Not your typical bowling alley. Very modern and fresh and clean. Really great remodeling job from its former incarnation. Doing a great job of sanitizing and maintaining social distancing with COVID. Friendly staff the many times we have gone. Mini golf is very cheap and super fun, kids love it! Arcade has a lot to choose from. Weve whiled away many an hour on the machines there. Cosmic bowling is very fun. Food is very good at the snack bar. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is the pricing of the arcade and bowling. $30 an hour to bowl is pretty high. My grandfather was visiting from Tennessee and was floored at the price. He is in a bowling league in TN and prices there are much much lower. The arcade is super high priced. You can go through $100 pretty quickly just in the arcade alone. Add bowling and mini golf for a family of 4 and say goodbye to $150 easy. 8th

What a wonderful experience! We bowled in the boutique section. Very clean facility. Even the rental shoes were new. The staff were all very friendly. Oh, and don’t forget to order the fresh cut fries. One delicious basket will feed four. We will be going back!

It was great... Havent bowled in yrs and my guy treated me last night to it and we had a blast.Along with that it was like we were kids again n like when we first met and were dating yrs ago.Im hoping that maybe we can do this again next WK or the wk after once bills are paid and have a couple bucks.

This place was awesome. Me and my family was visiting from out of state and decided to check this place out a few days ago. And the guy at the front desk who rung us up was so nice and accommodating. He was really funny as well. He helped us choose the right package deal for our family. And they even had bowling shoes along with a little ramp for the littlest member of our family which was awesome. I really wish I could have remembered his name because he deserves 5 stars for his customer service alone. My only con is one of the security guards was a bit over baring. He came to our table to tell my teen son that he had stepped into the bowling lane and to be careful because it was oily. My son told him okay. And he kept talking going on and on about how he saw him do it more then once and he should change his shoes. I asked my son did his shoes feel oily he said no. But Mr. Robo cop didnt want to leave. After a few minutes and me telling more then once that my son was fine he finally walked away. But other then that no complaints at all. I would totally recommend this place.

Nice place, good rates. Did the boutique bowl for $40 per hour. Not bad for a family of 5. Kids shoes are fee, bonus!

Really great place. The employees were so nice. The mini golf was so cute and I loved the theme. The prices for the arcade are incredibly reasonable as well. The facility looks clean and neat. Definitely recommend it as one of the best bowling and mini golf places in the area :)

It was great service, my niece had her birthday party there and the attendant was very good and nice. Food and drinks were good as well.

I always have a blast qhen i go there. The Octoberfest beer is really good. They actually clean the lanes after a party of people leaves. They are very clean i like that alot. The music is chill. The part that they added on for more lanes looks really cool. They have have sports playing music videos playing. They never disappoint when i go. Thank you. I always have a blast. Plus everyone is super nice

We played mini golf and in the game room. Golfing was cute but overpriced. I bought a half price card at Get my Perks that advertised 2 rounds of golf only to arrive and find out it had to be played by the same person. Nowhere was that stipulation stated, so needless to say I had to buy additional rounds so my child did not have to play alone. It was definitely overrated according to the website. Drove almost an hour to get there and was not worth the drive whatsoever. Wish I had opted for Laheys instead.

Its a nice place to go for something to do. I love the arcade and i always loved bowling and the golf is cool.

I used to go here all the time when I was younger. Theyve added a new amazing arcade. Updated their menu. Remodeled the entire interior and overhauled everything inside. If youre from the area or visiting, do yourself a favor and visit this location. Fun for everyone in the family at a very affordable price.

Experience was great and place was clean. The family bathroom is the cleanest I have ever seen! The bowling area was a bit overcrowded but everyone seemed to be respectful. However, $35 for 1 adult and 2 kids for 1 hour needs to be reviewed. We were only able to get 1.5 games in before the machine stopped us from continuing. My daughter was upset she couldn’t finish her game. This is something else that needs to be reviewed. You should be able to finish what you start.

We just had our sons 5th Party at Idle Hours North and it was fantastic- well run, the recently totally upgraded facility is very clean and well run. The food was even fantastic- excellent homemade Pizza and a lot of great new offerings from their chef. Party was an excellent value compared to other birthday party venues. Our staff Party helpers Allison & Olivia were very attentive- we didnt have to do a thing but have fun with the kids! Definitely highly recommended- not your ordinary Bowling alley to say the least!

Holy cow! If you havent been here in a while, definitely give it a try!I havent been bowling since you could smoke in the building. I went recently, and had a blast.The place is nicely renovated, clean, modern, and the staff was very friendly.They have activities for kids parties, an arcade, and a private area you can rent for adult gatherings.A fantastic resource for a cheap night out!

Great prices good music, games and drinks

Very epic, so epic. I have been there a couple of times with my family living in Dickson City/Blakely, PA and we went Bowling together. We had a great time and the next time I come back there, I also expect to take a tour through the Indoor Golf Course there soon the next time I come back to visit my family in Scranton.Its also better than going to New York City too!

This place is great and construction came out beautifully. Staff is ignorant and the card machine for arcade trips you off 20 credits... so be careful... other then that it is still a nice place to go and have fun.

The lanes are good but the new seating is only for 6 people and the way the chairs turn makes it difficult for people to get in and out of. They have a fancy scoreboard with a bit of a learning curve to figure out. I liked the fact that when my grandson got up to bowl that the bumper rails only went up for him. We went on a Wednesday night which was teenagers who dont have a clue about proper bowling etiquette and just grab a ball and bowl no matter who else wants to. So yeah some improvements but not sure its worth the extra miles.

We had a really good time and I really liked touch screen system it allows bumpers to automatically come up for kids

Idle Lanes is a nice little bowling Alley. The mini golf is cool to have but could use some more obstacles. The arcade is one of the best features about Idle Lanes. It has a decent assortment of games and is very clean. Will be going back for sure.

Under construction, its open 9 an to midnight. The prices are great for kids lanes were already set up for kids with bumpers balls and a dragon ramp. Computer scores were a little off but the kids could not have cared less. Serious bowlers can adjust the score thru the computer. The arcade was clean and they enjoyed it. Grandparents had to learn how to put credits into a credit card ..but its doable. Had a really good morning.

This place is wayyyy overpriced. They charge money for water, yes a pitcher of water. Cafe staff was very rude, but other workers were friendly. I’m very disappointed in my experience here. It’s very unfortunate.

Havent been here in years, place is still awesome

Even though it is under going construction and may be a bit confusing it is great service. We had 5 of us it was around 40 for 2 games and shoe rentals but it was so much fun you can choose to have bumpers for some players and after their turn they go down for the next person. You can take a picture of yourself and depending on how you bowl it will make funny faces with funny mouths etc. The staff was great asking if they can do anything or if we needed help. The tray of pizza was excellent and fed us all two adults two teenage boys and my younger daughter. The blacklight mini golf is 9 holes and fun. Definitely worth checking out.

A very nice, clean, family friendly bowling alley which includes a full-menu kitchen for snacks and drinking. They also sport an arcade and mini golf course for kids or family, and a bar for the adults.

Sunday funday with my sister & nephews- SO MUCH FUN!! arcade was bigger than expected, shouldve put more money on the game card, lol... The awesome private room we noticed on our way out had us planning our next party!!

We went to play on fathers day and have fun. We were met with rudeness, nothing open and many things not fully working as they are intended to. We went to play a game, the scores werent right. Next we went to get a refund when we went to leave after 2 minutes of playing and did not get the full money back cause the kids bowled one ball. There was one bathroom for the whole place and I understand cause the remodel but still we waited 15 minutes to go. Last is that there was no food and drinks expect one vending machine with sodas. Safe to say we arent going back anytime soon.

Open 24 hours good place good costumer service

Idle Hours staff can be pretty pushy to get you out of your lane as soon as your paid time has expired. However, Idle Hours is one of the best bowling Lanes in the area. Theyre investing a lot of money in renovations and its really looking great.

Everything was very nice, enjoyed my time in the arcade although they had closed the laser tag vr thing by the time i was ready to use it. thought there was a real hologram but there wasnt. got some good prizes, would recommend and would go again!

We did the glow mini golf, and its adorable. For five dollars, you cant really beat it. The kids had a blast! All under water themed, and everything is under a black light. The courses are cute and somewhat challenging, so its nice if youre the competitive type. We live locally, so we also like to stop and go bowling. They have a bar inside for the adults, and also a restaurant with a nice selection of different bar foods. Their milkshakes are pretty good, and their French fries are some of the best. If you are visiting, or just havent gone here yet, stop by, you wont be disappointed.

Loved what they did with the place. The kids and I loved the arcade.

With the new renovations it looks really nice! A good amount of lanes, plus a separate section if youre more for a serious game only for a couple extra dollars. (We stuck with the normal lanes though) They also redid the arcade and food area. I lowkey miss the booths but they now deliver the food to your lane. And the arcade is awesome! They have a VR setup that you can use and its reasonably priced. 2 people was only 13 and there is a person always standing by if you need any help. They added a prize section and all your tickets and credits get saved on a card so you never have to worry about wasting them.

Sunday special from 9-1 with 3.75 open play! Right. As a first timer there with my 2 children, service was terrible from the front desk staff. But great service for the fundraiser with wnep there, gotta look good! Were told we can only play for 1 hr. due to 5 lane bday reservation at 1130 and fundraiser event.. Um, ok defeats the Sunday special. How was I to know no-one else can bowl. Not only was our first game cut short and right into the 2nd, but Im told to leave to another lane at 1126 to continue game just to find out 5 lane reservation isnt until noon. No apologies, nothing. We had to leave early. The staff thinks its ok to show disrespect in front of children and ruin family fun? Guess its not what you know but who you know there. Unreal. Going higher up.

Average pricing, nice lanes. Had a restaurant/bar for sure down eating. Arcade with small claw machines a pinball machine, and a few video games. Miniature golf is neat. They are remodeling at this time to put in Dave & Buster type games where they just took out the pool tables. They will also be remodeling and making larger the kitchen and seating area.

Great arcade and they have indoor mini-golf too for those cold winter days.

Staff was GREAT! Treated us well for our group. Kitchen was awesome. Staff were very accommodating. Prices were extremely reasonable. The place is very clean, even during their remodeling. Thanks for the fabulous time!

Very friendly staff. They worked with us to get 2 lanes together for our large crowd. Fun atmosphere, but I would have loved to see a huge food court for is hungry bowlers. We had a lot of kids with us and I know I would have bought food if it was offered.
