If youre looking for a family friendly, or romantic trip, add this to your stop. They have day options (more family oriented) and dinner options with two seated romantic table settings. When you purchase your tickets online, make sure to stop at the store on River Street first, its the tallest red banner with Riverboat Tour on it. Go there and that is where you need to get your boarding passes printed. Screenshot your tickets, every one individually, as they have you text a number, attach the images, then they print them off. I tell you this in advance, because it is incredibly frustrating to wait in a very long line, only to be told to exit, print the passes, then enter the line all over again.Once you get to the front they scan your tickets, then take your picture in front of the ship. Later during the tour, you get to view your pictures and purchase if you so choose. Upon boarding, if youre not in the front of the line, you may not get a wi die seat inside, but the interior seats still have a beautiful view, and most people get up and move outside, once theyve had a drink or ate. We were able to find a wonderful employee named Sean who was willing to help clean the table that someone left, and we were then able to enjoy the window view. (Bring tip money for the staff that go above and beyond). The tables have menus, so you can choose what drink, beverage, appetizers, Salad, Entrees, and even a Kids Menu.Once you decide what you want, you wait in line for the bar to order both. For 3 people, it was over $55, for one drink, one soft drink, an app, a light up drink and a kids meal. We tried the hummus app, and it was good, just really small amount of actual hummus, and the olives were awful. Kids meal was great, and drinks were also great. Also love the souvenir cups. If you have kids, the light-up cups ($7 each) are a great option and a great take home souvenir. The adult souvenir mugs come in 5 different color options, silver, yellow, green, red, blue. I tried the paddlewheel punch and it was really good. Id definitely get it again. The restrooms were also clean, and nice smelling, which I very much appreciate. The staff were very kind and helpful as well.Overall, the captain, the guide, the staff, all did a phenomenal job. I would recommend adding this to your list on top things to do in Savannah.
Spent $70 for our sunset cruise. First we sailed after sunset so no pictures of the sunset. You get on board & they play music which was fine but the captain never said what we were seeing. Very disappointed, don’t waist your money.
We went for the evening dinner cruise. You have to pay extra for a window seat which we gladly did ($10/person). The views were good. The riverboat doesnt even feel like its moving. You can get up and roam the boat your table is reserved for you. Dinner was average, but there was prime rib and that was good. Nice ride up and down the river.
Went last weekend it was nice and relaxing way to see savannah
This place is nice, upscale and expensive. Our school has booked for our annual meeting here, renting a whole floor of the boat to accommodate a dinner. The food is good and the views are great. But Id never pay the price we paid for the tour out of my own pocket
The buffet was even better than I expected. Prime rib, all side dishes were top notch. once you realize what you pay in a restaurant plus getting a decent length cruise it really is a great deal!Parking was tough (for us, not the boat :-) ), but the staff that waited on us were 10 out of 10 for service, friendly and genuine. Deck 1 on a Friday night Oct 4 2019.Once you walk about decks and find spots to relax after dinner it is very nice (once you get away from that one chatter box woman at every outing).scenic route but you should remember the scenery is the flats, some of the river street area and the commercial shopping operations. we loved it... will do again.
Delicious food and a fun evening! Our group had a vegan and someone on keto, and both were very happy with the buffet! The dj was very fun, and the music was great to dance to! The boat itself is beautiful and decorated for Christmas. Definitely recommend if you have a free evening!
A friend & I went on the boat tour & also got the lunch buffet tickets. It’s a little pricey but worth it for a historic cruise with a fresh buffet of foods & delicious drink choices. You’re paying tourist prices obviously, but it’s worth the experience. If you purchase tickets to eat you have a table reserved for you to always sit inside on the first floor & can wonder up to the top floor to experience the tour outside as well. While general tickets don’t allow you buffet experience I believe they still provide nachos & hot dogs to eat & you get to go between floors two & three. Anyone looking for a nice takeaway from Savannah & authentic southern experience, I suggest this.
Very nice food was good service was awesome just remember to tip your server they do a wonderful job thanks hollie. Happy birthday babe
Andrew is awesomeHe made our entire trip AMAZINGLove him. 5 Star customer service and the cruise itself was AWESOMEBuffet style food was delicious Worth the price for this experience
It was kind of exactly as I expected (we went as a group, and majority ruled that they wanted to do the cruise). We did the sunset cruise without buffet, which was fairly pricey for going up and down a small portion of the river a few times. Theres not much to see once you get past the main strip (which you can see on foot, about a half mile of restaurants and shops), and beyond that there is a lot of industrial land, giant parking lots, and warehouses. Maybe because it was the sunset cruise, but there wasnt a guide or any information presented about what we were seeing either, so if youre looking for a historic tour I would inquire whether the day tours give a bit more information. There was some live music (in the main dining room, as well as on the top deck) and they were playing some fun music, and there were a few people dancing. There werent too many people on the cruise either, both the dining hall and deck seemed empty (maybe 15-20% capacity?). Drinks took a long time because there was only one bartender, but she was very generous on the pour, so at least you dont need to order more than 1 or 2 drinks for the entire time.Overall it was ok, but I wouldnt recommend as a must-do.
Super fun
