How could you not give this place 5 stars? This place is tall and awesome. We enjoyed our time at the Space Needle and had lots of fun viewing the city from this place. Be prepared to wait for a while to get in so dont do like us and try to buy tickets when you get there. Buy them in advanced! I cant stress that enough. You will enjoy this place I promise.

The Space Needle is definitely a place you should visit if youre ever visiting. Its a landmark. Try buying your ticket online beforehand to save yourself some time. There are time slots, so please be aware and make sure you can make it in time. We went during the day and it wasnt as crowded as I thought it would be. Try to walk around outside, lots of photo ops. Have a fun time! Highly recommend!!

Of course it’s a must see! Rich in history. Beautiful view of the water and the downtown cityscape. Social distanced, accessible, we went on Sunday, late morning, and it was not busy. We spent about an hour there. I would have liked more time but we had a flight home to catch.

The best thing to do in Seattle. Amazing views at the lookout point. Since the new renovation in 2017-18, you can go outside with glass barriers with glass seats against them. 3 levels at the top: One with a bar and observing, one with bathrooms, and one with the restaurant with a spinning floor. If youre in Seattle, dont miss out on the Space Needle. There is valet parking right below the needle, but its cheaper if you park across the street in one of the parking lots.

What an awesome attraction! This is by far Seattle’s most iconic location. With stunning views of Seattle, and interesting history, and great dining the Space Needle is one of my favorite visits ever. The tickets are slightly pricey, but it is definitely worth the experience. The elevator is very fun to go up and the place is well maintained. You also may meet awesome people up there to. People taking photos and some just observing the magnificence of Seattle! This is an awesome visit and I’m very happy that I went!

One of the main attractions of Seattle is this space needle. You can go top of this space needle by just paying $35, and it is a good experience. At the entrance of the space needle they arranged a small shopping complex, it is filled with variety of small small items. And in the surrounding of this space needle there are some other place also to visit, like some glass museum, stadiums etc

The iconic Space Needle, its just what you expect - Awesomeness... Built in 1962, Space Needle still holds up.Super clean and spacious for Covid purposes, you get timed entrance, which they enforce. When you walk in you have to stand and spin twice where UV lights kill a bunch of your germs. Then security checks your bag.Once in they take a souvenir photo, then its up the elevator. No talking during the 41 second ride to the top, but the view is breathtaking anyhow. The view from the top is bananas. The lower level rotates and is a glass floor. Feels like this is a must see at least once place for sure. Words dont do it justice

Clean, felt safe, 360-scenic views. It’s very expensive though. Once you’ve spent about 15-20 minutes and taken a bunch of pictures, nothing more to do, which makes the $35+tax general adult admission price pretty steep.

The space needle is a must do activity on a trip to Seattle. There’s a few draw backs, such as the price, and the line. We waited in line for over an hour outside, and then another 45 minutes inside before we ever got to the elevator to go up to the observation deck. The observation deck is very cool. Worth the wait. I also loved seeing all the old photos and memorabilia on the walls while waiting in line. I learned a lot about how it was built and just some fun facts about the space needle. I would definitely skip the cafe in the observation deck, as it’s a tourist trap (expensive basic food/drinks). They have a great gift shop as well, and I still wear my space needle hat weekly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the space needle. The upper deck you can walk outside or sit inside and enjoy the views. The lower deck is a revolving room and you can walk on the glass and see below your feet as it moves. Super cool!Only bad thing was that everything available to eat on upper deck was ridiculously expensive. I paid nearly $15 for a bottle of water and a tiny macaron ice cream sandwich. Save your money for the gift shop below. It’s a great shop.

Ok, I was impressed, both with the views and with the COVID precautions. I’ve traveled to many countries with many towers with views. The Space Needle had the most flexibility with access to the best views without any added expenses and no time limits for how long you could spend absorbing the view. The glass floor was awesome and would be even more fun not during the pandemic, when I would have felt more comfortable lying on the floor and absorbing the view. I’ve been to other towers where you had one minute on a glass floor, so this was a real treat. It was also fantastic to watch the trip up the elevator trip through the glass, both from within the elevator and through the glass floor in the Space Needle. As for the COVID precautions:- UV disinfectant at the door- limited attendance- enforced mask-wearing and social distancing- no talking on the elevatorThe one thing I would like to have seen that they didn’t have was temperature checks, but otherwise...great job.

We had a great and safe experience visiting space needle last week. The security ensured social distancing and no talking in elevators. The charge was $35 to ride up the elevator. Totally worth it even if there were very high rise buildings in the area. We had a great time looking around the beautiful Seattle coast and lake Washington views. The slanted glass walls on top deck and glass floor on rotating deck did make me feel like I would fall which was fun. The rotating deck felt little slow but might work for elderly or toddlers. Think it was around $39 per person basically for a 40 second elevator ride. Theres nothing else that happens. Like thats basically what youre paying for, a ride to the top of this thing. Its pretty alright though, kinda neat being up that high. Theres glass all around, two levels. The glass is thick af and was rather smudged/dirty when we went up. You cant really take pictures other than through the glass. The coolest skyline side to take pictures of was all blocked off. You can only get those pictures if you pay a bunch of money to dine in that blocked off area. So.. plan on spending about 70+ a person if you want the best pictures you can get from up there.Doesnt feel wobbly/unstable or affected by wind for those who might be concerned with that.

Pre COVID-19 Review:The Space Needle is obviously a must see location whenever visiting Seattle. It not only is a great addition to the Seattle skyline but it also provides some of the best views of the city and surrounding Pacific Northwest. Much like any other attraction you will need to purchase tickets to go.Tickets are sold based on the time frame that youd like to go up which helps to make sure it wont be too overcrowded but make sure you get your tickets in advance to avoid missing out. They can range from $27-$37 with cheaper options in the early morning or after sunset. The busiest time to go is during sunset so be sure to buy tickets for at least 45 minutes before sunset. The reason why we recommend that time frame is to account for the time that will be spent waiting in line to get up and get a good spot. Once up there they have an indoor and outdoor section that have floor to ceiling glass that allows you to still see everything. There is also a small shop that sells some basic food and drinks in case youd like something to hold you over while up there. If youd like to sit down for a while there are also a handful of places to sit but they are usually taken up so youll need to be quick to save a spot especially when waiting for sunset. Because there is glass outside it can cause some undesirable reflections and glares when taking photos so just keep that in mind when taking photos. From up here you can also get some great views of Mt Rainier on clearer days which adds even more to the landscape. When we went we didnt get to see the new glass floors put in but hope to be back again to get to see it all again!- @wanderingwithustwo

Once you get to the top, it will literally take your breath away. Not gonna lie, it is super pricey. I do believe they give a Military discount. It is always so crowded. They have a museum inside for you to wander around and look at while youre making your way to the elevators to take you to the top. They have a station where a photographer takes your pictures and you can buy them. Again, super pricey.. Once youre at the top, they food stand that sells drinks. They also have a bathroom. They also have those telescopes for everyone to use.. When you go back down, they have a really great gift shop that has a variety of souvenirs from clothes to mugs to magnets to snacks. Depending on what you decide to buy, prices arent actually half bad. Then they have a huge grass field to where you can lay and enjoy the sun and breathe the crisp clean air. Its amazing. I will always recommend!Only time I Would NOT recommend is if you are afraid of heights. Huge no no if youre afraid of heights.

This is a bucket list visit for sure. After all the years that the Space Needle has been in operation, it still feels like you’re being transported to the future in a Jetsons-like world that we’re always chasing.Breathtaking panoramic views of the emerald city. I could literally stand up here all day and night and just watch. The very top floor gives you outdoor access. It can be more difficult to get pictures up there as the large glass safety panels hold the rain and condensation. You can sneak your camera lens in between the gaps in the glass to get a clear shot, but the best photo ops in my mind are on the lower, rotating level. On the second or lower level, the views are just as breathtaking and the photo ops are better. You’ll notice the difference in the pictures I’ve uploaded as the top level catches the structural elements in the pictures while the second/lower level photos are free from obstruction.Make sure if you’re spending time on the second/lower level that you’re mindful of the rotating floor. If you spend too much time looking down it can trigger motion sickness in those who are susceptible to that. I am not, but even so I did get a little dizziness/vertigo after a while. The staff operating the attraction are all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend going during low season as we did. There was hardly any crowd. Stick to winter and fall visits, as the summer time can get packed and the wait/lines are very long.
