Great access from the college on 16th and over passed 21st to Delridge
So let me tell you about #484 Graham Stairs. Here I was on my way to my friends house with my friend at 10pm from the 120 bus stop on Delridge. Its been raining all day and the play fields to the base of the stairs is a swamp. We make it across to the stairs and what do we find, but a telephone pole that has been sheered off with live power lines draped across the pathway. We call the police and file a report and get on our way. So we take a detour to get to the other side of the stairs to go down the Graham pedestrian path between 21st and 18th. We get to the bottom of the path and lo and behold, there are 4-5 freshly fallen, large trees that have fallen across the path and onto more power lines. The wood was bone dry and we were clearly the first people to have seen these fallen trees. So I called the police again and tried to file another report. They tell me that there is already a report about that situation and I was like girl, I was the one who filed that report and this is a different freaking spot! Finally, after over an hour of trying to get across 2 blocks we have to admit defeat and call my friends roommate to pick us up.10/10 would visit again10/10 great level of adventure7/10 too many power lines.
Convenient stairway from Puget Ridge to Delridge. Ball fields at bottom at soggy in the winter, walk around on the street to avoid that.
Its a convenient way to traverse west seattle neighborhoods
