If you are looking for a nearby beach to visit with a nice view of the ocean and refreshing breeze, this is the place to go. Parking was plenty at night and you could walk down the beach to enjoy the sand in between your toes. It was rather dark since it was night time but the beach felt rather clean. There is also a playground for kids on the opposite side of the pier and a pier you can walk down (Seal Beach Pier)! Plenty of things to do with a lively beach front of small shops and eateries. Be sure to avoid prime times if you want to avoid the crowds and reduce your potential covid exposure. Be safe everyone! Wear a mask

Park nose in at lot or get fined $$.Been using this lot for years. When I arrive, my priority is to pay the parking fee appropriate for the amount of time I spend at Seal Beach. Once paid I should be good, right? In August of 2020 I was fined for parking with the nose of my car out. Whatha?? Upon review, changes are made in 2019. As a non resident, how am I to know?? There are signs, I see after the fact. But from my position parked that day, signs were posted to the right towards the pier and behind me above at about 6 feet or higher.I parked, paid at kiosk, & went left to the beach. I am 51. I didnt feel like I had to do a 360 up & down or left to right just to update myself on a violations. I didnt think parking nose out was a violation?? I understand the city may have reason for this citation but the city gets a big fat BOO for tiny signage.

This is a nice very small park up at the top of the seal Beach Pier at the end of main Street where it meets ocean avenue or maybe its ocean boulevard. Not sure! Good place for a little dog walk. There are some nice benches to sit on, some in the sun and some in the shade. there are no toys or play equipment here its just basically a green space with benches and trees and a lovely view of the ocean.

Great place to see the sunset! A walk to the park to see the day end followed by dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. Very dog friendly park except for the pier. Local PD stationed at the pier so don’t even think about walking on the pier with your dog. Also a great place to watch Long Beach fireworks in July without getting to close to the noise.

Right at the foot of the popular Seal Beach Pier. Great place to meet other dog owners whom frequent this spot daily. You can stroll down the picturesque and quaint Main Street that the New York Times names as Southern Californias hidden gem of beach towns. Though many original bungalow cottage homes have morphed into million dollar custom beach houses, Main Street has retained its charm for more than a half century. World travelers have begun to discover Seal Beach. You should too. ~Bob

Great place to come watch the sun set. There are lots of great restaurants to walk to for dinner just across the street. And of course the Seal Beach Pier is right there, perfect for a sunset stroll. But there arent many benches in the park. If you like to sit down, bring your own beach chairs, especially on weekends.

We were visiting from out of state, came to seal beach to get a break away from Disneyland for a few hours. Came to eat and shop and enjoy the beach. I parked in what I thought was a friendly free beach parking lot. I did not see any signs or anything. I should have known better! Nothing is free in California. After spending $100 on lunch and time with family We came back to the car and had a citation for $50 on the car. Ruined my day! I will never come back to seal beach. The one memory I will remember from this try trip is the damn ticket I got from seal beach. It’s not like I didn’t already spend a fortune to bring the fam to Disney why not add on an extra $50. Bitter taste!
