Huge thank you to whoever was staffed when I went. Yall were amazing, super kind and helpful. Awesome place. Still running with Covid going on, and they completely have their sanitation measures down. Spent 20 bucks to get an all day pass for attractions and games. Couldnt ask for a better deal
We just discovered this place this week. I had no idea this place existed and had a rock solid roller coaster. $21 to get in with all access. My son and I rode the Switchback coaster 8 times. He did other things as well but the coaster was why we drove an hour from Austin. We ride coasters all over the country and loved it. Well worth the trip. Things for all ages.
Zdts is the best place to go to I might either think about going there on my thirteenth birthday
This amusement park is an excellent value! The pricing is so reasonable and they have activities for all ages. My toddler loved the huge indoor jungle gym. My older kids enjoyed all of the rides. It is so nice that they do one price that includes everything. Kids can run around and ride everything without worrying that there will be an extra fee. The water slides are nice but that part of the park feels like an after thought. It could definitely use a pool of some sort. Overall highly recommend. We will be going back next summer.
The games are fine and so is the roller coaster go karts pretty fun I think the only thing they need to do is get employees who are friendlier and also update that 80s carpet the main building just seems so dated they definitely need an update.
Good times with family today, everyone followed health protocols and staff went behind every thing kids touched with cleaner.Enjoyed my time there today and so did my kids. Thanks all at ZDT Seguin TX.
It honestly not really that good of a place. It is cheap to go there but its really a small place the water side was like 3 slides no pool. A small go Kart place and some regular arcade games that are not really that good but I guess if you have little kids they would enjoy I took my 10 year old and he honestly didnt like it either. The only bright side is that you can bring your own picnic.
Excellent experience, every last worker all day long was nothing but pleasant, patient and caring!! So good to have old fashioned service.. the place was very clean.. and prices were under priced for the value... people dont miss this one!!
The kids loved it. It is a SMALL amusement park. It has 3 rollercoasters and 3 waterslides with a really small sorry simple splash pad. But the lines were short and the kids had a great time. You can also bring some snacks or lunch from home.
Affordable park with cool rides, and arcade with climbing walls and family fun for all ages.
My grandkids love this place! Its affordable and right here in town
Nice little getaway. Price for the quality and amount of rides is ok. Overall very fun!
It is a good place for the family on the weekend its amazing for all ages
This was a fun little amusement park. Its nice to be able to pay one price and be able to play video games and enjoy all of the rides and water entertainment. Very reasonably priced too.
Amusement park level fun in small town atmosphere. My girls enjoy it more than six flags for that very reason
Having been going to ZDTs for years, it is still a great place to go for a good time on a budget. The Switchback Roller coaster is the most recent addition to the park and still runs great, there is usually very little wait leading to multiple re-rides. ZDTs has some of the best go-karts in the area, all electric and FAST, we were honestly surprised how fast the karts went and were so much fun to drive. They have a large go kart track that goes up multiple levels which is also unique for many similar offerings in the San Antonio and Austin areas. In the summer, multiple water slides offer a great way to cool down(in the off season, ticket prices are also reduced to make up for these attractions being closed). Two smaller family rides offer long ride cycles and short waits. A large outdoor rock wall built on an old grain silo is a challenging climb but so much fun to watch.Inside the main building, a ballroom/play land for kids is very well done and offers lots for them to explore as it goes up very high. Indoor rock climb/vr coaster ride and trampoline are fun for the kids as well. The only negative thing I have to say about ZDTs is the aging games in the arcades. Having been coming for years, the arcade games are often quite old. They do have some more modern classics like Guitar Hero, Fast and the Furious and other racers but many of the other games are out of date and dont function very well. All games are set to free play so your not really cheated out of anything but it would be nice to see some newer games brought in to replace the older aging machines.Overall, ZDTs is a great time for fun on a budget. Go by if you have a few hours to kill and want to have fun.
This park is amazing. When you walk in you will find an all you can play arcade. You will also find a place you can buy food. There is also an virtual reality rollercoaster, an indoor rock climbing wall, a room filled with cannons that shoot soft foam ball. When you step out side you will find rides for people of all ages. During the summer there is a water park further into the park. Oh and did I forget to mention that the have an Awesome go kart course .short this place has something for everyone weather you are 1 or 100
Me and my family had fun We got the wristband with the meal combo...Not bad Seguin.. Not bad at all.. Employees were nice.. and on point with making sure everything was sanitized. I would have gave it 5.. If you could have gave a free water.... because of covid... no bottle water... just a cup with ice and tap... would be nice... just saying... its only like a dollar plus.... no water fountains because of covid... .. make your money ... i guess...
Love this place. Every time weve gone the staff has been friendly and rides have been awesome.
This is a wonderful place to let children have fun and burn up energy lol. I suggest if you go a lot that you buy season passes. Unlimited free game play and and rides. Including virtual reality ride. Employees are excellent with kids. Its a great place with snack bar.
Super clean and the staff is friendly. Very nice arcade included and Switchback is a nice little gem to have!!
Amazing hidden gem. My girls love the water park and the go carts. Have to go every couple months as a must, family loves it . Great theme park experience without the drive and crowds of San Antonio
Great little park i stopped by on my visit to Six Flags Feista Texas and SeaWorld San Antonio Definitely worth your time. If your a coaster enthusiast traveling to the bigger name parks down here do not pass up on Switchback one of the most unique coaster experiences you can find in the U.S the drop is great the trip out is fast and relentless and reminds a big of me of Mineblower another Gravity Group Woodie in Florida. Then you hit the vertical spike which is what really sets this ride apart from other wooden coasters, that as well as the awesome backwards airtime you get on the return trip. The switch track at the station and the fact this ride travels through old buildings and they didnt have to tear them down to build it is really great engineering from the Gravity Group. ZDTs made a great choice installing this world class wooden coaster. On top of that the staff were all extremely friendly the ride ops were fast and officent with loading trains and they did a great job sanitizing and cleaning the trains after each cycle. The admission price was very reasonable and they had a really nice drawstring bag i purchased with Switchbacks logo on it.I would definitely recommend ZDTs check this small park out if your visiting the San Antonio area!
The rides are sparse compared to a larger amusement park, but there small crowds and two arcades set to Free Play.Pretty easy to spend 2-3 hours here, and feel like you got a good deal. Being able to bring outside food also helps.Overall, its a good value, but dont plan on spending the entire day here.
Lots to do here. Something for everyone.
We visited the last 3 hours that the park was open. Which you can do everything in that amount of time. The water park is not open during the week until memorial day. Although the park is only 13 years old, it looks a lot older, it just needs a little TLC. The kids truly enjoyed themselves.
First time there, and it was better than expected! Clean, plenty of restrooms, tons of places to sit down and cool off indoors. Will definitely be back this summer!
Amazing place! Family friendly and the customer service is the best! Definitely highly recommended to bring your family of all ages, to this great hideaway amusement park.
Had a super fun time, everything is clean they sanetized every game in the game room after it was used by some one, aswell as go carts and ride seats... For 25$ how can you not go :)
I give it 5 stars for what it is:a quality little local amusement park. Lots of games, fun rides, an impressive little roller coaster. I hear the water park is terrific. Great kid fun!
Do give them a thumbs on sanitizing..The games have to be space apart giving the circumstances but an hour will do only so much you can do .Games are broken the rides are 4 for the Rollercoaster and Go-KartsWaterpark is ok .
In the middle of the pandemic they are very thoerl and on point about sanitizing and safe distancing. Thank you zdts!!
Excellent park with great staff. Cant beat the fun for the price!
What a great little park. Immaculately clean, awesome staff, reasonable prices and a whole lot of fun! If you are a coaster enthusiast visiting Six Flags Fiesta Texas, this little park is definitely worth the trip. Switchback is an awesome coaster and there is enough random odds and ends to keep adults entertained to make it worth the 45 minute or so drive from San Antonio.Really hope this park continues to grow because the family that owns it does a phenomenal job operating it.
They have some good rides but, they are very over priced. I do not recommend for children under 5.
This place was fun. Little expensive to get in for even little kids. The infinite playing time on arcade games is worth it if the kids stay long enough. Roller coaster is fun.
So much fun! Its great to watch the kids just go nuts. Ive been 2x for birthday parties and Im actually looking forward to the next one!
This family owned park is a wonderful hidden gem nestled in the charming town of Seguin. It truly is a family park that offers something for everyone! The waterslides are a blast and they even have a water coaster. The roller coaster is one of a kind and packs a punch with its unique design that whips and turns through buildings towards and then backwards! Hands down in my top 10 coasters. The owners are always there to great you and make you feel welcome and you just wont have a better experience at any other amusement park. I just love this place!
I love this place! You cant beat an all inclusive amusement pass for$22! The roller coaster is legit! Lines arent that long, not sure about the summer time, but we went on a Saturday. Food prices are good, but serving size arent that big. The fried Oreos are worth it. There is fun for adults also! Kids will love it.
This place was a lot more fun than it looked driving up to it. The roller coaster was legit, they had a parachute drop ride (more little kids speed), two arcades, what looked to be a 5 story playhouse, roller coaster simulator, go carts on a legit two story track, rock climbing and other things. Definitely worth a trip there!
Family friendly. Safe. Fun.
Definantly get your moneys worth, my girls had a blast ! With a 7 yr old and a 10 yr old, I think the park was just the right size for our family. Go cart were awesome, surprisingly so was the roller coaster. The arcade games were all free with the bracelet we purchased, and the lines were not long at all!
This place is a great value for the price...they could upgrade their arcade games as many were so old that you could barely see what you were playing in screen. Also the rides are limited I believe there are only 4 rides. They are built for 12 year old kids as larger bodies dont fit well at all. Didnt get to try the water park.
Amazing place for the family. Go-karts, water park, roller coaster and video arcade. Very nice staff, clean areas and restrooms. Good food. You will love it.
Fun little amusement park. Nicest staff all ways clean, rarely have to wait more than a minute for a ride. Great way to spend a day.
Not a great atmosphere the rides that was open the employees was on their phone not greeting. No Sunday Funday for us
Awesome place. Staff friendly and no crowds. When u are hot from riding the amusement rides u can cool down playing video games all for the entrance fee!
This place was awsome. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rides were super fun.
Well worth price! My daughter loved the variety of things and the water slides. All the employees were friendly and helpful!
My grandkids love to come here...
We had shot it fun here and will be going back
It is one of the best family owned amusement parks in the world. Very humble people
So love the go karts you can use boost 2 times. Theres 3 water slides with water where little kids can play its on concrete. The games & everything is free with price it varies. Its little expensive but if you dont like waiting & walking a lot this is for you. Will be going back but next yr thinking season pass..
Small, but friendly atmosphere.First time here with the family, didnt have to really wait in line for anything. My kids were happy they got to get on everything as much as they wanted.Reasonable pricing, very clean and friendly staffing. Would I come back, HECK YEAH!!!!
This place is awesome! Reasonable prices, you can bring your own food and drinks, and the lines are super short. We went on a Saturday afternoon in the summer and never had more than 10 minutes in a line.
Fun...never too crowded. And Switchback coaster is great.
Great place for family fun. Roller coaster was impressive for the size. Food was reasonable and drink refills were just a dollar. Great value and no nickel and dime ploys like six flags.
Fantastic property! Switchback is such a fun roller coaster.
Great surprise first time here would come back good priced a few more attractions then 5 stars
First time there, looks like a good place to take the family and friends for fun
Stayed for 7 hours and didnt know it Well worth it
The place is awesome and the people are great! They have enough to do that even when its busy lines are short.
Was a great place for the kids to just run and place. Very curtious and priced great!!
We visited for the first time today and werent too happy with what we saw. The price doesnt match what is being offered. Yes, the wristbands are for unlimited rides and play in the arcade BUT there arent many rides nor games. The arcade is dark and smells old and lifeless. The games are look to be be from the 90s. The go karts are slow and the track is not impressive. The roller coaster was the highlight but is over before it even begins lol. The indoor playground/jungle gym was dark and overcrowded. There were big kids in the toddler area and so I didnt feel safe letting my 2 yo go play. There was no concern for safety and wild children running around with no concern for the supposed rules placed on the walls and gates. The food was great however, which is why I gave 2 stars. Its is the usual carnival food. This long drive to the middle of nowhere to pay outrages prices for minimal amenities is ridiculous. This place needs a full renovation and update to bring it to the 21st century or lower the $23 per person price to $9.99!!
Great place for kids. Well managed, lotsa fun!
Kids had a BLAST!
Loved it! its like a small amusement park without all the clouds and long lines. Glad we went there. You can bring outside food and drinks. We will come again here!
Great place for little ones, cheaper, and usually little wait time. Lots of things to do.
Switchback is a great and unique family coaster! Its intense enough for everyone to have a good time but calm enough that almost anyone can ride. The kids play area is AWESOME even though we didnt get to spend much time there.
This is a wonderful small family-owned park! It has an awesome wooden roller coaster called Switchback. Kiddie rides, two game rooms that are set for free play. Bring your bathing suit, because they have water slides as well! They also have a trampoline jump ride and two rock climbing walls... This is all included in one very reasonable price! Great place to host an event or party! They allow outside food, but do have carnival style food, (as well as pizza), and sodas available. They are open year-round, except of course the seasonal water park area. FREE PARKING ALWAYS!!
I have alot to say about ZDT Amusement Park.TL;DR This small park packs a large punch.Today was my first time going to ZDT Amusment Park and based on the size of this park, my expectations were very low, admittedly. Because of this I only purchased two unlimited daily passes, one for myself and one for my 5 year old.As you walk in youre immediately greeted by an arcade room. These arcade games are a little on the older end, but every single one of them is set up to free play mode, so it more than makes up for their age. The majority of the games are racing games, with a few arcade shooters, and a couple of music games sprinkled throughout. My son really got a kick out of playing some air hockey though. This building holds quite a few attractions which will have you curious how they fit so much in such a tiny place. This building not only has an arcade, but a rock climbing wall, a bungee cord trampoline, a virtual roller coaster machine, and a HUGE playground (more on those later). As you make your way outdoors youre immediately met with arguably the heart of ZDT, Switchback. Switchback is a small wooden roller coaster, but just like with ZDT itself, it packs ALOT of punch. The ride starts up a chain lift hill and then plummets you 58 feet at 40 mph. The ride then takes you in and out of a building, while making sharp turns and going a few smaller hills. Thats not the best part though, this ride then sends you straight up into the air into a dead end of the track. As you approach the top you come to a stop and then fall backwards, doing a majority of the ride completely backwards. This ride blew me away, and my son and I rode this about 15 times. As you leave the Switchback, you immediately run into a ride called the Dizzy Toucan. The Dizzy Toucan sits riders in a circle, spins them and swings them. If youre familiar with larger rides like The Joker at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, then just imagine a smaller version of it, yet with the same thrills.Another ride at the park, the Parachute Drop is a ride where once again riders sit in a circle and are dropped over and over again from the top of the ride. This one is guaranteed to tickle your stomach.Thunderbolt Speedway Go-Karts are included with park admission (yes, thats right. There is no additional charge to ride the go-karts like so many other parks do). These Go-Karts are all electric and are actually really cool. These go-karts are heavily regulated (in a safe way) so when its time to depart the loading area, they go at a very slow rate. Once everyone is on the track the go-karts top speed goes up and you can race as usual. The karts also stop in the event of an accident on the track, and while I can see some being upset over this, its a fantastic safety tool (but safety is my only issue with this park funny enough, more on this later as well). The track itself goes indoors and outdoors and up to multiple levels. Its one of the better tracks Ive driven go-karts on.Between all the rides is another arcade that is essentially no different than the first arcade. Older arcade games that are mostly racing, but still a great time. Theres also another large rock climb wall called the silo climb, but we did not do that one so I have no opinion on it.Going back to the roller coaster simulator they have. Great in theory, but it made me very nauseous, but thats not ZDTs fault. My 5 year old absolutely loved it, and yes it does go upside down..... alot.... If you get motion sick easy, avoid this like the plague. If you dont suffer, give it a try, its very unique. The playground is phenomenal! They have ball launchers all over the playground, a huge slide, and lots of other activities built in. My son LOVED it! They also have a smaller area for little ones.My ONLY issue with this park was safety. On multiple occasions I witnessed the park employees leaving the exit gate open to their rides, or the employees performing dangerous activities, such as running under a ride in motion. However they were all polite and great.
Kids had tons of fun! Price is reasonable. Place is clean and well kept.
With great rides (switch back), food (deep fried oreos), and activities that just plain dont take up much time (rock climbing) makes this one of the best places.
This place is pretty small but I like it. Feels more personal. It was fun and i got a sick t-shirt for %11.
First time visiting.. very surprised! Friendly staff, clean dining room & restrooms.. kids had a great time.. only complaint—-drinks are a bit over priced. We will be returning.
Visited for a kids birthday party. Grounds were clean, staff was friendly and the all day price was reasonable. Buuuttt $3.00 for a coke is pushing it! Other than that, was a very fun place and we will be going back soon.
Family loved it. Grandkids want to come here this summer
Small Park but thats good! Lots to do but wont get too listing this place. Get the wrist band. Its worth it. Great for small kids
Wow. How have i lived in this area for 10 years and not known about this place!? Its fantastic. Small. Rural. But fantastic. The rollercoaster is ace. It had everything but loopty loops. Its fast. And exciting but even my 5 year old daughter enjoyed it (7 times with her eyes closed). The water slides (3 of them) were great. Who needs a water park that is just a water park? The free arcades kept my 8 year old son entertained for an hour and would have been longer if i hadnt forced him away.A free bungy-trampoline? Free 100 foot rock climbing wall for the adults?Ball pit for my little 3 year old.The only thing that wasnt worth its price tag was the go carts... theyre ok, but even the slightest bump while trying to pass is frowned upon so its pretty much a get in line, stay in line, drive around a couple times and then move on to the next activity.I havent mentioned everything but you get the idea.I also love that theyre not pushy about concessions. We brought our own lunch as did many others but there was good looking good on site too... on offer but not required. Nice.I loved this place and thankful for its existence.3 of my 4 children enjoyed it better than their trip to Disneyland. That says something.
It is a little ways out from San Antonio but so worth it. The prices are incredibly reasonable and there is so much for kids of all ages to do. We spent an entire day and had a blast.
Love this park! This family-owned park may not be as huge as a Six Flags, but what it lacks in size it makes up in quality. Switchback is an awesome coaster, the electric-powered go carts are very fun, the free play arcade will have you playing for a long time, and the Maxflight simulator is a must. I love the food at this park too.
This is AMAZINGLY AWESOME
EXCELLENT FUN PLACE ESPECIALLY FOR THEIR REASONABLE PRICES. LONG DRIVE FROM SAN ANTONIO PROPER. BUT STILL GREAT PLACE. EVERYONE CAN HAVE A BALL.
Just an overall great experience. 1st time here and we will definitely be back and will highly recommend to others.
Its kinda cool. Kinda not. Idk. Ill just give it 3 stars.
Cool little place if you have small children
Excellent park the staff is so friendly and the food quality is good.
Fun a lot of games to play, nice little water park for kids descent food and prices we go every other year. But might be the last time kids getting to big for it i still love it
