A great place to try a wide variety of meads and Texas wines. The 5 samples for $15 are generous pours and can easily be shared with a group to find which ones each person likes. The young lady working the counter was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful the day we visited. The place is off the beaten path, but a nice drive and worth the trip.
Came here as part of my journey to try all the meaderies in Texas. The tasting is very worth it, as this place has a dearth of options and all of them are distinct and flavorful. The owners focus explicitly on taste for their mead making process, resulting in highly aromatic wines. If you can only try one mead, the minstrel is your man, but the specialty selection is filled with great flavors. The Outcast is a great option if you like your drinks bubbly, but youll have a good time whatever selection you make.
Excellent mead with excellent service. Very glad we found this place . Couldnt ask for more!
I havent been to the meadery, but I have tried their products, and I can say they have the tastiest mead Ive tried. Way better than Meridian Hive, and honestly gives Thorins a run for their money too. Plus they do such interesting flavors-the jalapeno mead was so surprisingly tasty!
Absolutely amazing wines and their meads are off the chain!
LOVE this place. If you want distinct, powerful flavors, this place has that. Friendly staff and gorgeous building and outside spaceMinstrel’s Mead and Berserker Blod stole my heart
Great tour and delicious drinks! The owner was very friendly as easy to talk to, and the place itself is beautiful. We left with some great raspberry champagne, and will be back to buy other stuff in the future.
Mead is amazing! Best flavors and varieties! We can’t wait to come back.
Fantastic mead, a welcoming atmosphere, what else could you ask for?
Awesome experience. The meads were fantastic and different from typical tasting experience.
The Outcast is the best mead ever!
Amazing!
