Kick off of the Scottsdale Culinary Festival. The bites were delicious, the drinks were flowing the event space was beautiful and the bond girls were golden. I was happy to see many of the food bites were gluten free. Many events I am so limited. Not at this one.

Beautiful venue, acoustics are fantastic. Seats were quite comfy and you don’t feel like you are smooshed to the people next to you.Do be thoughtful of the fact that there are a number of stairs involved if you are sitting close to the stage. I would also add that if you want to park in the closest ramp, you will want to arrive at least an hour before the show starts to ensure a spot.

One of my favorite venues! The jewel of Old Town Scottsdale! I have enjoyed every visit whether a concert, play or art exhibit. Never miss an opportunity to enjoy my favorite performances. Great place to bring out of town family as well.

Tonights performance by Jeffrey Siegel a piano virtuoso was wonderfully entertaining. He spoke to the audience about the pieces of music from Scandinavian countries and Russia that he was going to play and we loved it. Its a great place to hear music performed. There is a coffee bar and gift shop with great people behind the counter to serve you. A great evening out.

Spent a great evening listening to some great local music here. Eric Ramsey and Smokestack Lightning were both on point! Great venue & sound. Always support your local musicians & music venues

This place is amazing for so may reasons. Attend a performance here, visit the store, when Scottsdale has an activity in the front of the building, its opened up so you can see the inside. The parking garage is close and Ive stopped at the restaurants around the center for lunch or dinner. Its a very convenient location.

Voltage was amazing!! The venue itself was very easy to get to. The staff to assist patrons were kind, friendly and helpful. First visit but wont be my last!! An awesome night!!

We saw Rufus Wainwright tonight and it was a fabulous show. All the staff (most I believe volunteer) were extremely helpful and friendly. The venues sound was superb and we were impressed with the courteous exit strategy displayed by the patrons. Always unfortunate however when many people decide they are going to leave the concert BEFORE its actually over. This is a distraction to all other paying guests and really should be avoided.... especially when you have to squeeze by others in order to leave. There were also major line ups for the washrooms so were thinking they didnt have enough of them. Overall an extremely enjoyable experience.

Beautiful place. They definitely know how to put on an event. Went to the art auction, Starry Nights. The food was divine, the service impeccable, and the event dressed to the nines. Magnifique!

We saw such a fun show here in the small theater. Excellent facility, easy and free parking, which is a plus!

Great venue for concerts! Good sounding room and comfortable seating. Close to hotels for people like us coming in from out of town! Not a bad seat in the house!

The facility was awesome. The youth symphony was breathtaking and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I will invite more friends in the future.

I liked this venue. Close, free parking options and spacious lobby. Every seat is a good one. Though beware if you struggle with walking as there are lots of steps down to your seat if youre up close. Cute gift shop to pass the time.

Excellent Theatre ... I dont think any seats are bad here ..: Great comedy ballet performances .... Before you realize it you are watching a ballet ... Great dancers

Enjoyed a great cello and piano classical concert. For a larger venue the sound was exceptional.

Had been to Thaikuddam bridge concert. The atmosphere was electric and loved the sound in the auditorium! Well designed auditorium I must say!

Acoustics are terrible. Couldnt hear the words to the songs because instruments were too loud. The second act was somewhat better but it made for a disappointing evening. Sugar Thieves are a great grpup

I love this venue. They always have the best acts and its small enough to still feel intimate and special every time I go. The lineup for this season is spectacular for solo artists but a little light in pretty much every other category. Staff is friendly.

Ive never been to a bad performance here. Their programming is top notch! Sightlines can be a bit of a problem from the sides of the main theater, but thats forgivable. The place is always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The box office staff is courteous and efficient - cant say that about some other venues in town.

Went to the Virginia G. Piper Theayer there fir the Mary Chapin Carpenter and Shawn Colvin concert. Very nice venue, smaller and comfortable.

I have enjoyed numerous events at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. With its central location in South Scottsdale, a delightful dinner before or after a concert, makes the whole evening more special. Soon the construction underway at the Scottsdale Mall will finally be completed, then the whole area will be a wonderful showcase of charming Old Town Scottsdale.

Scottsdale Center for the Arts offers varied and interesting entertainment for all levels of sophistication. Weve seen the Phoenix Symphony and the Star Wars movie at the same time. Great stuff and worth the price of admission.

The venue was great. The entire Center was clean, organized, and well designed. The Phoenix Youth Symphony did an outstanding job performing here.

Nice little Auditorium which holds a little over 800 people. I only wish they had cup holders for your drinks :-).

Cool building. Lots of great programs. The entire Civic Center area is a beautiful park with many water features and sculptures. If you havent seen it you should go.

Contemporary venue. Good acoustics. Lots of food places nearby. Free parking on the street or in the adjacent parking structure. Los Olivos Restaurant, a landmark, is right next door.

BEAUTIFUL, quiet and relaxing summer event. all seats perfect view, Restaurants great for girls night, boys parties and couples. Its great to have a place that has retained its quiet simplistic location. Nothing against children, but to be good parents, need a breather to remember yourselves. Then you can evaluate what and how to give when you return home....

Scottsdale has a real gem in the heart of downtown. Besides having great performances there are many opportunities to enjoy the fresh air and civic center park. There is the opportunity to restrict access and have paid festivals like Brazil day and there is many free events happening like Sunday Afair starting in January. There also is a gift shop with many unique items.

The Stage 2 area is set up with the leftover seats from when the main theatre was redecorated. Seats were very low and not set up well for the view of the performance.

Very nice performances and a world class artistic talent come together in Scottsdale. The shows are reasonable priced, just off the Old Town Scottsdale blocks, with free parking. What more could you ask? Eat a bit, look around, attend a show. The perfect way to spend an afternoon or evening.

Very cool venue. Interesting architecture outside, in the lobby and in the theater. The theater is tiered nicely to hold perhaps 700 or so. The structure creates very good viewing positions from every spot.The acoustics are very impressive!See a show there just to experience the place.

Four Italian Tenors were excellent

Great venue for live music. Good acoustics, not too large, good view of the stage no matter where you are seated. Highly recommended. If you have a chance to see a show there do it.

I had absolutely the very best time here! The grounds were beautiful and the event I attended was held in a lovely gallery! The catering was so delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful! I hope to visit again soon.

The auditorium we were in was small, but lines of sight were excellent. There is ample parking within walking distance as well as many dining and drinking options. I would not hesitate to go to any show at this venue.

Its a great venue, comfortable seats, site lines are good and the sound system is great as well. Was there to see Bradford Marsallis Quartet and they did a really good show.

We saw The Nun. Second year of the performance and each year was better than the first. So Funny and the audience get to participate.

Great venue. All seats great

First time to this lovely theatre for any function. Were there for TALK Movie, a program for a preview of unreleased films. There is a discussion afterwards which rewarded us with more viewpoints. The sound was difficult for both my wife and I at various points but we will certainly return for more movies later. The movie is a secret until you get to the theatre, fun for us.

Very friendly staff. Great seats where every you end up sitting. They also have listening devices for hard of hearing people, you just need a ID card or drivers license.

Great place to see a show! Seats are comfortable and the slope of the seating area allows a great view of the stage even if the tallest guy in the room sits right in front of you. The acoustic design of the room is excellent so the sound quality is awesome! Loved it!

Great shows, good seating, bar, and lots of parking

This from our experience from last week. New sound and stage manager here is not a friendly person, neither does he looks like he wants to help. Pretty bossy from the moment we came in to sound check. Kept passing rude dumb comments to our MC about our program being delayed a little bit. Kept threatening to turn off the sound at midnight. We have been going to SCOA since past 3 years and this is the first time we are unhappy. We had Phoenix city officials and mayor at the show. Even then the guy was just useless.Other than that its a nice clean place. Old staff is very friendly. Im glad they hire older folks here who are close to retire age as most jobs would over look them. We have had several events here and enjoyed all of them with the exception to our last event.

Beautiful facility! Great venue for small/medium crowd...intimate feel. Stadium Seating provides excellent and unobstructed view of the stage.
