees are fun and the blues are a true challenge. This course is nice enough. The staff are friendly. It is tight though. You constantly feel like you have people around you no matter where you are on the course. For as expensive as it is, I didn’t expect them to make me pair up with another group for 4 hours of awkward golf but that’s exactly what I got. It was okay at best. I’d almost rather play a cheaper course that is a little more laid back.

Really like this place! Good variety, of holes and layouts. Challenging but not frustratingly tough. Well maintained. Better than Deer Run!

Awesome experience riding the pontoon across the lake to the fairway on #8! The course is really beautiful and has a lot of different layouts of the holes. Pretty good condition and very green! Big greens with some big level changes on a couple greens. The practice area is nice. The clubhouse is nice and clean with good service. I didnt have any food but the beverage cart was around the course all day! Also is a PCC course! Thank you Stonebrooke!

We had our wedding here 7.25.20 and Deb and her team were absolutely amazing to work with!! So many unknowns with COVID and they made planning our wedding as stress free as possible during these difficult times. Our day went off without a hitch, the staff was so accommodating and even with it down pouring less than 15 minutes before our ceremony, then clearing up immediately after, they shuffled around to move it from outdoor to indoor back to outdoor a couple of times in just a few minutes so we were able to get married by the waterfall after all like we wanted. Food was FANTASTIC!! Excellent experience all around and the back drops allowed for some amazing pictures! :) all of the staff were so helpful and wonderful!

Beautiful course! The ferry on hole 8 is pretty unique and makes the experience fun! Greens are tricky but in good shape. Overall a fun track to play.

This is a wonderful course and it is in excellent condition. Sr rates are available and that is very beneficial. Recently I took my wife to dinner there where we dined near the 10 hole Tee box and thoroughly enjoyed thefood, service and ambiance.I hope continue golfing here 2 times per week, John

Golf course is absolutely beautiful! Although it is a bit of a drive, I will be coming back. By far the coolest course! Never have I seen a course where you hit over a portion of a lake and then get on a pontoon to go continue the hole! In addition to this the employees are by far the nicest people you will ever into! Highly recommend this place and can’t say enough about how good this place is! You’d be wrong to miss out on a place like this

Challenging but fun course, we all had a good time. Greens were in great shape, played through about 2 weeks ago.

Course is in great shape. Greens were in great shape also. Pace of play was good. We played in just under 4 hours. Employees were all very friendly.

Great course with nice elevation changes and beautiful views on every hole.I play this course about once a year. Staff is always friendly and make you feel they really appreciate your business. After a tough winter course is in good shape, just a few bad fairway spots in the low lying areas.

I’ve been wanting to play Stonebrooke for a while now and finally did this week. I tend to be a little apprehensive about courses where their reviews and pictures tend to be geared towards weddings and events. Stonebrooke is definitely putting into the course, I was really impressed! Well worth the short drive from MPLS and I’ve already booked another round this week. Phenomenal course!

Oh My, Stonebrooke is a hidden jewel right in my backyard. They have an incredible menu and Happy Hour every day. They also have a Sunday Brunch for $10.95 per person that is one of the best Brunchs Ive ever had. Its worth $25 or more per person. I Highly recommend Stonebrooke Golf Clubs restaurant. Its a great place to take your family for a Holiday night out. Cheers!

My favorite golf course! My wife and I have played it 20 times this year. The course is challenging, very well kept and beautiful, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Course was in great condition even after receiving almost 2 of rain the day before.

Poor covid19 practices.Beautiful place, great food and lovely people! However, our server was wearing a mask, under her nose, off and on. When she was wearing the mask, she would touch it and mess with it right under her nose. The woman who brought is our food, very nice lady, was not wearing a mask and spoke closely to us over our food. I felt uncomfortable and at risk of being exposed.The server also messed up twice in our order.

Played here for the first time with the PCC about 2 weeks ago. Beautiful course that is in very good condition, and tough greens that make the round challenging. Will be back again.

Great experience at Stonebrooke GC today (even though ferry was not running on 8). The course is in immaculate condition - greens hold good shots and run true. Course mgmt is key here so be sure to play for position. Ill be back w/o a doubt.

Played Stonebrooke with a few buddies today and absolutely loved the experience. The course was in impeccable shape and, although my score was LARGE, there wasn’t a moment where I didn’t have fun. The starter was so friendly and kind and the patio after was such a nice space to enjoy a cocktail. It’s not a cheap course but you definitely get what you pay for here. I can’t wait to come back (and take back thirty or so strokes).

Very unique course. Definitely a course you need to play at least once if you live in the twin cities area. Beautiful layout and challenging holes. Driving over a lake is always fun, haha. Nice and professional staff. PCC friendly.

One of my favorite golf courses in the Twin Cities metro area. Always in great shape and fun layout with wide variety of holes. Food in the restaurant is amazing. Also a great place to host events. The Waters Edge driving range & 9 hole course across the street is also a great place to practice and get in a quick round.

This place is a delight! I have never played golf here, but have eaten here many times. I joined a bean bag there last winter, and boy was it fun! The bartenders always remembered us and our drinks and were so nice! The people we met through that were great and they were very well organized. The food was pretty great as well! They patio is beautiful and a fun spot to have lunch when the weather is nice!

Played many high school tournaments here! This course is always a good time! If you dont hit the ball straight off the tee then you might be struggling. Oh and you cant forget the fairy ride on the short par 4!

Drove 30 minutes to play here and ended up wasting my time and not getting to play at all, because “they don’t take cash” You would think they would make you pay when you book online if that’s the case but apparently not.

First time playing Stonebrooke last week. It was awesome. The course is in amazing shape and every hole is different. Can challenge both beginners and more experienced players. Even cooler you get to ride a ferry crossing a lake on one of the holes! Highly recommend.

Very friendly staff!I really like the variety of holes on this course. No two holes are alike. You need to give every tee shot some thought. It is definitely not just a bombers course, but there are opportunities to bomb it! The greens roll a lot, but roll true. There are a couple of greens that haven’t fully recovered from the winter yet.I strongly encourage a round or two at this course!

I played Stonebrooke golf course on Thursday, August 8 and the course was in excellent shape. I was also impressed with how the staff went out of their way to make sure my group had a positive experience at the course. I will definitely be back!

I have been hitting the ball into all the water at Einars Stonebrooke Golf Club for many years, 15 I think Love this Place and its people!!

Stonebrooke is one of my favorite courses in the Twin Cities. The water holes on 7 and 8 are two of the most scenic youll find anywhere. Just a fun mix of holes all around with a couple driveable par 4s, some interesting par 5s and good use of the terrain. Love the waterfall by the putting green. Also, they have a great Fathers Day brunch. Go play here!

I can wait to play this course again and especially putt on their amazing greens. Very well maintained facility. Full driving range and putting green. Has great character design of the course. My favorite is the boat ride across the water! Very friendly staff.

This course is really cool. Name another course where you have to take a boat ride from the tee to the fairway? That alone makes it worth the experience. They keep the course in really good shape and it keeps pace of play. Definitely recommend you play this at least once a summer.

Love love love this course. A golfer gets to use every club in their bag. The ride across the lake on the par 4 is a unique experience. I will be back in future !! This is definitely a top ten course in the twin cities.

The course was really great and allowed for players to approach holes a number of different ways. The only thing that was really ridiculous was the Pin placement on the 18th hole on 8/31/19. It was honestly ridiculous and that should be noted. This isnt the US Open so dont put the pin where if youre short going uphill it runs all the way back to you or if you miss downhill with the slightest nudge of the ball it runs 10 feet past. Otherwise everything else was fantastic!

The staff at Stonebrooke far exceeded my expectations. Even one of the maintenance crew helped me find my terrible tee shot in the deep grass, he went out of his way to not run over it, waited for me to get to it and pointed it out. Also, the greens were in great shape, I’ve played about 15 rounds this year and so far only Edina Country Clubs greens were nicer. Kudos to the Stonebrooke team for a great round, I’ll be back for sure!

Played for the 1st time this spring because of the PCC program and WOW. Wish I would have found this place sooner. Fun course, super friendly staff and stayed for seafood buffet on a Friday evening which was also 5 star. Raving fan of this place

Absolutely loved playing Stonebrooke. Several unique holes and the boat ride is fun. The club house is beautiful and the food is amazing. Ill be visiting more often and not just for golf.

I enjoy playing here when I get a chance, I love the layout and the course is always in great shape. If you have time, make sure you grab a burger and fries after the round, the food is very good!

Great course! The staff is very friendly and courteous. The course is in great shape. The greens are fast but, they roll true, I can tell the grounds crew knows what they are doing! The beverage cart was around every three holes or so for those of us who like to indulge a bit. Will play there again soon!

I like the golf hole with the boat, all the water on the golf course. Can play all kinds of different golf shots. Also a great place to have a wedding.

It was the first round of the year. Course was in pretty good shape being that it’s sooo early in the season. Golf carts were available which not a lot of courses offer yet. Looking forward to going back when the weather is warmer.

The pontoon that took our golf cart across of the lake was unique and the driver was friendly.

Water in the sand traps. Rude groundskeeper. Fairways not in good shape. My wife and I are seniors, we walked 18 holes, and they charged us over $80. Way over priced. Will not return, there are many better options at much better rates.

Round took 5.25 hours. Course is nice, staff is greedy. They admitted to allowing members to play again and messed up the whole flow. Save your money and go to Troy Brune or someone else nearby

I have had a players card for the past 2 years. Since day one it has had horrible customer service. Th ed y over charge on everything there. Feels like the rangers are always following you. The range has been in horrible shape since i started playing here in 2014. They have made little effort to improve it. They treat there loyal customers very badly. I know that i will not be getting another player card next year. I had to get a refund this year because the way they treated me. All in all there is a lot of better courses around the area that are much more worth it than stonebrooke.

Course conditions are great for this early in the year. Greens are rolling good and fairways have come in nice.

Great people, Great course, great value!

Course is pretty unique and fun especially if its your first time there. Can get a bit beat up from time to time but it has very heavy usage during peak seasons. As far as the restaurant the food is great and they have e a decent beer selection. It isnt the cheapest place but the food is worth it. The patio is also pretty nice when the weather cooperates.

Stonebrooke is an incredible course in the South Metro. Thankful for the PCC having such quality courses that provide a country club type experience. First time I played there we were treated incredibly and stayed for the amazing All You Can Eat Seafood Buffett with the guys. It was so good had to take the family back for the Buffett. Can’t wait to go back and play this course again. This a great example of how being part of PCC is exposing me to fantastic golf courses in Minnesota. Looking forward to my return to play Stonebrooke, this is a course you don’t want to miss!!!

I really like Stonebrooke Golf Club, it is a challenging course but very nice to play. The course is always kept very nice, it is well maintained. Not only do I love the course, but the menu is great at the restaurant. I really like the restaurant, the burgers and fries are very good. I always have a nice time when I play at Stonebrooke.

Stonebrooke Golf Club has always been a great facility to host luncheon and dinner recognitions and celebrations. The Shakopee School District has done this on numerous occasions. We couldnt be happier with their great customer service, attention to detail, and great food.And, the golfing experience has always been a great, challenging one. The course is kept in immaculate shape with great rewards for your shot-making abilities.

The overall impression that I had of Stonebrooke Golf Clubs restaurant and lounge area was very excellent. They have a great selection of food and beverage cart. All in all, I enjoy going to Stonebrooke very much and plan to go here for years to come.

The bar and restaurant staff have been exceptional. The food is top notch and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The counter help, cart valets and beverage cart girls have become more than just Stonebrooke employees to us. They are always friendly and the way they treat us make us feel like we are their friends.

Lovely decor inside, beautiful views from the patio. Best patio 50 miles in any direction. Somehow this place manages to at once feel both upscale and comfortable.

Great place to play golf. Went to go check it out as a potential wedding venue, came all the way from Saint Paul to check it out, made an appointment with confirmation email and everything. We show you, there is no appointment? the coordinator that we had been talking to was there (Deb) didnt even come to give us a tour or even talk to us, sent some intern to basically tell us that the great and powerful Oz could absolutely not see us without an appointment that we had to begin with. Way to miss out on a 300 person wedding. Terrible business, hope another person sees this and rethinks their plans too.

I love golfing at Stonebrooke Golf Club. They have been extraordinary in helping me get tee times when we need them. They are very good about listen to suggestions we have and taking them into consideration. The whole place runs so well we are very happy when we are here.

My wife and I were married here over 10 years ago, and we had the great opportunity to return for a family wedding recently. It was just how we remembered it. The restaurant is a great place for a reception. Its two-level dining area makes it easy to see the head table and the ambiance is wonderful.
