I have been in there twice with two of my coworkers who are from Taiwan (I needed translation help) because I am going to try my hand at carving myself a signature block. Both times we were in, the owner was super nice and showed us his work and was really excited for me to try carving. He sold me a moderately priced tool kit for stone carving, a reasonably priced stone to practice on and he threw in a small book of examples of his stamp work. He looked over what I had started to sketch for my block and he gave some design tips and tried his hand at sketching a few options. Even for such a relatively small purchase as mine, he was kind and excited. I look forward to going back and showing him my stone when I am done with it and to buy some brushes so that I can play around with some calligraphy.

Aside from featured fine art by mr. Deng, probably the best selection of a PROFESSIONAL grade chinese brushes (at a reasonable price) in Seattle area...
