Showcase Cinemas in Seekonk, Massachusetts is a great movie destination. Ample and easy parking for all ages. The theater lobby is clean and wide open to fit a large number of people as can be the case on weekend nights. Easy-to-navigate to theaters which are also clean. Each theater is marked by a number and no longer holds the name of the movie playing within the theater. The style of each theater Is stadium seating. Good selection of mainstream films. If youre looking for independent-style films, better bets would be Avon Cinema on the East Side of Providence and once again The Cable Car Theatre, of which the latter has reopened as of this writing. Finally, for the first time in decades I bought candy at the concession stand at Seekonk Cinema and was charged an exorbitant $5 for a sugar fix. This is the state of movie concessions today. Be prepared to bring cash if you get hungry.

Not a bad place to see movies. Staff was super nice. Wasnt packed when I went during the week. Chairs are uncomfy and squeaky tho is my worst complaint. The theater and halls were clean. I dont know why but I find the non used concession stands super cool to look at.

Ive always enjoyed coming to this theater as opposed to much larger ones like Providence or Dedham. The staff is really nice and for the most part the theater is relatively empty. Now it does depend on what day/time you go, but Ive never had an issue with trying to find a good seat. The parking lot itself is small compared to other theaters Ive been in which should also indicate just how busy it gets, and the only drawback is that they usually only play about half a dozen movies. They do stay current with all the big money makers though so youre not stuck watching movies that came out 6 months ago as your only options. If you enjoy a smaller, more easily accessible theater than I would highly recommend this place.

The showcase cinemas have stepped up their game, cleaner facilities, better lighting, management is wearing suits. Streaming must be eating their lunch, so now they are improving services and pricing.

Solid theatre with friendly staff. It doesnt have the upgrades of some newer theatres, but it was clean and comfortable. I would gladly go back there for my next movie

Hard to rate a theater, this would change based on the movie; times and what else is playing at the time. We went to an early showing. We watched The Mr Rogers movie. Very light crowd. Too early for the Star Wars crowd. Clean ECT.. What you would expect of a theater.

Showcase movie theaters are the best for your dollar.Look into times that tickets are less costly....

Get a starpass for bonuses and $5 Tuesdays. Or, get a monthly subscription. Nicest cinemas yo see new releases.

Theaters have low seating capacities and arent upgraded to the big comfy leather chairs. SUPER clean though and theaters rows are pretty spacious so your knees arent hitting someones head. Definitely a better movie going experience than the Showcase theater in Providence Place Mall or Warwick Mall.

First time today with the family. Step back to 1997. But, it was in perfect condition! Movie was great as well. Toy Story 4.

My husband and I went to a matinee so the theater was pretty much slow. But that didnt bother us one bit.The theater was clean and in order. And its my preferred theater to watch a movie. Love the stadium seating.

I love the movies but each time Ive gone there, the popcorn is NOT fresh! Plus the prices are insane now.. $52 for 2 people and 1 large drink and popcorn. Crazy

It was the perfect place to go, we didnt have to deal with the lines at the mall, and parking is easy.getting in and out of there is easy... and what more do you want in a movie theater than to go and see the movie you want without having to wait on lines

Good times, easy in and out. There were surprisingly few people at the theatre on a Friday night. We arrived early for the second weekend showing of Antman and the Wasp, thinking that wed need to save seats for our group of seven. It wasnt a problem at all, we easily got seven good seats near each other. The movie was fun and the theatre seemed to be in good condition.The only downside is that the theatre doesnt do reserved seating.

Saw green book on saturday at 4:20 show. The attendant was very friendly and helpful. Easy in and easy out. Didnt have refreshments, but looked and smelled good. The theater (and womens room) was clean and tidy. Thé green book was a great show too!

I choose this location for its convenience. I knew that it had not been renovated like most of the showcases other locations. That being said, an older building isnt a justification for the treatment I received from one of the employees.I was in the main hall with a couple dozen other people, some carrying large backpacks, but I was the only one who was stopped and forcibly searched. He went through my purse without giving me a reason.I was the only colored person, and the only one searched.

Older movie theater, which offers a decent moviegoing experience. The theater has some modern amenities, such as surround sound and stadium seating, but lacks others such as curved screens, high-back seats or armrests that can swing up out of the way. This theater could certainly use a tech refresh and a makeover to come up to amenities offered at other nearby theaters. The snack bar offers lots of choices, although prices are steep, bordering on highway robbery and popcorn is usually from a bag, popped at some previous point in time (rather than freshly popped). This theater offers all the latest releases, even some in 3D also. Movie prices here are generally higher than at other area theaters, and some to increase every time we go (which is quarterly). Admittedly a movie outing for a family of four, complete with snacks and drinks will cost more than dinner at a casual dining chain, so this limits how often we go. Overall, this location is convenient, clean and offers lots of free parking so is recommended, but other area theaters offer more for the money.

Love this theater me and my daughters are definitly repeat customers..Always come mabey once a week or once every other week but this time was a disaster. Took my 2 daughters to see Pet Semetary and sat down before the movie was about to start and a group of teenagers sat down right next to us( i didnt mind that part..we expected it to be crowded because the movie just came out the day before) Anyways these 4 teens would not stop talking out loud and just being so rude. At one point i think the one next to me was vaping and he drank MY DRINK by accident... who does that???? Anyways i so thats why i gave a 2 star rating. Nobody wants to spend $50 between tickets and popcorn and not enjoy them selves. And not to mention have a total stranger drink your gingerale.

Really wish they would update this theater to reclining seats. The theater is in a great location and has a good number of movies showing its just so outdated. The concessions are a bit expensive but most theaters are now. If you swing by the Target next door you can get theater boxes of candy for $1.00

My favorite place to see a movie!! Good food for a movie theater, very clean, good staff, extremely comfortable seating, all special needs accommodations. Has a special needs night for my kid who has ASD and has sensory issues so she can enjoy a movie without me worrying a stranger is going to call her a brat or shame her for stimming in public!! I moved to East Providence and I still choose to go here 30 mins away because the Providence place movie theater cant compare.

I went to see A Star Is Born the latest version.Its been over a decade since Ive been to the cinema. I was impressed!First off a very spacious, accessable and maneuverable parking lot. Plenty of designated handicapped spots.The lobby is colorful, positive and soothing to the eye. Clean and well kept.Ive met a charming young woman whom was one the team members and manager. She was helpful in directing me about the place. There have been lots of changes over the years. They have gotten plushier.I love the comfortable theater seats and it seems it less difficult to walk up the steps .The Movie Starring The Magificant Lady G.was spectacular. What better way to enjoy the full experience. The Full Screen And Surround Sound. It felt as though Ive attended a concert.It seems these days one can find fantastic entertainment any where. We have cable, We have satellite..then on ones phone and laptop.However...my suggestion...Go See A Movie In A Movie Theater. Youll Have Grand Time.When You Do Go...Make It The Showcase. Trust Me..It Will Be A Memorable Experience.

Ive been coming here for years since they first opened on route 6.They are constantly improving for a better customer experience. I will really miss this place when I move.

As a Military member, it was the worse treatment that I have ever received and a one of the biggest letdown to my kids, that were so excited to watch a movie. They refused to honor the Military Discount to my dependents. (Showcase Cinemas offer a military discount to all active duty personnel and their dependents at all locations except Showcase SuperLux in Chestnut Hill, MA.). When I asked for the policy the management said that they did not have the policy even when i showed him the policy on my phone they still refused. I hope that they fix and clarify the military discount program, else I will not return to that theater. I Recommend, to my Military Brothers and Sisters not to go to that theater.

Prefer to stay away from Providence mall....its just quietier here...same distance to both locales but unless its an opening.. and a blockbuster, Im in an almost empty theatre during the week.. I love that

Great location and parking. Handicap accessible, all staff is friendly, except for the rude ticket taker. Hes special needs, so nobody complains to management, but I hate dealing with him. Concessions are grossly over priced. Tickets are over priced too.

Great movie theater

This has been, and will forever remain, my favorite movie theater for the past 18 years.The staff is absolutely top notch. The food is great. The theater is coozy. Go see a movie!

I do enjoy seeing films at this theater, but I could also go see the same movie that I wanted to see at any point, at the East Providence 10. Also, the drinks and snacks at the concessions stand are completely unreasonably priced. I wont come here if I dont have to.

Overall, clean theatre. I just really wish that they upgraded to the reclining seats like they have in North Attleborough. That’s the only reason we don’t frequent this one.

The only thing negative are the prices of everything and hot dogs to take forever to be served.

A line to purchase tickets, then a line to purchase food and I finally get to the counter and order a hot dog and am told it will take 7-1O min. Really? Each hot dog you serve takes 7-10 min to prepare? You have lines of people for a 1:00 pm show on a rainy Saturday and you have to cook each hot dog individually? Sad.
