Starting to look run down now. Was surprised actually i believe the park is closeing for good in about 6 yrs. That is sad.
Its a nice place to live. Unfortunately, it will be closing in 2026 at the latest since that is when the SRPMIC lease will be expiring and the Indians will be getting their land back.
Very nice place to live. Grandma can live comfortably, I dont want her to worry about anything. .
My visit was brief but enjoyable. Very clean park.
The people that live there are nice but management sucks and its sad that the place is closing in 6 years
Nice community, but everyone stays to themselves
One of the worst places I have ever lived! They do not have a scale that goes low enough, can I give negative two stars? The management is the worst, the maintenance dept has no leadership or guidance. They lie through thier teeth when renting a space from them and smile at you as they will try to take you for everything they can. I am being nice about my opinion of this place. The Indian Nation has made a wise choice in electing to not renew the lease on this property. I just feel sorry for the residents who poured their life savings into a home to retire in ; just to be told that they must move their mobile home and start over somewhere else! What a fiasco....Linda (mgr) you should be ashamed of yourself!
5 Stars... because of the PEOPLE...that live here! The PEOPLE MAKE this place!During the winter they have a lot to do when the snowbirds are here. They have breakfast on Saturday, Friday night dinners. Neighbors have get togethers, to play cards, or games.
Nice park, but it will be closing in 4 to 5 yrs. from what I understand if you dont take yourHm, they are offering 10,000. For it., But their still selling homes in there.
Great place to live some of the snow birds are not the best ppl in the world. But overall I loved it here.
It was great! I enjoyed it! Leon Maxwell....
Its a very nice place for one to make home of.
Would not live anywhere else.
Nice community 55+ improvements on the way!
Its where I have lived for twenty eight years. It is a great location to get to anywhere fast.
Its a nice retirement mobile home community with clean properties and wide roads.
Good
Do not buy a there They have little group of residence that get any benefits. Dont trust real estate agent they all work as a team. Because theyre on the Indian reservation you cant get any help from Scottsdale you have to go to Indian reservation to you kind of between youre stuck to get help and they know that. They do not check on elderly they take advantage of their vulnerability. I was younger and many called me about u such as High utility bills yet Afraid to fight. Because its on reservation land is hard to fight any thing and they know this. I wasnt able to use any Scottsdale services and it was so frustrating to see what was happening yet could get no help from City. They are in a win win situation there and its really sad that in the United States of America its not t person on the street asking for help we need to fear. Its scandalous people like ones in this community that look good, say the right words, yet turn your head they stab you in the back. There are many nice people that live there yet its not worth the hassle. You own the home yet will never have freedom from their rules or the high rent abd utilities you pay, and I goes up every year. I would suggest of you want this type place get a place that is not located on Indian reservation land where you able to utilize City of Scottsdale for any problems. This place is solely Indian Reservation land absolutely no help from City of Scottsdale. I need had black mold and had to walk away leave everything. They resold my home as is, which never should never happened. It should have been torn down . Black mold spreads. Since I finally got a diagnosis my family is behind me and shocked at what these people will do to make money. I am not a one to write bad review, however i place
A beautiful, mobile home community.
I visited the most beautiful woman here I cant believe shes 55 but those are the rules
Ghetto. front office personnel rude arrogant and quite mean spirited .
Love it!
Love the pool area and club house, friendly quiet community
A 55 plus, age restricted mobile home community. Very clean and well taken care of. In Scottsdale, near anything you desire.
Beautiful place. Its a shame they will be closing.
Nice place with a nice pool. Some really surprisingly nice units in here too.
Update June 2020:SMV has lost a class action suit for not making new buyers aware that the lease is up. Im saddened thinking of all the folks that have to move, in the worst possible time of their lives. So much for retirement! Dont rent here, dont buy here, managers are a mother and daughter team from hell. Its supposed to be 55+ but the managers grandson works maintenance and lives in one of the spaces, but My son stayed for a week and I got a notice to vacate for unregistered guests! Total double standard. I wasted my time and money living here, all I left with was a bad taste in my mouth. (did I mention the water is toxic from a 99 year old well??)January 2016:I went to the park to visit a friend and was a little confused by the space numbers, fortunately the maintenance man, Christopher, happened to be driving by and helped me get to where I needed to be! He even came prepared with a map! He was very friendly, very helpful and the park is beautifully maintained.
The manager is very rude has attitude she acts snoody as if she is better then u
The Master Property is attractively planned-having many intimate/neighbor friendly-dead end/looped and gently winding roadways/streets. This community was also developed with inviting /Public Areas, indoor group spaces, recreational areas. Notably, the Property as a whole has been well kept and continues to be proactively maintained, efficiently managed/operated with regular group events-clear notifications visible from your vehicle upon your casual entry into the park. I can honestly say that it is a warm, inviting community and it radiates that feeling to even the most casual visitors (I feel in large part due to the high standard that home owners are held to in the individual upkeep and maintenance of their homes/lots overall environment and upkeep of ts tidy visual appeal. This property continues to be a stand out for having their own on property maintenance personnel available 24/7 for routine tasks or the odd urgent issue that might require expert attention. Due to the high level of attention, quality and consistency with which this park is kept and operated that I rate it so highly.
Im concerned. Being on the Salt River Indian Reservation and its LONG term lease ending in 8 years. (2026) Very nice place, but!
I live there. Love it.
If you are looking for a place to live in the Tempe or Scottsdale area with a quiet retirement this would be the idea place. It is designed for those 55 or older who like the friendly friendship of other seniors.
Comphy to me no drama nor thieves
Nice people living there
THE TRUTH
Nice place, very quaint and cozy
Some of the nicest people in the world!
Nice retirement community with lots of activities. Great neighborhood to move to if you want to get involved the the activities and meet other retirees.
Clean grounds, friendly staff and neighbors, nice pool, decently spaced lots, etc.
Lived here 20+ years. Great little community and mostly good people.
There visiting friends who live there. No complaints here
I give its place zero stars. From day one the maintenance boy has been a complete juvinial delenquent . I caught him throwing rocks at my newtruck on 4 different times on my way to work. Fromthe second week someone marked the side of THETRUCK with some kind of crayon. I told the police butthey got to them first with some kind of story so when I tried to tell them whats going on I was dismissed as some kind of trouble MAKER I fixed this place up so I could save for a house now all I want to do is to sell out leave and live a good life!
Great mobile home park. Quiet, safe and has a great guard gate that monitors entry.
Um they’re secretive and rude and treat their residents like straight poop
Its a mobile home park. Old people. Yappy dogs. Nothing surprising.
