The course is good for all level of players, just play from the proper tee box. It was well maintained and the greens were receptive to the approach shots. You need to spend some time on the practice green, since bent grass greens are much different from the bermuda greens that are in the valley. I recommend this course to players of any skill level.
Beautiful course can be challenging due to hazard layout. Greens are fast with lots of slope. Center of green best aim point for any pin placement.
Greens are very well kept. Service was great the views are incredible everyone on the course was very pleasant to interact with, some holes are difficult but generally speaking the course isnt too challenging. I played in may and it was only 50$ cant beat it. I live in Phoenix and I will absolutely be back again. Gorgeous weather and gorgeous views.
The course was tournament ready. Very fast greens, and fairways were exceptional. You have to play this course while in Sedona. The scenery was unreal.

OCCC is as good as it gets. Play the right tees. Dont try to be a hero, but have fun. Move up a tee box. RTJ Sr was a master course designer and OCCC shows it. Bring a camera. The pro and her staff are great. If you have a concern or comment, let her know. She will make sure you have the golf experience you deserve. They have a beverage cart on both 9s. The Pro Shop has some cool stuff. Enjoy your round, have fun, and let the course humble you. If I have to play one course in Sedona, its Heathers course.
The golf club is a Harvest Host for those with an RV. We stayed the night after playing a round and cant say enough good things about the course layout & condition, the scenery and the friendliness of the employees. We are already planning our return trip.
We were very excited to play this course based on all of the great reviews and the amazing condition of the course. Unfortunately our experience was tainted by poor scheduling on behalf of the course management. We made it through the first 8 holes without any issues and then ran into several problems. First, as we were preparing to tee off on the 9th hole we started hearing several golf balls hit the trees in front of us. We rushed to get of the tee quickly as several range balls kept landing near us. It looked like the local high school golf team was on the range and taking target practice. Next, when we finished the 9th hole we were astounded to find several new groups in front of us waiting on the 10th tee. We were told by some of the golfers waiting that there were told to start on 10, which essentially turned our nicely paced 18 hole round into an extremely painful last 9 holes. Fortunately the back nine is beautiful, unfortunately I am not sure I would ever want to suffer through the long of a wait again on every hole. I hope this was an anomaly but I can say it wasn’t worth the price given the horrible play management.
Beautiful location, friendly staff make this place! Ryan at the Bar/Cafe was great! Food is good for the price but Id be willing to pay a little more for better quality otherwise I highly reccomend.
We have played here many times when visiting. The workers are very professional and kind. All the people we have met are awesome. The course is always in excellent condition.

Great course, fairways are lush and greens are true. Many sand traps placed in strategic locations, but plays fairly. Scenery is amazing in all directions. Staff was very friendly. Easy to park and load/unload.

It was really busy that day they have 2 tournaments so the course was beat up by the time we tee up at 4:14 and still busy the course was full still have a good will be back to play again

First time at this track, one of the most beautiful best kept golf courses I have ever played. Staff was top notch and very professional, practice facilities were excellent and very well kept. This is a country club experience worth experiencing; greens were immaculate and extremely receptive, fairways were well kept, green, narrow in places and tree lined.Easy to find using GPS.Looking forward to returning here in the near future.
Super quick greens for February. Played a shotgun in 4 hours. I thought it made for a great round of golf in February.

In retirement, my parents relocated to VOC (Village Of Oak Creek) in 1980 where my dad (George Hummel) remained a member of Oak Creek CC until his passing in 2009. (He and my mother are memorialized on the course along with other past members with plaques below a beautiful Eagle sculpture between hole #6 and #7.) He was club champion in 80. During those years of their residence and membership, my family and I enjoyed many visits and were able to play OCCC many times including several Invitationals/Member - Guests. I have fond memories of those visits. I look forward to another trip to Sedona soon, and another round of golf at Oak Creek Country Club -- a great track!
This golf course is epic! Well maintained, very green, and set against the beautiful red rocks. The staff is very friendly and professional too. If you can get a lesson from Club Pro Heather, it’s well worth your time.
Simply great. A must play in the summer in Arizona. Greens were are good as any I’ve ever played this time of year. Nice change of pace from the typical Arizona desert golf. A Robert Trent Jones gem.

Course was beautiful, but their sand traps need some love. I know youre not supposed to go in there, but if you do, a little sand would be nice. Dont miss it though. Spectacular views.
Very good course, well maintained and friendly staff. However I left a range finder in golf cart and one of the attendants pocketed the $200 item.. For this reason I would give them just 2 stars

Course is in nice shape. Greens were tricky to read. Management was easy to talk with. Overall a pleasant experience. We rented club and with green fees the cost was reasonable. Nice to see Sammy Davis is still hanging in there.

Golf pricing increases as season gets warmer. Great views of red rocks in Village of Oak Creek. Cost of golf is above average, can be on sale on god now.
Very good golf shop and the course was in v good shape. The only problem was not enough water on course and cart came by twice during a 18 hole round and heat at 100+, I was affected.
The best course in the VOC. Not as easy as others, but a reasonable challenge.

Rotary Club of Sedona Village meets in Redstone Grill 2nd and 4th Thursday from 7:30 to 8:30 am. We like meeting here.
My advice if you are traveling to the Sedona area is to put this course at the top of your list. Turf conditions were excellent, stunning scenery, but most importantly, what sets this course apart is guys working there like one of the rangers, Jim. He was so welcoming and inviting showing my girlfriend and I tremendous respect. I’m sure the management of the course knows what an asset Jim is and the value he adds to the experience. Will definitely go back again!

This is a gem of a course. Great Condition. Strategically difficult with trap placement but very playable and rewarding for accurate aggressive shots. Different lengths of play made for great day with spouse!

Played here yesterday. Course is in great shape and is no joke. Quality tee shots will get you a short iron in your hand on many holes. Take advantage cause there are many holes where a good drive leaves a mid iron in your hand. Dog leg lefts, dog leg rights. Cutting the corner requires carrying a bunker and tall trees if you are long enough. Getting on within 20-25 feet guarantees you nothing. Greens are without a lot of grain and above the hole can get away from you in a hurry.
Great apres-golf location: my husband loves it! Robert Trent Jones course is awesome; 19th hole is great.

Its usually busy for such a area out more residential. The range is not anything spectacular buy has some nice scenery. Average to be honest
