Its Beautiful and very Peaceful. Very Family oriented. Plus You can walk or jog around the Park /Lake one time and get a full workout.Grab a fishing pole because theres plenty of fish in the pond (not the dating app LOL).They also have lots of sporting events held there as well.Do you have a Dog no problem. They have the Best Dog Park I have ever seen. And I dont have a Dog . Its an Awesome Park to go to any day if the week.

First time coming here. Area is maintained & this mini lake is huge. Lots of room to fish, go for a run or talk an easy walk. Couple folks were even on rollerblades cruising around. Has a nice play area for children too. There was a hobo sleeping on top of one of the benches when we first arrived. He stayed there for a couple hours watching my family fish & eventually left.

Good safe park. Let our dogs run free on south side of Chaparral.

Beautiful park,large and spacious. Man made lake, aquatic center and workout stations. Basketball court, soccer field and a volleyball court. Really cool two way walkway/ biking lanes. Ducks,fish and birds oh my! You can actually fish at the lake with a fishing license. Great playground and plenty of space to run around.

This is one of our favorite parks...there is a carousel, a great train ride around the entire park, 2 playgrounds, tons of grass to run around or have a picnic in, a museum with a tour through real train cars, and an amazing building dedicated to model trains with themed sections, touch-activated attractions, and awesome additions for the holidays.

Absolutely Lovely Place. Wonderful Vista Views of Man-made Lakes and Grassy Knowls. Climbing Structures for Kids of all ages and even a really nice skate park hidden away near the south end of it. It goes on for a few miles along Hayden south from Chaparral. If youre in downtown Scottsdale you should go visit. Its one of the nicest Quietest spots in the Area. And a great place to meet great people. Dog people are the best people and the dog park there is the nicest in the city.LoveNAZ Always,The Doctor

Did some fishing but usual peaceful atmosphere wasnt there today...reconstruction happening with sidewalks I believe. Plus the ponds were hella dirty. Dead catfish everywhere.

Beautiful park with different fields for different sports to be played, a fantastic pond with plenty of ducks and geese, and great perimeter walking area.

While this is a nice park, it does have a few annoyances such as persistent construction and a lack of shaded areas. But, the dog park is a good one and has separate areas for active and passive pups. The main attraction is the baseball complex which is nearly pristine.

Great park to enjoy a morning or evening walk or bike ride. Usually busy but plenty of room for everyone. Clean and well cared for grounds. Highly recommend.

My kid loves the children playground there. We love strolling around the lake. Right now is the best time to go for jogging, playing or just sitting an watching the nature. Nice place.

Beautiful park in the middle of the city of Scottsdale. The landscaping is gorgeous and there are always people walking their dogs and enjoying the outdoors. Parking can be a challenge but its worth the wait.

We come here for the dog park located near the north end. It is one of my favorites that weve been to! They have two seperate off leash areas, one for passive and one for active dogs.and there is a TON of space for pur pupper to run around. There are normally a lot of other dogs here as well of all sizes!

It was not packed at all people social distancing on the walking paths. The dog area mostly empty. Pool was closed and the south walking path is under construction 11/18/20

This park is awesome!!..the fishing is great the trout are a little finicky but worth the chase!..great park for a birthday or just a relaxing day fishing...

Softball fields are average at best. They need to be leveled. Park is nice and is a good place to walk your dog.

Got these great pics in one evening’s visit. came here to feed the duckies with our little ones. Avoided “germ city” aka the playground, But, kids still had a blast riding their scooters on the trail around the lake. Stopped a few times, fed the ducks, watched fishers fish & said hi to all the pets being walked. Clean, Great place, great views, great location.

Great park with nice views from any angle. If you have kids from ages 2 to 10, then is a great playground for your kids. This park has appropriate size monkey bars and slides for kids. It also has a carousel swing. Not many parks have this type of swing for kids.

This is one of the best parks located in Scottsdale off of Chaparral and Hayden. The scenery and atmosphere makes you feel energized to partake on the workout stations along the path that interconnects with other parks along Hayden Road.

Well there that it made it uncomfortable that there were so many homeless people in the park that they had to weld shut the bathrooms. We had a good time they have a basketball court that have a lake with ducks that have a handball court they have a park for the children with swing a seesaws and they have a soccer field that has an arena around it with a stand and yet theres so many homeless people that no one can use the bathroom in the park without using a tree so that makes the Points bad but everything else there is just so many resources that are so good if we could just figure out what to do with the homeless

Great park to hang out if youre active this park is constantly moving always people coming and going located close to places you can purchase picnic items and drinks

The park was clean and very professional. Had a blast with my sister and her friends. Wasnt lucky enough to catch a live fish, but its ok. The ducks were amazing. They came really close to me. One tried to eat a chip right out my hand!!! I recommend everybody to come and have a blast with their friends, family, and kids. But remember, if a fish pulls on your rod, pull back. You may be lucky to get one. A live one at that

Great place to take your dog(s). The people are friendly but everyone keeps to themselves. Very clean.

Nice park! I had an hour to spend here and I was definitely pleased. Plenty of amenities for all and it truly makes for a wonderful family park. Did a bit of fishing as was surprised as to how active the fish were during the time I was there. Didnt land anything to write home about during my hour visit but I did get a few bites from the trout on my spinner and caught a couple small Bluegill. Be back when Im in the area.

First time here and my kiddos LOVED this place. There is a lake they can watch the ducks, a playground with everything from slides to swings to a different version of merry-go-round to hand-eye coordination monkey bars. There are plenty of benches and grills with picnic tables and a basketball court, volleyball nets. Dog friendly. You can do almost anything here!!

Had drove past a few times and didnt think much of it, but as I was driving by during sense I immediately pulled over because I was so drawn to the beautiful reflections on the water. Best time to visit, not too crowded either!

As long as Ive lived in Phx its the first time Ive visited this park lucky are the people who live just steps away I would love to live there in those apts.i dont know the name of them but they look nice and the park is right there the ducks are beautiful lots of poo. But other than that the park is clean fishing boating and just looking it has it all for a park in the middle of the city. Ill be visiting there again lords will. Chaparral park you rock

During a very windy evening there was a team practicing and a few others. Its a nice park but the wind was too much.

Its a beautiful park. Many people came here for jogging, walking, playing basketball, volleyball, bbq, children playground, etc. You may see wildlife gooses, birds, ducks...Parking is free, there is restroom at the park. I was so disappointed that the lake is not clean enough!

I have friends that really like eating here, so I go. I am not a fan of Chicago pizza. Not because of the taste or the ingredients, or spices. I am not a fan of the toppings under the cheese. I think it is a dumb reason, but my reason none the less. The wings are very good and other appetizers are great as well. If you like Chicago style pizza - you will really like this place.

It has a great ark for the kids. A lovely duck park. An exercising walk path with equipment to work out on and a path for people to walk their dogs. It has tables for celebrations of all kinds and clean bathrooms with actual soap to wash your hands in with plenty of toilet paper. This park is amazing.

Parks was beautiful and clean lots of space and stuff for kids, a picnic, or just a walk. Pond is filthy though and full of dead fish so stay away from there or youll get a nose full. It needs fish and game attention.

Beautiful location.. it has lake and lot of ducks. Ppl do fishing here. Nice play area.Lot of ppl come here for evening walk. But sadly during panademic covid no one wears mask here. Govt should make masks mandatory for ppl entering park.

Nice park. If you go to participate in a Run or Walk go early because parking is a bit limited on Saturdays due to youth soccer games. Good energy place. Lots of kind people enjoying the loop around the water.

I take my boys here to play basketball. Its not typically crowded so they have plenty of space for a fun game. During winter months when it gets dark early the court is not well lit. There is usually a light or two out over the court that does not work. It doesnt bother my teen and tween sons but it would be nice if they worked well.

Its a nice park. There is fishing. Rainbow trout, largemouth bass, channel catfish, and more. Lots of ducks, geese and some cranes. Lots of seatings. You can also barbeque here. The trail connects both north and south to other parks. Makes for great biking.

Gorgeous and wil manicured. Great dog park at one end and a lake at the other.

Absolutely lovely cafe. We had the Sunday dinner specials. I had roast turkey and my spouse pork roast. Both with all the fixings. Good food at a great price. Service felt like family. We will be back :-)

Very beautiful park. We had a birthday party for a one year old. There were kids of all ages enjoying themselves . Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and beef. People brought salads. A great day.

Amazing park! Just spent an hour with my little one on the playground - so many different types of equipment. The tandem swing was particularly fun for me and my daughter. Beautiful lake, wonderful walking trails, such a nice park all around.

The park has really go down hill if you want to fish. And the homeless number have increased.
