My two oldest boys had fun at Valleyfair. There are a limited amount of rides and activities for children under 48tall. I recommend waiting until your child is at that required height to go. One of the favorite rides of the day was the Wave. The Wild Thing, the North Star and the Corkscrew are also really fun.

We had a fun time at Valley fair two weeks ago. The rides were great and the atmosphere was unique. I’ve been to quite a few amusement parks and this is definitely an amusement you should visit if you get the chance. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars is because the lines for food and drinks were super long and I go to parks knowing this may be the case but the team members didn’t seem like they cared as much as they could about being efficient and speeding up the lines. The food is a little pricey as well but that’s understandable for any amusement park.

My son & I had an amazing time on the Fourth of July! We arrived early. We did buy the food all you can eat all day & the drinks. Next time we will split the food one since you can eat every three hours & it was too costly to buy for two. Not all the stands accept the food pass but they did have plenty that did. The drinks were cheap enough for us to buy two passes & they have a handle you can carry them with you. The lockers were a bit spendy @$15 all day. If you dont bring valuables inside, you are allowed to set them to the left by the rides where no one will touch them. The fire works were amazing again!!! the whole reason why we came. =)It did rain & some of the rides shut down but it was only temporary.

Fun, clean, and rides for almost all ages. 5/5 stars because I really love fast rides and this park has a lot of them! It can get busy later in the season when its hot and the water park is open, but if you go on a day where the weather is a little cooler or right when the season starts, then the parks is pretty empty and you dont have to wait in lines for a long time.

One of the cutest, cleanest, well-kept parks Ive been to. The rides arent anything crazy but are still tons of fun. The park does a great job on their decorating and design. Tons of colorful rides and lights. Theres an awesome kids area, tons of stuff for adults as well, and everything in between that everyone can enjoy. High Roller is a timeless classic for families to ride together, Wild Thing is a great thrill ride if you like heights and thrills, and Renegade is the best coaster in the park.

Great amusement park. We were worried there wouldnt be many rides for our 5 and 3 year old boys, but we were pleasantly surprised. The lines were pretty long for the main thrill rides, but that is to be expected on a Sunday. Having to pay almost $20 for parking is a joke though.

Went with my family, Went on almost everything there! My favorite ride would be the Northstar You sit in a strapped down swing and go about 230 ft high and swung around for about four/five minutes. Spent about 7 hours at the park and the last hour it rained heavily. Although it was raining, we stayed went on a few more rides and rode that one ride near the entrance, I dont remember the name of it but its that water boat one. IT WAS REALLY EMPTY! Only a few people here and there. Staff was wonderful, even took personal song requests near the smaller but fast rides, got to listen to some of my favorite radio pop/rock music. So pricing is always annoying anywhere, but for $35 (without the extra discount for my fathers military service) a typical family of 6 should be looking at around $280/300 I recommend bring an extra $100/200 for food and games. But overall amazing experience!

Valleyfair is an amusement park with really enjoyable rides as well as many varied food options. However I wish that the stores would be open more in a rainy scenario without actual lightning. I also had a ride on the high roller where it stopped because of maintenance issues. The roller coaster is old so it makes a little more sense. Other than that most of the times I go there I enjoy what is there.

Had a BLAST at Valley Fair! Visited on the fourth Saturday of May and it was pleasantly not that crowded! Lines for rides were minimal. My 8 year old and 3 year old LOVED the rides and the experience overall (as did my husband and I)! When we first arrived, I needed to speak to someone in Customer Relations. Annie, a team lead, was TOP-NOTCH in processing my request and making my family and I feel like valued guests. She gave us 1st Visit buttons since this was my familys first time at the park. From the moment we walked into the park to our exit, our day was hassle free and full of fun. All the employees we interacted with were pleasant and knowledgeable. I loved the diversity and inclusion. The park was very clean and well maintained. I felt safe and comfortable. Kudos to Valley Fair for that. Just a couple of recommendations:NEVER PAY FOR ADMISSION AT THE GATECheck the website out for deals and packages. That can save you some . Also, check with your employer- a lot of companies offer their employees discounted tickets to local attractions including Valley Fair...BUY THE ALL DAY MEAL PLAN ($35)You get an entree and side every 90 minutes. The meals alone cost about $13-$15 each if you were to eat as you go. Its worth it! Especially for families... See the photo I uploaded for the meal options...BUY THE UNLIMITED DRINK SOUVENIR CUP ONLINE ($13)Free refills every 15 minutes. Again, so worth it when drinks are $5 each... A family can share one refillable drink all day. Plus, its in a nice reusable plastic cup with a straw and lid and you can bring it back on other visits and pay $1 to fill/refill. There are no lids and straws for the disposable drinks. Its a no brainer if you ask me...BRING EXTRA CLOTHES AND SHOESYou will more than likely get wet on some rides. Extra clothes are nice to have in tow- as well as both a pair of sandals and sneakers per person. The nice thing is that you can leave them in your car and go get them if necessary. You get hand stamped for readmittance if you should need to leave. Towels are also handy!PAY FOR PARKING IN ADVANCE ONLINEIts a couple of dollars cheaper- but hey, every dollar counts and you could use the money saved to pay for games inside the park...

This was probably a better experience with Valleyfair, but only because my best friend bought a season gold pass. Most folks were at the state fair and its a weekday so the place was pretty dead, making it nice with short lines. Most employees didnt know much about the season pass cards and that was frustrating. If you have any questions about your pass, just go to guest services right away because employees are useless on that front. The rides have changed. I dont mean new rides built or old ones removed, I mean the way they operate. They didnt play any music like they used to for rides. And one ride in particular used to make several rounds around the track forward and several rounds backwards. Instead we went around the track in one direction and it was disappointing. It would be comparative to riding the power tower but they only have the power tower that only goes up instead of having one that drops you and rockets you into the air. It was a great day to go and I had a lot of fun. I just believe that employees should know about season packages revolving around the place they work at. The job isnt just about pushing buttons and making sure you did your safety checks. Its about how you interact with the guests. Believe it or not an employee can make a break a good time with the bored, sarcastic attitudes. I do want to remark about the gentlemen behind the photo counter at the wild thing. He was amazing and he should have had backup because he was clearly overwhelmed. Dont be one of those places that treats their employees like sh. Thats the end of my review.

1) My son got stung by a bee. With all the Soda fountains, ice cream, mini donuts...bees are everywhere!! Every trash receptacle had bees swarming in them.2) Food and beverage was expensive for the mediocre quality. French fries from the place where the turkey legs are were cold and stale. Glad it was a free corn day, I survived on that and just had to worry about my son to feed.3) Fast Pass is the worst idea ever!! . Seriously waited over an hour to get onto the giant swing while we watched several people get off and get right back on....most of the rides are the same as when I was a kid and I’m 45 now, the parking lot is the same so I’m sure the park has plenty of profit without the fast pass option or a parking fee.Overall we had a good time, Wisconsin Dells is better. As a local, returning visitor Valley Fair is one of Minnesota’s top attractions to visit. Nearly 60 rides, and a water park on hot summer days (included in ticket cost) Ticket cost is a bit pricy at a 54.99 gate price. You can find them on line for around 39.99. If you’re visiting once or twice, it’s fine. I would recommend the season pass. You can go unlimited times throughout the season starting at 79.99.I love the rides. Greats like Renegade, Wild Thing, Steel Venom, and Power Tower are favorites, but theres so much more.Food cost is quite insane. 12-17 dollars for A burger and fries. 3.99 for a water bottle. Very unimpressed. With that fright lane purchase you don’t get the skeleton key, doesn’t unlock special rooms, no chateau shot glass... so what am I paying for? I would wait in line instead of paying extra. We pay for those to get the specials that come with it. Now to talk about the scare zones, boring. The monsters weren’t scary. Out of the whole park I only saw two that were scary. Previous years were great. This is by far the worst year yet. Not to mention the ghetto level in there. Police every where last night. Having been to this park many times over the years, with the last being around the time Renegade first opened, WOW! Their prices have gone up, but they have made SO many upgrades and changes for the better. If you intend to go more than once (or if you intend to buy park beverages and not bring your own empty bottle), buy the souvenir cup online to save big time on your drinks the whole day at the park (first day refills are free, after that its $1.00 a refill for the season). A bottle of water will set you back $3.99 alone. While youre at it, buy everything online: youll save $2-4 For everything you purchase online vs. on location. If you intend to go more than three times, get the season pass. We went as a family during starlight prices ($36 at the gate) and even the season pass bring a friend price was $32 at the gate. If you get your season pass online you can also do the payment plan option and they charge you the same price (no interest based upcharge) as if you had bought it directly. Parking is free with a season pass, otherwise expect to drop $17 with each visit. Yikes!!Having been to both Six Flags Texas and Valleyfair, I can say for the price this is a great park. I might be biased since this is my hometown, but I honestly thought for the value Valleyfair was a better park. For folks who cant do spinning rides like me without getting sick, there are plenty of coasters.Season pass holders save 10% off food and possibly merch, so dont forget to flash your pass at the food stands if you dont end up buying the meal pass. Get the bucket of mini donuts!! Feeds 4 plenty. Expect to pay from $8-15 For any food item if you dont pack your own. There were hardly any lines when we went after 5 PM except for Renegade.

Valleyfair has gotten ridiculously spendy. I mean ridiculously expensive spendy! Wow! $55 per adult to get in plus $17 to park geez! I used to love going to Valleyfair in the nineties every summer back in the day when it was cheaper. It was better in the mid late nineties. The food now at Valleyfair is expensive geez! Paid $18.88 for a burger fries and soft drink at Coasters diner and the food wasnt anything to brag about. Plus it was kinda unclean and sloppy at Coasters diner.!️ People in line for the rides falsely accuse me of cutting in front of them when I know that isnt right to do. Lines for the rides get .unorganized sometimes. Valleyfair is kind of far from where I live which is in the St. Cloud area where I live now. For all the ridiculously high prices and far away drive it just not worth it anymore. Plus Valleyfair isnt independently managed its all now corporate owned just isnt the same anymore.

Always a great time! No better deal then their season pass with dinning plan. It makes visits affordable. There food is better than expected. Usually lines are not very long so you get to experience a lot every visit.

Do not buy a season pass. They did not offer full refunds for those who bought a 2020 pass. They offered a partial refund and who knows if they will be open 2021. Customer service is a joke.

I have been coming to Valleyfair ever since I was a kid, so I love this place as it holds many special memories for me. I love coming here with my sisters each summer. Its a bit pricey, but I was able to get a Groupon which was well worth it. Also, carpooling is a must as you pay separately for parking. Buy all tickets online! But a fun way to spend a summer day in my opinion!
