What a horrible name. Wont do anything for the cause other than make it a joke.
Great working for this amazing job to see the growth that it has become & still coming together.
STUPID name for a venue! Maybe it can be useful for dusting the climate.
Fun concert venue. Stage was easily visible from all seats, with no pillars in the way. Speakers were very loud, mounted above the stage. The bass was murderous. They had staff at each section to help people find their seats. At this venue, they were able to do pyrotechnics and suspend platforms during the show. There was a womens bathroom conveniently right behind my seat section. The bathrooms seem small but plentiful. There were water bottle fillers on the drinking fountains, which is awesome. Be prepared to park in a parking garage a few blocks away. These are cheaper than hourly lots.
The day I visited, it was closed so could not enter inside. Instead, I enjoyed the nearby, resting, watching others, specially kids who were running around and playing with their parents. That was the most peaceful scene and lovely time. The weather was shiny thats why people could enjoy the park near this center. Good place to hang around with kids.
I have seen live wrestling events here in the past, I have been to a few shows here. When it was still known as the Key Arena the new name sucks! Looking forward to Hockey though, other events in the future.
Peaceful & The Heart IS IN the right place
NHL getting new team it’s here the Seattle kracken
Its currently under going a large renovation. As a driver delivering product to this site, its fast paced and pretty hectic at times.
The fountain is nice to cool off when its hot
Its just a big hole in the ground right now. Cant wait to see the final once its back in one piece and ready for shows.
My son and I went to the final event here, Warriors vs Kings exhibition NBA game. The experience was incredible. We easily got back to the players locker room area for autographs too! However, Key Arena is in obvious need of upgrades. Seats were small, dirty, and damn near falling apart and if you site any higher up than row 10 you might get vertigo. Excited to see the renovations they have planned. And please bring back our SONICS!!!
Dumbest name ever. I went here for many Sonics games. Never again
Wasnt open to the public when I was here. We were working on the rebuild. Very cool project. Hope to come see the finished product some day.
Beautiful place when its nice out
Its going to be beautiful!!
Unfortunately the two security guards keep harassing ppl for nitpick reasons.
Wow fun place for events but the parking and exiting is a nightmare. They need there own freeway exit near by.
My all-time favorite medium sized arena. I love its charm. I hope the renovations dont mess it up.
Went to the giants game over the weekend. Upon entering, my boyfriend got his sunscreen confiscated because it was in an aerosol can. He was super panicked because it was a sunny day and he has very fair skin.
Came here to see Blink 182, ATDR, and all American rejects. Despite the volume of the concert, I was still able to get in relatively quickly (like 5 min), didnt have to wait more than 5 min for the bathroom, and I could still see the artists despite being in the cheapest possible seats. That makes it a win in my book. Also it was pretty cool getting out of the concert and being able to see the Space Needle lit up right next to me.
I wonder how much better it will be after renovation! Parking will still be awful tho Im sure?
GURL THIS PLACE IS THE CLOSEST BTS IS GOING TO FOR NORTHWEST ARMYS YET WE DONT HAVE EM :(((
Key Arena is Seattles local indoor all-purpose stadium. It is also nicely located in the middle of Seattle Center. However the seats are a little uncomfortable. Im a small person and I still find it cramped. The food is expensive and not very good which is to be expected at any stadium venue.
Looking forward to a Kraken NHL game here.
Always enjoying to the Key for events. Come early for parking and grab some foods around. There are tons of choices.
The Key arena at Seattle Center is way cool . Theres lots of different things that happen there threw out the year . The keyarena is being rebuilt right now and when its done it should be so sweet. I have seen so many things here before, had so much fun here . This place is amazing . I have so many cool memories being at the keyarena I will never forget .
Fanatic venue with good entertainment equipment. Came here for DOTA TI6. Close to other attractions and venues as well like space needle, science centre, etc. It was amazing! Did u mention the its free wifi in this Seattle Center area?
Love the events there . place is amazonAlways come back
Went to see Adele had a wonderful time. Clean and well ran
Finally got to see Walk Off the Earth! Great old theater with reasonable ticket prices.
Cant speak for sport events, but during concerts the building has horrible acoustics. Unless you are on axis with the main speaker stack like in the expensive floor seats, its like one giant standing wave.
AMAZING!!!!!! TOBY MAC RYAN STEVENSON DANNY GOKEY MANDISA
Had immense fun watching the Game Of Thones live Orchestra. However there is very minimal parking, you end up having the pay around $25 for parking in a privately operated parking lot.
I went to a concert. The seats were comfortable, but not tall person friendly. The bathrooms were easy to find and clean. The stalls were spacious also. Also there are several buses plus the monorail near by. Good location
I heard Rush do there pre show warm up with my ear to the glass door. The venue has so much to offer in walking distance. The concert was my focus and I didnt have time to explore further.
Very easy entry and exits. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained despite the huge crowds. There is lots of paid parking and even free parking as well.
Its still being renovated.
The Panic at the Disco concert was super fun because of the amazing talent of the band, but the Key added to the excitement when the lead singer sailed over the crowd while playing a grand piano. The huge drawback was the merchandise sales area and how easy it was for people to cut into the line and cause others to wait for over an hour for t-shirts. Key staff should do more to make this a smoother experience for concert goers.
Amazing customer service. A friend and I went to a concert here and could not use the seats we purchased because of the small size. However, when we approached an employee about the issue, he called for someone to escort us to the ticket window and they upgraded us to floor seats for free. Fantastic experience.
Overall the Key Arena is a fairly old building that has pretty good Acoustics and lends for a fairly good musical concert. the Smashing Pumpkins did a great job rocking the Key Arena as hard as possible when everyone is stuck in seats and theres no General standing only spots so I would have given the Key Arena a 5 if it wasnt for those damn chairs when youre going to a concert there is no need for chairs unless you want them thrown luckily that didnt happen but who knows maybe thats what we need to do to get them taken out I guess all I can say is you should check it out for yourself and you decide if we should pull those chairs out
A fantastic location in the Seattle District with nearby hotels and parking. Could use some seat upgrades, but a worthwhile spot to watch for your favourite band.
Good venue with Viable parking, and great surroundings. Audio quality isnt top tier, but Queens of the Stone Age definitely were! Still a great atmosphere (especially with the fountain on) and quality place to check out some Incredible bands! Thats where the Key shines. Will definitely be back for more shows here.
Was looking for a place close to the key arena to stay with my daughter for her first concert. Great view and very friendly staff. Rooms are cozy and clean. Will definitely come back when we visit Seattle area.
Easy access and plenty of parking located around the area. Hard to drive out of the area after an event in thick traffic. The seats all have a good view for events however it can get really crowded on the concourse of the stadium. Needs some updating but overall a good experience. Staff is helpful and friendly
Excelent!!
Dont think its finished yet.
Not a bad seat in this Arena! Love watching the Storm here. Great staff decent food, beer is priced higher than I would like but that’s typical!
We fell in love with music all over again in this arena! This venue will stay forever in my mind!
Great place for sports and concerts!
Great show venue. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Ushers are friendly. Lines are always long and acoustics are so-so.
They ran out of food less than halfway through our event. They need to plan better next time. Other than that, it was great!
Amazing place with great ambience
Historic, a legacy for shows, events and local school sports, not the same without the Sonics, so sad without them.
Wonderful venue, every seat has a good view. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food wasnt that good and a little pricey.
Lets go Winnipeg jets. I hope the new stadium looks good Seattle.
Great for concerts and other events!
The Key Arena was once hailed as the jewel of the NBA and then they allowed the team to be ripped from Seattle heart. Like the Phoenix rising, a new and improved arena is coming. NHL Sockeye will triumph in the PNW.
Great project
A great venue for a concert. The security staff was very professional and our lines all moved quickly. If youre coming here, expect not to bring any bottles, food, drinks, etc and have your persons and bags searched. Understandable, but just expect it. Once inside, its a clean and easy to find your seat kind of venue. 4/5 stars because of consession process. $12 for a beer, $5.50 for a small bottle of water or soda.... They really have you over a barrel when it comes to food/drink prices. Other than that, a great venue.
I love going to Key Arena to watch the #1 Seattle Storm play WNBA Basketball but I do miss the Seattle Supersonics who were sold to Oklahoma by Howard Schultz, a local con man and Billionaire owner of Starbucks. We now boycott Starbucks forever while we work to Bring Back Our Sonics!!!
I attended The International here. The food options were varied, wine and beer were available, and the maintenance staff kept the bathrooms clean despite the traffic of the five day event. The grounds are pretty and the lawns outside are great for watching events on the big screen. Public transportation options are nearby and the ticketing system was easy.
Last seen there was A Perfect Circle. Zero tolerance cell phone policy was a requirement of the band but I still got a video of shot off. Sounded great!
It was nice but dated, Im glad that it is getting remodeled and updated.
It needs a lot of upgrades. The food selection isnt verried and corridors too narrow. The good news is the place is getting renovated soon. The building is pretty neat although, dont know if it would qualify for historic preservation.
Clean and the staff was working hard to make the event run smoothly and getting everyone in the arena safely and swiftly.
Good thing they are giving this much needed overhaul
Wow, the usher at aisle 127 was amazing. Went to a Storm game with my wife and 2 year-old son and the usher was so helpful not just to us but everyone. It was great seeing someone who cared about her job had a great positive attitude. She helped make the experience at just our second Storm game so much fun. Go Storm, make it rain!!!
Place is nice. Just enough for a big event
Outdated, truly needs a remodel. Seatting is strictly built for smaller people. The arm rest dont go up and down so if you have hips, sorry you may notice bruises from squeezing in & out of the seat. Im not a very tall person but the rows are so close together there zero leg room my knees hit the seat in front of me.
Saw Panic! At The Disco and they were amazing. However, this review is for Key. The seats are awful! No one over a size 10 and 55 can fit comfortably in those seats. So glad I didnt sit for 90% of the concert.
Went last night and saw my favorite band, Panic! At The Disco. One of the best experiences of my entire life regardless of the place but the Key Arena was very easy to get into and very easy to navigate, the place was packed, but the venue didnt let it taint anyones experience and I highly appreciate it. :)
I love this venue for the large amount of staff present and the versatility of the space for all types of event. It does need updating so it will be being completely renovated in a 2 year project coming soon.
The basketball game was very good, but the floors at the seats were very sticky. I wasnt the only patron to mention this, as I heard others say the same thing. The concession stands were ill equipped for the amount of patrons at that game, and ran out of certain foods such as pretzels. The concession stand lines were also very slow moving as it took an entire played period to get to the order checkout only to be told that they were out of a certain item.
The Key Arena was a good place to see a concert, but the food service was super super super expensive. I would eat and drink before I came into an advent there. I cant believe there were so many people coming in with their $12 beers. It was crazy.
Figure out a better solution for your food and beverage service, please or don’t offer it. There are so many kiosks closed for events and serving beer at the kiosks that are open (maybe two upstairs?) slows everyone down. If come to the show on time find my seat, buy merch and get food (no beer) I miss part of the show. This is not the first time. So lame.
Ive been at Key Arena on a charity tennis match organized by Roger Federer charity foundation & Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Arena is well organized logistically, comfortable armchairs, good clearness view of central part even from the last seats, good acoustics. Arena is based almost in the center of Seattle. Overall, good place.
Seats are extra small and concession stands were not prepared for Seattle Storm crowd. However, the fans make it a great environment and seating makes you feel close to action.
DO NOT get beer from the concession stand! It was sour and horribly expensive. Get it from the Alaskan amber concession, still expensive but not sour. Concessions ran out of food before the end of the event. For a city that wants to be more environmentally friendly, they poured bottles of water and soda into another plastic cup instead of giving you the bottle. The seats are tiny and even at 53 my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. On the positive side, bathrooms were clean.
Old-time home of the Seattle SuperSonics and now hole to the WNBA... Well theyre starting Renovations on a new hockey slash basketball arena that I think they said would take one to two years to finish.
Beautiful place to hangout with friends and family if new to city ... space needle is near by Seattle science center is near by and food court, good place for kids and family to spend a weekend
Such a great acoustic. Only downside is the space between one sit and the next. You have the person next to you elbow to elbow
Smackdown live was awesome. Randy Orton vs John Cena
