Love this park! Has great views, lots of grassy areas, and the community center has some amazing free programs like toddler gym! Only downside is that the playground (besides the swings which had both baby swings and a swing-chair) is a bit big for younger kids. The steps into and out of the playground are pretty steep, so watch out for that, and even the small slide was too steep for my 16 month old. I totally recommend bringing some bubbles for the grassy areas!
This is an awesome Community center. It has a well maintained facility with a large gym and many other great classes and resources that the community should take advantage of. The staff is amazing and will really work with you to figure out any needs that you have, And they will help you navigate the building with ease.
I come here because Jefferson Park is just an amazing place to be in Seattle, especially on nice days where you can see the city skyline clearly as well as several spots around you. I come to Jefferson Community Center to play pickup Badminton on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6pm-8:30pm. Its a great way to get your exercise in and they have a super easy system to follow. You come in and write your name on an available spot on the white board. As people finish their games, you move up until you play next. You get to meet awesome people, get a workout, and play exciting badminton.
Good amount of parking, good place for kids & adults, lots of outdoor activities
Was there for an official orientation on basketball refereeing. Received what I needed and compensated so it was a success. Other than that, the recreation center is in good physical condition. The programs they offer are diverse and concentrated to the neighborhood youth as well as adults. Recreation centers in Seattle have been a good portal to keeping the community safe as well as providing children a safe haven to develop their future interest.
Love this park
Wish theyd throw a POW WOW, would be perfect place. They need to put up a Totem Pole in honor of our Indigenous Hosts that acknowledges our acknowledgement.
Great place with amazing helpful people!
Nice community center with friendly staff. My first time being here for a meeting but the grounds were well groomed with a nice play area for smaller children.
Really good place at all time of the year, friendly people, really cool water park when it’s really hot outside and also really cool toddler free play when it’s colder
Always friendly staff, smile and greet. Free food after a free volleyball open gym ))
