Since it is completely in the open and without shade the sunlight at certain angle will interfere with your eyesight. In a few year after the trees have grown hopefully this problem will be solved.Another down side is the concrete erectors and the wooden fence behind the targets, which guaranteed broken arrows if you miss. Dont sight in your bow here.There are five lanes, two of the targets removed during COVID-19 for social distancing. You can bring your own target and hook it up there if you go with your own group.The nearby childrens playground makes this archery range family friendly. My husband and I could enjoy archery while our children busied themselves at the playground. It is close enough for us to visually supervise the children and yet far enough for us to stop if we see anyone heading toward the archery range. The fence does help in keeping the practice safe.All in all it was a gem for novice.
