What an amazing golf course with breath taking views. First time golfing here and we will definitely be back. Looks like the only downfall of this place is there is a lot of open dirt, by the holes from the javalinas.. But it did not bother us one bit, as it did not hinder our golf game. Cant wait to go back.
This place is gorgeous. It was in great summer shape when we played last weekend. Club down because the altitude affects yardage by 10%. Worth the trip for complete tranquility. Wifi in the clubhouse and no cell service elsewhere. Not a deterrent just an observation. Inquire about the villas along the course.
Incredible views, great atmosphere, superb food and super service (thanks to Oscar). We will return. The experience is amazing.
We went twice this trip. Husband played and I looked at scenery which was amazing. Not a crowded course even on weekend.
I understood it was not open to public bit its the only road that has the access to Rachels Knoll. As we drove in to enter we were told that only 1 car was allowed to enter and it didnt take that long for it to leave. After waiting for almost 30 min, we came to ask the guy at the post who was another person, he told us that it was a jeep and may take several hours. It didnt hurt to tell us that we shouldnt wait as a the tour jeep is in and will take hours to complete instead of giving false hope to us to wait. They said it will only during the covid that these rules were implemented by Rachels Knoll only. I personally questioned their honesty as I see at least 6 cars entering to play golf during our wait at the side of the road.
The scenery is beautiful and breathtaking the course greens probably rolled between a 12 and 13 very consistent a little unforgiving the fairways were in great condition except for the massive amounts of damage From the havalenas There also seemed to be a problem with the irrigation systems as there was running water across a green and extremely soggy areas. Over all would rate the course itself as AB plus beauty would be a 10 service was excellent
Top shelf experience and friendly staff.Beautiful place to visit, even more beautiful to live!
Fabulous layout, perfect conditions, amazing scenery. Play it if you get the chance!
Absolutely stellar views, incredibly clean greens, and very friendly staff. Its the prettiest golf course Ive ever played on. Staff in the pro shop was very courteous and helpful with anything we needed. No cellular or wireless service, but golf cart is equipped with GPS and you can have food from the clubhouse delivered right to your cart in minutes. Breathtaking mountains encompass every view in sight. You are sure to enjoy life out on this course.
Top notch and challenging golf course with the best views from anywhere on every hole.
Very fun track. Narrow. Great views
Per the realtor at seven canyons my wife and I drove to Seven Canyons resort to look at a property today. We were met by 2 security guards one of which informed us that all roads in are closed to construction for the next 3 days OK... but my wife then asked if that meant opening up this Friday or Saturday. The persons response was next three days with a smug smile.Beautiful earea but smug, arrogant security guards we will look elseware.
The golf course is nice, the view is magnificent, the service is excellent. Highly recommended.
Wow!!! Beautiful and deadly!!! Bring ya A game, this place will bite you!!
The most beautiful golf course Ive ever played... and I play a lot of golf
Great beautiful golf. Dont miss. As good as it gets in Sedona.
Beautiful course with amazing views!!
Seven Canyons is a championship golf course with an uncanny ability to leave even the most experienced of golfers in wonder and awe. Once you’re standing on these holes and gazing out on the views, you almost forget that you’re here to hit a ball.Measuring nearly 7,000 yards from the championship tees, Seven Canyons more than compensates for its length in total yardage of natural beauty and walkability. This intimate par-70 course winds its way among jagged cliff faces, red rock monoliths and ancient ponderosa pines, creating risk/reward situations: astute bunkering with small greens, subtle contours, reasonable tight fairways, narrow landing areas and constantly changing elevations that put a premium on shot making
Excellent venue. We are looking forward to coming again when it reopens.
Phenomenal! One of AZ’s best courses. Second time I’ve played and I will be back.
Beautiful golfing among red rocks, canyons and fantastic views.
Great experience. IMAX of golf. Great staff!
Great course, beautiful views, excellent amenities
Its an absolutely beautiful setting for a golf course. The greens are impossible to read and to putt. Too much undulation. Not enjoyable. Bring your camera to this course and leave your putter at home.
Amazing views, great staff and course is in good condition.
For a guy from the East Coast, this place is off the charts for views and challenge. Tough to concentrate with the red Rock mountains in the background. Highly recommend!
Beautiful course and quite challenging. As good of view as you can get in this part of country.
Had the pleasure of playing Seven Canyons Golf Club and this place is unbelievable. The views, the conditions and that facilities were outstanding.
Best weekend getaway
Service was lackluster. We had to wait for over 30 minutes just to have our orders taken and there were only 2 other parties at the restaurant. The $38 ribeye was cooked nicely, but when the menu says shiitake mushrooms will accompany the steak, I was not happy to see a mound of trumpet mushrooms on top. It may sound like splitting hairs, but the flavor was not right. No steak knives either. For having the gratuity already included in the check, this should have been a far better experience.
Absolutely majestic, regardless of price.
Fun course, amazingly scenic, lots of character
It totally sucks . Do yourself a favor and skip it.
Seven Canyons is a must play in Sedona. Beautiful course with picturesque Red Rock views.
Beautiful course!!!!
Beautiful Resort. Food was fantastic. A lot of the staff were wonderful. I was here for a wedding and was a part of the wedding party. Only complaint was that the event coordinator seemed to take the day off without making sure that everything was arranged, so there was a lot of scrambling at the last minute and unnecessary stress placed on the bride and groom. The event was still beautiful even though it did not go as planned. I was kind of surprised by the lack of service considering it is such an upscale venue.
Great course & even better staff. I highly recommend playing this golf course!
Best course in Sedona!
Amazing views challenging course
The Club at Seven Canyons, rated 4-1/2 stars, is home to a championship golf course that ranks with some of the best in Arizona. This desert-style layout provides a wonderful test for your all-round game, with many attractive, skilfully crafted and challenging holes to enjoy. The surrounding Coconino National Park scenery provides a stunning backdrop to your round. A must play if you are in the area.
Beautiful scenery, golf course is in great shape, the food at the clubhouse is amazing. The Villas are unbelievable! So spacious and comfortable. I could stay forever.
This is one of the more beautiful courses you will ever play. Kinda pricey but worth a one time experience.
Beautiful golf course and great restaurant
Very Cool
Greens a little slow, do to May punching. Beautiful coures to see and to play. The staff went out of their way to make it a great experiance. Worth your time to play, if you have adventure and pleasure in mind.
This place is fantastic! Unbelievable views, and a beautiful course that is well-maintained. Not crowded, so good pace of play. As good as the golf course is, playing golf was almost a distraction to enjoying the spectacular scenery. Love it!!
Super courteous and professional staff, perfect fairways and fast greens. Bird watching opportunities early morning. Biggest order of blueberry pancakes. Be careful picking up the rakes -- watch for fiberglass splinters!
Green green!!!
Unbelievable atmosphere and backdrop - its like Tiger Woods video game only your drive doesnt go 320 yards. Youll love playing here.
Beautiful scenery....good service and food
Lovely villas and friendly people all around the resort.
Rich people are so humble!!And the greens are well taken care of
Awesome place very nice staff
If you love golf, being pampered, and want a secluded golf experience amongst the red rocks this is a must
Very good
Beautiful place
Just wanted to let everyone know, who is in the middle income range and had enjoyed having the opportunity to play a reasonably nice golf course with spectacular views, that its no longer possible at Seven Canyons Golf Resort. In previous years (since their bankrupcy) it was possible to play 18 holes with a cart anytime after 2:00pm for $50.00. Since theyre now under new management the afternoon rate is $95.00. For those of us who are not on the PGA tour and simply enjoy playing the game to best of our ability while thouroughly enjoying breath taking views, it truly is disappointing. Theres a vast difference between my wife and I paying $100.00 versus $200.00, especially during these trying economic times when disposable income is continuing to dwindle. Im hopeful theyll reconsider in the near future, but until that happens our best hope is enjoying the memories of playing in times past.As for the actual course and its personnel, the friendliest person by far was the young man loading our clubs on the cart. The young lady at the pro shop was stand-offish and you couldnt find any other personnel with a search warrant. It was pretty easy to stand on more than one tee box and wonder which direction you were going as there were no course management books available. Since the javalenas have free range on the course they wreak havoc on the fairways and enjoy using the sandtraps for their personal litterbox, which again raises the question of workers (or lack thereof) attempting to stay on top of those problems. But in all fairness the views make most of these hurdles easier to live with. I would play there again if they made there rates more appealing for playing during their less than attractive times. I would think that having folks willing to pay $100.00 a couple vs. others not willing to pay the $200.00 couples rate would be a no-brainer. I know of three other couples who also refuse to play there since the rate hike.
Go for the view stay for the golf awesome
Beautiful just beautiful
Wow, just wow
Fabulous!!!
Unbelievable vistas and golf
Manager is awesome
