While trying to enjoy a socially distanced lunch with some close friends. The grounds keeper came out and rudely told us we were in a marked off zone (it wasnt marked off). We left the area and enjoyed the park, but with sour feelings from our encounter.

Family friendly as the park is well kept and I love that it is fully fenced in. However, the under 5 playground is out-of-sight of the 5-12 playground making it hard for moms to keep eyes on multiple kids. Also, the riverIs totally inaccessible and only barely visible, so the name is misleading.Our boys friends were trying out an RC plane, so the huge field was great. But I had to keep running to the other side of the park with my 4 year old.

It is a park with a toddler area and an area for older children. It has a dog park, a camping ground, a basketball court, picnic tables with grills. There is a covered area for group barbeques. Plenty of parking. Area for frizbe toss, field for kids to run.

Thinking about places to go during the summer, we stopped at to take a look at this Park. Never made it to the river. RV area closed without notification at the main road. Sardine camping. What catches your eye is the steep new clear-cut across the other side of the river that seems to run the length of the park. Shocking.

The caretaker here keeps the park well maintained but is quite rude and unprofessional. I understand firmness is needed for shenanigans at times but the way I saw him treat kids on the playground today crossed a line. This is my kids favorite park and its disappointing to see him handle minor encounters for kids innocent mistakes. Wouldnt allow that man to talk to my kids should he ever approach us.Otherwise, this is a great park, clean, and plenty of room to play.

Off leash dog park is awesome especially for bob my dog to play with other dogs. Plus its kept up pretty nicely

Took my family there for the Fourth of July weekend did not have a very good experience usally this place is awesome for relaxing. Not this last time. I will only go back if another camp host is hired this lady is a joke. She spent the weekend asking campers to do her work for her as building her deck that she was building all hours of the night. Be prepared she will ask for help from campers.

Cute little park with a playground, covered picnic areas and bathrooms. Its right next to the river, obviously as the name would indicate.

The RV park was ok, 30 amp service.. The park area looks fabulous, but group enclosures are closed. Some good views of the Skagit River from the park and boat launch area.

Never treated so rudely as today by caretaker. My husband and I were filming a yoga session on the stage when caretaker drove down shaking his head. Most parks have signs that areas could be rented and they are free to use if not rented. There were no signs about that. He said well at least youre not drawing on it. He treated us as vandalists. This is a time we need air and less stress. Its not available at this city park. He was very unpleasant and disrespectful.

Nice Park along the banks of the Skagit River. Covered picnic area, barbeque pit, playground equipment, basketball court, ballfield. Big grassy area with grills and picnic benches.

Nice little park right along the river. Plenty of room to run around and two separate parks for different age groups. One for older kids and one for the little ones. A really nice view of the Skagit river near the South East side of the park. This park has a couple baseball fields near by and a dog park across the road from it as well.

Great when you just want to be surrounded by bature, great place for picnics and any event.

Probably the best park Ive ever been to. There are 2 playgrounds (1 regular and 1 for littles) that are state of the art and have things like a zipline and merry go round. There are so many picnic table and covered ares and they are all so well kept. Also has a sand volleyball court! Great for big events and for little strolls out with the family. Theres even a cute dog park next door!

Good place for the little ones

My family have been going there for some 20 years or more. For family reunion .we have watched it grow over the years we like some of the changes, and wish they would have left well enough alone.

Kids love this park, two parts. A little kiddy section up to the left, and bigger kids park to the right, no swings at the little kids part theyre all in the big kids park

Terrible experience two months ago while celebrating a childs birthday. Kids we didnt know started harassing my sweet boy and i told them to leave us alone and they refused and ruined the birthday party Those brats parents should be ashamed of themselves

Very nice park, with an awesome amphitheater - - in Sedro-Woolley thanks to the local Rotary Club. Very well kept by an onsite park manager. Plus a great summer concert series in July & August

I wasnt actually at Riverfront Park, but the dog park next to it. Great place to take your dogs for play, exercise, and interaction.

Ive been to Riverfront park many times in the past. Most times it was just too enjoy a sunny day for a few hours away from home. After several visits on my own and with a friend who has dogs Ive learned 5hat the park has a fenced, off leash, dog area. You still have to scoop your dogs poop (bags provided) but your dog will have loads of room to run without you having to run along side them because they gave to be on a leash. The dog area has a covered picnic table, so if the weather isnt agreeable, i.e. raining, you have a place to be out of the rain. The park also has a full hookup RV park. It has limited spaces (I believe its 12, but dont take my word for it and feel free to correct me if my information is wrong). But its a nice little park, its clean and its quiet.Overall its a great park, there are also sports fields for those who like to be more active than their dog! And lots of open space with no obstructions. And I almost forgot, there is also a place sounds for the kids! Do the park really does cater to everyone. Yes, there are outhouses (not porta-potties).

Pretty cool park. Upper park is for toddlers and lower park is for everyone. Theres a zip line and merry go round plus swings, a slide, a tire swing, basketball court and some weird swing thing. They do lots of events here. In the summer they do live music on the stage! Its by the Skagit River and has an amazing view of the forest and mountains. Close to town with a ball park and dog park as well as an RV park and cute little garden.

Nice enough. I used to live in a house on this ground.

Large fields and plenty to do. The live in groundskeeper can be a bit of a joke though. My friend and I got kicked off the large field well before dusk (the assumed closing time) even though our car was parked outside park limits. It was a bit frustrating, we were just playing some frisbee. No harm in that. Its a safe assumption that our age was a factor as this gentleman was quite rude during our brief encounter.

Visited the park for a Car Show in Sept. and was pleasantly surprised by its charm and kids playground.

Well kept city park with seasonal full hook up RV park. Next to river with boat launch.

GREAT park with camping bathrooms and even a separate dog park. During baseball season you might even catch the little League playing.

Amazing park. They have a long zip line. My kids love this place.

Safe. Caretaker lives on site, hes close to public bathrooms which is nice. Lots of kids and family. Night time gets a bit iffy, cause alot of Field area where some might want to squat for night. But usually safe, family orientated, clean, and fun. Found a used needle by side of port o poddy at a tball game. This is by the tball fields. Kinda wish the nightly activity was monitored more there or more lights. I notice there is no longer a port o poddy over there now. But the park does have inside bathrooms on other side of street.
