Awesome park very peaceful

Had my sons 5th b-day party here. It was a nice turn out. I brought a bouncy house and games such as sack race, 3-legged race, and pin the tail on the donkey. The playground equipment alone is not enough to keep 20 kids entertained. The grill is typical but worked well for the amount of hot dogs and hamburgers we served. Restrooms arent very tidy. There are small spiders and webs everywhere. The covered picnic area seated all of the adults present. I was able to decorate and play music. Reservations for the day are really affordable for an outside event and allows for privacy. We did not utilize the pool (in April) and no one chose to walk around the lake, but it was a nice view.

It seems the city is renovating this park little by little. There is a big pond here and Its usually very quiet and peaceful.

Very low key. Some were you take a nice walk & dont have to worry about over crowded.
