I modeled here for years. They pay their models well and the artists are eclectic. Facility is clean and has intriguing pieces scattered throughout. A must for anyone who is interested in broadening their artistic abilities. They have programs for teens as well.

One of the best schools in US to get training in painting. Some of the instructors are world renowned artists that you would think you would never have access too. David Leffel is my favorite.

Nurturing school with great teachers from all over the planet. Hope they develope online courses soon.

There is no other place like SAS in Arizona. Professional artists come from all over the country to teach here in their various medias...painting, drawing, sculpting... SAS has it all for youth, teens and adults of all ages and levels of experience... the artists are kind and share their experience no matter what level you are.

Attended a special needs event held here for my boys. They had such a great time! Everyone was very friendly and very accommodating. Boys loved it! Oldest is not an art lover, but he came away with awesome art pieces that he was proud of. Between sculpting and painting, youngest was in heaven. Would definitely return.

Visited this school for the workshop and I gave only good thinks to say about it. Great location. Very well organized studios. They have store if you need some art material as well as food if you short in time and want it to be ready for you right there

This School is the BEST in the nation with all the exposure to great artists. Their outreach to the community, children and all artists at all levels is a great gathering place. The Scottsdale Artists’ School is where you want to be.

Understand that your idea of beginner or intermediate or advanced is NOT the same as the instructors or schools. everyone has his own idea of whats what. and if you re taking a one week seminnar, frankly there is only so much you will learn. its up to you, do you know yourself enough to pick what you need. like,,,a doctor cant tell you a damn thing if you dont tell him whats wrong

I took a Daniel Keys workshop here and it could not have been any better. They provided all the easels, still life stations, lights and palettes. All I really needed to bring was my brushes and paints. I intend to take more classes there when time and finances permit.

I will be this school for adult program, two workshop, artist guild and Phil stakes. I know the people who work in registration front desk through phone, they are wonderful, through their work, I get a lot of help.A student from Taiwan.

It was pretty good for an artists school, and also challenged a LOT to learn. Ive also been going here for multiple years too!
