Lovely neighborhood park with multiple trails through a part conifer, part deciduous woos. Ferns and moss abound. There are stairs on the in lines and the paths are all dirt, so not wheelchair accessible but otherwise, lovely.

Love Frink Park. This place not only make you feel like youre out in the middle of nowhere. It is indeed a good trail for running or strolling along. I love being on this trail during Autumn. You can hear and see the birds are singing, the leaves are dazzling, the trees are swerving, the coziness of autumn colors, the sunlight sunshining thru each leaves and the refreshing air breezing thru your face. Ahhhh Nature! Lol

This is a neat “urban oasis” park with hiking trails that criss-cross the hillside. Good spot for stair-climbing. Some trails connect with Leschi Park. I enjoyed accessing the trail system from the top at 31st Ave S & S Jackson St.

It was a lovely park for hanging out or a quick city walk. Not much of a view along the trail, but a quiet walk, we enjoyed to have the trail for ourselves.

It’s a nice park to hike the trails. Be careful of the wet leaves in the winter; they might be slippery. It’s gorgeous in the summer. The trees are lush and green.

Another great park in the middle of Seattle! You can totally forget you are in the middle of a city when youre in there.

This is as natural a pocket of forested environment as you are likely to find in an urban location. Within walking distance of Lake Washington (nearby Lawton Park has a teeny tiny public access, but water views are everywhere around here). Great walking, and near the S Lane St Hillclimb if youre out for exercise. You are bound to see or at least hear wildlife: racoon, rabbit, birds. One couple just leaving was excited about seeing a spotted owl, though based on habitat, the bolder Barred Owl was more likely (they look similar). Great urban birding opportunity if you come early or later in the day! I love this place. Be prepared for hills and sometimes seasonal muddy trails.

Its a woodland ravine in the centre of Seattle. Walking downhill through the heavily forested Frink Park, brings us all the way down the hill to the Washington Lake Boulevard. As you walk down, you meet an occasional jogger. Otherwise its just the jungle and you within the city.

This is a gem hidden in east Seattle. During autumn, the leaves turn. During the winter you can see all the moss and enjoy the crisp air. Im looking forward to Spring and Summer here!!!

Yet another great Seattle park along beautiful Lake Washington. When I was a dog walker, I would bring my favorite golden retriever here to enjoy the lush forests and chase squirrels. Its easy to lose yourself among the trees.

I love the beauty and nature of this park, but you can hear the din of I-90 which distracts from the nature preserve feeling of the park. The trails are rather steep and have many stairs so not a place for those of us with less abilties. Very strenuous conditions.

This is a primitive nice little park connected to Leschi Park. This occupies larger areas. Steep trails but no places to picnic except a very small spot on very top southwest corner lawn. But sprinklers keep it green so even thats not the best area to picnic.Leschi has a large lawn and a few places to sit near the Leschi Market.Frink Park has no restrooms.

Nice walk with steep trails. Inaccessible areas and a brook hidden below a ravine. Needs access into some areas that are waste spaces. I like the natural states but is too difficult for wheelchair people because of narrow steep pathways.Theres no open areas to picnic or even sit because of the plants covering all the ground floor. Frink Park connects to Leschi Park which has a well kept grass area although its a little steep. This a wild area. I would suggest the brook have the culvert removed and brush cleared to its natural state. I could hear the sounds of it but only saw it under a bridge and the ugly metal culvert going under a pathway.Roads are well traveled by bicyclists but some roads have no sidewalks or pathways.
