The class was super fun, my girlfriend who isnt that artsy actually left with a pretty decent painting. We were there on the pick your own picture night. There were 2 others, we had some laughs. We enjoyed the music, and idk what more to say. Id suggest this to anyone as a good date night thing.

Highly recommend this place it was so much fun meeting new people as you paint. It is even better that you can bring your own selection of wine to this location. It is centered in the downtown Scottsdale location where there is Lively music restaurants things to do people to see events to admire. The staff was nice and accommodating when you want to paint another picture other than what has been given they give suggestions and are very generous with the paint. I do plan on returning again the price was average not able to go month after month but still planning on going again! I hope you liked it as much as I did!

Audra was amazing, helpful and patient. The beauty of this place is that there is the option to choose different pairings than what everyone else is painting. We had a blast! Cant wait to go back!!

I went here with my best friend and her mom. I have never painted before but we had a blast. The staff was so nice and very helpful. They helped me paint a beautiful picture and made sure that we were well accommodated. The atmosphere was so light and fun. We will definitely be taking another class here.

Art of merlot is truly a one of a kind business! I am a cancer survivor and have had many troubles with my physical recovery. One thing art of merlot did for me was meet all my needs and accommodations so that my girlfriend and I could have a wonderful evening designing our own piece. I have never truly experienced both a great product to match the amazing customer service and in Art of Merlot’s case, I HAVE!! Great atmosphere, great people, great vibes with endless fun and creativity! Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful as well as patient. I even took my young children there and they were very accommodating.

Art of Merlot was a fabulous venue. Everything from the scheduling chaos to the event itself was pleasant. Setting up a team building event for 23 people can be stressful, however, the owner Audra was such a great help in the scheduling and also with hosting the event. Also Beth was a great Art MC. Their location is in the beautiful art district of downtown Scottsdale and is spacious enough to host even larger groups than mine. The ambiance was great, and my group had a fantastic time. Kudos Audra and the Art of Merlot I am very happy with my decision of location for my event.

These ladies are fantastic. I have had the opportunity to have two events here. One a work team build and the other my mothers 60th birthday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and all of us skeptics who cant even draw stick figures came out with paintings that hang up in our offices or houses now. I cant wait to come back and do another paint night and believes me my children cant wait either

Nothing fancy, just a large room with a bunch of easels and a great facilitator, Bruce. While they do sell some wine and beer, its also BYOB. Had a great time.

Beware of this place!!! I recently attended with a few girlfriends. They took pics of us the whole time we were painting. They then sent the pics and our emails to everyone in the class. Now were getting blown up by some other party who was there that we dont want to talk to. Super super creepy!!!

Super fun even if you arent artistic!

Art of Merlot is a great place for many different reasons. They are a paint and drinks place which there seems to be a lot of now. Art of Merlot was one of the first and have been around for about 7 years now I think. Considering the rent in Old Town Scottsdale and their prices being fair, they are doing something right. Its a great place to do a group event or birthday party but its also a great place for couples or just by yourself to unwind and forget your troubles while creating your masterpiece. You can bring your own drink of choice but they also have a few things on hand incase you forget yours. The staff is wonderful and always ready to answer your questions about how to achieve what you want to do with your painting. They have different sessions so check the website to see what fits your idea of fun. Sometimes everyone does the same thing, which I think is more about learning to paint, and other times you can pick the painting you want to try from the ones they have there or bring in your own ideas. Its also a great place for dates because you can talk and get to know each other without shouting over music or across the table. Just lots of fun and something different than the norm.

A great place to paint and relax with friends or family. Have gotten hooked on this place! Never painted before but they have made it so much fun, have come back again and again. Staff very friendly and accommodating, good for novices or more experienced artists. A great time.

This was such a GREAT time and find!! We have been to A LOT of painting classes (10+) and this one slid right into FIRST PLACE! We each chose our own painting and were provided individual instructions for color and technique and order, all while sipping on our BYOB/Wine. The staff/instructor is what solidified the First Place spot as she was SO friendly, helpful and positive. Her happy energy was contagious!! Its an hour drive for us, but we will do it again because it was that good and worth it!!

Fun and cool to be able to paint in a relaxed environment, the people who work there are the best.

Highly recommended for local residents or tourists! For a simple 3 hours session, you can paint something from scratch. Enjoy friendly conversations, familiar music in the back ground, a sip of wine or sodas, and with the help of instructors, voila! A masterpiece is done! Came highly recommended by a local tour agency for family visit. Owner Audra has always being friendly, accomodating my last minite sign ups. Have painted at the studio average once a month. Brought friends to paint together too. They cater to special events at a very reasonable price. Cant wait to be back to paint again! Nearby restaurants, live Jazz music and other art galleries are good stops too.
