New playground is fantastic. Multiple structures for all ages. Lots of slides, ropes, and hills! Public family restroom attached to the community center facing the playground. Beautiful views of downtown Seattle as well. Be aware it does get busy after 4pm on weekdays when all the after school programs get out, if you want or need to avoid crowds. For transportation, there is a First Hill Streetcar stop and a bus stop directly in front of the community center, and a small parking lot hidden at the south end of the center.
We have gatherings here and its a wonderful community center. The only problem is the parking has very limited spaces. The street parking around the community center are mostly full. There is a gym to play basket ball and rooms to do activities. I have not checked out the entire community center, but it is a nice place to visit. A must see.
Great Community Center, has classes for kids and all ages. It has bus stop and street cart right outside the center. The time we were there, a big group of teenagers were there and teenagers do what they do, loud and messing around. But it is nice to have a place for them to hang out.
This is a great community center, in my opinion. really nice gymnasium and the fitness center is a nice option--not a full blown gym by any means though. walking through the place it looks like they have a nice computer lab, teen center and other areas that are always in use. outside there is a very large new park with playground, water structure and basketball court.
We went here last week for toddler time on a rainy day and it turns out they were open all summer when the other toddler gyms had taken a break. We will definitely be back. The playground looked nice but it was raining so we didnt explore that part.
Great urban park. Fun playground equipment. Small soccer field. Spray park in the summer. Great views of the city and Mt. Rainier. Right on the streetcar line (fun adventure for the kiddo).
This is a very nice park and Community Center. We got to see a Vietnamese opera with costumes. Good unusual view of the downtown buildings, the Stadiums and SODO.
Around town is one of the prettiest places to bring your kids to play since it looks clean and have a decent amount of places to play, I see a lot of kids that bring cardbox to go down the hill and have some fun!
Awesome view of downtown/sodo area. Fun new play structures, even my older kids were having fun.
Great place for an East African meal on Thursdays
Pretty clean, great view of Olympics mountains and stadiums. Water spray park made lots of children and parents happy.
Did my World Peace Prayer for SGI USA at this location. Everyone using the center for other things were very respectful.
Beautiful facility but staff has a few things to learn about manners and how to be appropriate with their inquiries.....
Great place to workout and bring kids
It is a good public park with all the facilities right from very young babes to Senior Citizens
New park still in development. Some places to sit and theres a basketball court. Places for family and kids to play. I didnt see a restroom but could be inside a building nearby.
The new kids park is so nicely done it helps connect the community with play areas as well as small soccer field . Great views of downtown and beacon hill.
Amazing. They are friendly my little girl got to watch someone shoot hoops and it was cute watching her imitate him
Wonderful staff, beautiful space and an amazing view! I went to an iftar that was hosted by Wasat for Eid and it was absolutely perfect!
Very nice, clean, easy to get too large meeting area, beautiful views, great playground outside..only negative, not enough parking for large groups.
Clean, quiet, and warm with nice people working. Needed to stop in and do some internet research on my phone along with a desperately needed power outlet. No one has looked at me funny, didnt need to buy anything and there are very comfy couches to sit on while I look to see if any junkyards happen to have a match to my car so I can finally replace the caliper and be able to stop again. Cuz right now I got no breaks and a steadily growing stack of parking tickets.
Ive used this great facility everyday. Especially the fitness room which is hassel free. That being said, Ive recently come into contact with the new employee who is a white man late 50s and the first thing he tells me is its 3 dollars to use the gym now. Is this a new thing for 2018 were already broke enough as it is and heres this guy starting to charge people to get free access to what is all human right. Typical
This is a great place for young people to use there time constructively.
Good for kids
Beautiful clean and bright community center. Many resources, diverse community. No air conditioning.
A good place for community activities and social gatherings. Also for special meetings religious or otherwise.
Attended my grandsons basketball game at Yesler CC, a newer facility, and was impressed by the cleanliness and amenities -- a large, newer model wall mounted TV in a lounge area, fully stocked beverage vending machine, Foosball table outside gym entrance kept kids entertained while they waited for their turn to play, good condition gym floor and working score board, and even an elevator to the under-building parking area.
Nice clean and. Friendly
The volunteers thy are nice excellent service God bless them
Awesome place for the kids to play. Once construction is done there will be a water spray park and great toys for the kids.
Very nice center. Staff helpful. Played Pickleball & easy parking in back.
Great community it has a great structured learning center for the children along with a computer room as well as a wiegh room and a nice basketball court. I would recommend anyone to go check it out.
I was just here briefly to pick up a car, but it seemed like a nice place.
Clean and nice location
Wish I would have started going sooner back a couple years ago. I didnt know it was really free to play basketball here.

Great new park playground with views
Went for a special event, easy to find - clean building - friendly people.
The view is amazing
One of the last things in the area that are truly for the community
Beautiful gym, art room, and computer lab for ages 5 to 100 years old.
Great place to get work done and let your kids play and hangout
I know this as the home of an amazing foam dodgeball league. In my limited experience, the center staff have been very accommodating.
Lots of baskeyball here. Computers, & weights, art room, kitchen & all purpose room.
I love the place.
The news park is amazing
Great community Center for the kids
I came here several weeks ago to use the indoor court but there was some event there. The staff member told me to check the calendar before coming. When I checked yesterday the court was still listed as open on the online calendar but today when I arrived they closed the court for another public event.
I enjoy being the Ethopian share time
