I always have a wonderful time visiting this The Grumpy Old Mans Comics, Art & Collectibles book store with my brother. It is a large store, but still has that family owned feel to it. They did free comic book day correct.

Came in today with my boyfriend on a fun comic hunting date.Alan was a total sweetheart, showed us the layout of the store and directed me over to the Image and independent comics like I asked.My boyfriend found two comics he was really excited about, I also found two cool horror comics!My boyfriends a huuuuge comic fan (especially DC) and I love SLG, dark horse and Image we both walked out with books we love.Great selection, friendly owner, and something for everyone!Will definitely be back. ️

WOW! This is a comic collector’s Shangri-La! I can’t even begin to describe all of the things that I found at this shop. Set aside an afternoon to go through it all!

Despite the name, Alan is anything but grumpy! In all truth, hes an extremely personable and friendly artist who also happens to be an incredible repository of comics knowledge and history. Also, hes fun to talk to, which I think accounts for all the great people Ive met that frequent his shop. If youre curious about getting into comics but wary of fandom, this is definitely the place to go to feel comfortable and welcome while getting started. Alan is fantastic at recommending titles that speak to your personal interests and is never pushy. Also, if you subscribe to ongoing titles by starting a pull list, Alans discounts are the best you can find in the state. I cant recommend it enough; Grumpy Old Mans Comics is definitely a gem, made all the more special by Alan and the folks that stop in regularly.

Friendly establishment. 110% attention given to customers. Excellent selection of comic books. For it being a small comic book store, it’s way better than other big comic book stores who’d treat customers like they weren’t there. 10/10 would definitely come back.

I urge you to go to a different shop with friendlier employees.Original review: Drove here, paid for parking, walked to the shop only to find that they had not opened yet. This was at 11:45am and they say they open at 11:00am.Pro tip: Call before you go since their hours are unreliable.

Fun little comic store run by a very passionate guy.

My fiancé and I love visiting this store. Great selection and knowledge, but also great company. We adore the couple who runs it and their dog, too! My guy goes mostly for the books, and I stop by to just say hello!

Great place, great owner. I visited it by chance when an order got mixed up with another comic shop, and I havent gone anywhere else since. Alan has a great love and knowledge of comics, and has made some terrific recommendations since Ive been getting back into the comics scene. Sometimes theres a sweet old dog friend roaming around the shop too.

It is a little hole on the wall with staff that make it worth the stop in. Good selection of books people are looking for plus back issues and a room of long boxes to hunt. Staff really will take the time to help you put and want you to come back

Definitely a great neighborhood comic shop! The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, with recommendations and commentary at the ready. Ill be coming back the next time I need to expand my comic collection.

Was visiting from out of state and decided to stop in. The owner was very rude, sort of a bully, and used homosexual slurs and bigotry discussion with other customers when he did not think I or anyone else could hear him. Very unprofessional and I will NEVER go back if I am in town.
