Visiting from VA and was looking for a place in Savannah to get tatted. Got a quick response and managed to get an appointment with them the next day. Kimberly was such a thrill to work with, and was very professional with everything. Gave good tips with after-care and even offered to touch it up if I came back in the future. Definitely recommend Good Fortune Tattoo 1000%!!!!

Came here on my vacation and got a fern wrapped around my wrist. It was a great experience with Amanda. Good conversation and amazing tattoos . I have other wrist tatts and they were pretty painless but with Amanda it was a walk in the park. No excessive bleeding and almost no soreness afterwords. Tattoo is healing wonderfully! I might dive the 5hrs down there just to have her do my next one.

The lady is very rude I honestly believe shes racist . Me& my lil sister got matching tattoos and my sister tattoo is disappearing under her skin (only had for a week now) you honestly would think someone got a blade and cut her it doesn’t even look like a tattoo. We informed them and sent them pictures & now they wont respond & they wont answer there phones for our number anymore i advice you all to choice another tattoo shop their horrible and not professional at all...! The young lady also told me my kids couldn’t touch the floor and we was in the waiting room so im confused on what touching the floor had todo with anything

This is my favorite shop in Savannah, and cannot recommend them highly enough. The shop itself is extremely clean and the artists are very conscious of maintaining proper sterile conditions, Theres lots of designs and everyone is eager to help you find a cool tattoo.Amanda is an extremely talented tattoo artist as well as fine artist. Ive been getting tattooed from her for over 15 years and they still look great. I recommend letting her design something for you, custom work is her specialty. All of the tattoo artists there are gonna do a great job no matter who you pick, Ive been tattooed by a few of the other artists and they look great as well.Do yourself a favor and see this shop first!!

I worked with John Judy for a custom piece on my thigh. He was great to work with. Within a week, he had put together a cohesive design from about four different pictures and sketches I sent him. His color work is great. He has MANY years of experience and it definitely shows. He told me that his tattoos typically dont scab (and I didnt believe him), but it really hasnt. He knows what hes doing. Even though it was probably the most painful tattoo experience Ive ever had, I dont think Id go to anyone else--his work is excellent!

I love the work here and both artists are very friendly. Amanda is a great listener and makes sure she has exactly what you want before she starts to tattoo you.

The moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed. Shop is very clean and sterile. Amanda put 100% of herself into my tattoo. She did her research and was not satisfied until it was EXACTLY what I wanted (I had some pretty specific wants). The price was fair. She was a blast to talk to and get tatted by, she made sure I was comfortable, and opened every needle in front of me. She was nice and went out of her way to help every single person I saw walk through the front door. I have multiple tattoos and the one she did is my absolute favorite. I will be getting ALL of my tattoos here. I will never go anywhere else!

This review is for anyone wanting to get there first tattoo or if it has been a long time since there first tattoo (like me, almost 20 years since first tattoo) This is defiantly the place to go. Its clean and friendly and NOT intimidating at all. TJ was awesome. He made sure he understood what I wanted and got right on it. I felt completely welcomed and confident about what tattoo I was getting. Highly recommend this place.

Came in late on a Saturday afternoon and they squeezed us in for 3 tattoos. Everyone was friendly and Brandon was amazing. Easy to work with and helpful with ideas. The tattoo was exactly what I wanted and was done quickly. The shop is clean and in a great location.

I contacted John a few days ago while on my way down from St. Louis. I simply sent him a picture of what I wanted and wanted to stay relatively close to the original design. The outcome was amazing and being such short notice he hooked me up and fit me into his already busy and booked schedule. I cant say anything about any other shop in savannah; however, good fortune is where its at! Thanks again John! Nice hanging with you for a little and I will be back to get some more work done in the future!

My husband and I walked in there and we were greeted kindly by everyone. Amanda did my husbands Sailor Jerrys girl tattoo & Billy did a great job with my half sleeve. We will definitely go back and get some more work done. Loved this tattoo shop and I would highly recommend it.

This is seriously the place to go! TJ is doing a cover up on my arm and you cant even tell theres was anything behind the new work. He is great at what he does and it shows in his work, plus you can tell he loves doing it! Would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great quality tattoo!

I have gone to a number of tattoo shops both in Savannah and in Charleston, SC. This place is by far the place to go. I have always felt very welcome and have gotten the best ink ever here. Everyone is kind and patient and makes sure you get exactly what you want. As a matter of fact, Amanda has had to cover up quite a few of my bad tattoos that I have gotten at other places. I live in Charleston, SC and will always just make the 2 hour trip to Savannah to have Amanda do all my art. If you want quality work, this place is by far the place to go. I just wish I would have found her first. Make the smart choice and go her for some quality, beautiful pieces.

I went to Good Fortune with a few pictures but no set idea of what I wanted. TJ was able to beautifully pull together what I wanted and put some time into planning. Im very happy with the improvised watercolor he did for me and Ill definitely be back for some more when Im in Savannah!

This is heaven of tattoo places! I had TJ Newsome do a tattoo for me that came out unbelievable! He was great on time and patient with me. He helped with my idea and was able to understand exactly what I needed the tattoo to present. He went above and beyond. None of my other tattoos come close to compare with his work!!!

T.j. Is a beast when it comes to Black and gray realism. But he can do anything you want superbly. I suggest you check out the colored version of an alligator he did. It blew me away,.... literally! I recently went to good fortune and it had a GREAT atmosphere the art was one of the very best Ive ever seen(considering that i`m an artist and own a gallery)still the best.

Came here with my husband so he could get his first tattoo! This is by far the BEST tattoo parlor in savannah. I have had my past 2 tatts done in savannah and Good Fortune made my 3rd one the best. Quick and beautiful work! Seriously great atmosphere and amazing staff. Whenever I come back to the states I will be making a stop here for sure. Thanks again!

My wife and I were on vacation and thought we would look at a few shops to get a small, yet meaningful tattoo. Went here, talked with a very nice gentleman about what we were looking for and he very kindly told us, Today wont work for me, but if you want, I can scetch something up and we can do it tomorrow at 2. We exchanged contact info and called it a day. The next day we show up 30 minutes early for our appointment and promptly told the lady at the desk we were early, no worries, tell him to take his time. At this point, he stops his current piece and comes running up and it becomes obvious that him and the front desk lady are having issues about his appointments as they whispered for about 5 minutes. She proceeds to to be extremely rude and tells us i f we want to come back an HOUR later....after we had already made an appointment...showed up....and did not recieve ANY curtious call about our artist running behind....they might be able to work us in. So to sum it up in 2 words...completely unprofessional!!! Would never suggest anyone go here!!
