Amazing zoo!! Lions and tigers and bears and SO MUCH MORE!! Super knowledgeable staff as well! Our family was SO IMPRESSED with the conservation and animals they are helping (many recovered animals that cannot be released due to limiting injuries). We cannot wait to come back!!

This is a great LITTLE ZOO. You can get through it in no time. Dont though. Stop to enjoy the sights around you. Not just the animals. The little memorial gardens everywhere made me smile. We drove from Denver and will come back again once the NEW BEAR enclosure is finished. This is also an AZA accredited zoo. They are continually making changes to keep the animals in the best health possible while making a difference in the jungle of the world.

A wonderful little Zoo that my wife and I visited with our oldest daughter! It is an older zoo and very neat. Please consider donating and visiting them as they need some minor fixes and polishes throughout and so they can continue educating the public and continue to be a great family place to visit! They even have volunteer programs for kids and one of the programs includes the kids being able to work with and help present some of their animals!

Kids loved it. We had the whole place to ourselves since it was cooler and a school day. Was priced fairly for what they had to offer. Will definitely be back.

We love going to the zoo and seeing our animal friends. Feeding the ducks is always a must plus the bears homes are done and they look so happy ️

For a smaller zoo it is awesone kids enjoyed it an they have lots of animals and the peacocks and geese roaming around was pretty neat. Love the splash pad also.

The Spooktacular event was a lot of fun this year. The staff made sure kids stayed safe and socially distant.

Cute little zoo. We enjoyed our time here during our road trip. Animals were active and we spent about 2-3 hrs here. Kids also had fun in the splash pad and Dinosaur Dig area. Looks like they are adding more.

My young kids love the dino dig and splash pad. We bought a family membership. It was well worth it. A great teaching moment plus lots of fun ways to get our energy out. A great place to explore.

Loved taking my daughter and grandkids to this Zoo. It was well laid out with nice walking paths, plenty of friendly animals and fun painted signs for photo opportunities. The staff was friendly. The prices was good. I will go again when I am in the area.

We love this place! So much fun for kids time after time. Theres a splash pad, dinosaur dig, playground, birds and fish to feed, and tons of animals to see. Birthday parties and affordable and great fun here, too!!

I visited this zoo May 2020. Some parts were closed because of Covid. They have a variety of activities for children and many animals. The spider monkeys are very entertaining and you can feed the water fowl and fish. You can interact with peacocks and geese. However, it wasnt the cleanest zoo I have been to and the enclosures were small. The big cats and bears are in small areas and are a bit thin. Still, things are better than they would be with Carole Baskin. Overall better than Big Cat Rescue.

Great zoo within a small community! They have a wide variety of various animals/reptiles. They have a splash pad for kids during the summer and even have a gift shop!

Was told splash pad was open and on but got down there with the kids and it wasnt. This has happened more than once. Bummed

Great smaller zoo which is doing great with the resources it has. I was well impressed with the quality of the exhibits as well as the low price of entry. The splash pad during the hot summer is a welcome treat for the children. The lack of food to purchase on site is offset by the unique rule allowing you to bring your own picnic cooler into the park with you.

Small but very well kept up and staff are wonderful. Playground and splash pad are our favorite play date spots!! Lots of animals considering the size and location of the zoo

Great place for families. I truly live Riverside, the animals are always out, most of which are active. Great, clear and in open view exhibits. They have a petting zoo, Bengal Tigers, Lions, Chimps, other monkies, reptiles, lynx, some birds of prey, you can feed ducks and there are peacocks that room the grounds. Im sure Im missing a lot. They also have a water play center for the kids. Awesome on a hot day.

Lots of work needed. Some of the exhibits are the same as when I was a kid. Looks like a lot of work being done though.

So many great things for this kids to do and learn. Enjoyed the splash pad and the animals that the staff allowed the kids to pet and learn about. We go as much as we can and enjoy it every time!

Great place for kids to learn about everything from sounds to animals to farming. Pretty cool dome theater as well! Will definitely be back.

Animals looked too hot but look Where they live. Low price to get in. Not much for sale in gift shop but it could be the wrong time of year to visit.

Wonderful little zoo! Very clean and staff is friendly. I highly recommend it. It really only takes about an hour to walk through but it is well worth it plus you help out the animals. Theres a water play pad in there. So during the summer months the kiddos can play in the water and look at animals. Bring a lunch and have a picnic. So many possibilities.

This is anaawesome zoo! The prices are good and the selection of animals is excellent. My kids also love the water park, playground, and dino dig areas.I recommend feeding the fish, geese, and letting zoo animals.The exhibits are well designed and they have plans to add more.

Lots of fun for the kids, splash pad and an excavator site with hidden dinosaur bones. Some of the animals werent available to be seen.

Awesome! This is a great place for younger kids. They have an impressive set of animals as well but the kids are usually too busy with the splash pad and sand pit! Prefer this by far over Denver Zoo

Its was okay. They used to have more animals there. Maybe they moved them during the construction. Disappointed in the grounds. A little watering would help.

Its small but very well taken care of. The kiddos have so many things to explore with plenty of hands on! The staff is so friendly and helpful

My family is blessed by having a zoo in our town. I am certainly glad we have the opportunity to visit exotic and endangered animals within a few miles. If it wasnt for places like this many of our animal species would vanish. Many large zoos dont even have chimpanzees and the Riverside Zoo has 5 in a spacious enclosure. Please rally and support this zoo. If you have a passion for animals, please do what you can to support our zoo! What a tremendous resource for our community and our families.

Very nice and beautiful place! I loved seeing the peacocks roaming around. All of the workers are very knowledgeable about everything and the animals love them.

Best zoo for the little ones be sure its very interactive and not too big. They let you bring in your own lunch too which is wonderful! They have a nice little splash pad also!

Absolutely awesome! Never crowded, even when they do special things like wild lights. I love that my kids get to know the animals by name so when we go they ask to see certain animals. Sad to see scooter go, but understand the circumstances.

Many of their animals were not showing.

For being a smaller zoo it is quite nice. Staff is friendly and exhibit are easy to find. Can go through it in less than an hour.

The Riverside Zoo is a great place for families with children. There is a splash pad for the kids when it is warmer, a dino dig area for those who love fossils, and a new large grizzly bear enclosure along with a newly remodeled chimpanzee enclosure.

There have been several additions over the past few years, and everything is looking good! A couple of Grizzlies have recently been added. They will be building a new bear enclosure soon. Excited to see the renovation!

Pretty impressive zoo for such a small town. I particularly enjoyed seeing the two grizzly bears, however I do hope they are able to move them to the planned larger exhibit area soon, as they are quickly outgrowing the current area.

Very nice place to see all the animals and learn about the animals and their habitat. Staff members are friendly. They have great events for kids and adults.

Wasnt sure what to expect from a small town zoo but this exceeded expectations! There were enough animals that my two young children enjoyed seeing them but did not get bored from wandering like at a larger zoo. There was also a splash pad, petting zoo, play ground and a dinosaur dig area. Totally worth the long drive for us to go!

Bigger than I expected. If youre bringing kids, make sure you bring swimming trunks for them! They have a water play area.

Great park!My only complaint is that the person at the shooting range sold us a park permit for the day and then we found out at the visitors center that it was a free day and we didnt need one.

This zoo was a great place to take the kids on vacation. We enjoyed seeing the animals and going to the petting zoo. We will make a point of visiting again.

Smaller zoo that has constantly improved over the years. They seem to get a spectacular display from time to time. Good family outing and not a whole day marathon like big zoos.

Such a great time for anyone! The new exhibits are awesome and you can check out the ponds, river walk, dog park, frisbee golf and more right outside the zoo! Super fun!

The bears looked very uncomfortable and I dont like the peacocks roaming around but its a cool place.
