Came last week, no one checked ids. came this week and they checked ids. the lady was extremely rude when i asked why they needed to check them. never gave an actual answer, just said we need too. the what we think is a manager told my husband to show his military id at the counter and the girl working the counter told him he didn’t need it because it was only $21. later in the evening we saw a group about to play laser tag, the guy working it said he would wait for us. we went to the front to pay and they told us we couldn’t because the last game was at 8pm, but not even 3 people in front us in line were allowed to hold the game up so they can play. staff is extremely rude. rules are not set and stone. one week it’s one thing and the next it’s different. i won’t be back.

What a great roller skating environment with an excellent wood floor, great music, and food available for the kiddies. The building is actually a castle with a moat and dragon outside and also laser tag for those so inclined . Very nice staff and generally clean. Highly recommended for any age skater. Im 69 years old and had a great time today.

Scary, everyone had on masks to enter, but once you were inside the building, masks were off. People ate at tables that werent washed down before or after they ate. Kids went in the restroom holding into the walls when they entered wash thier hands and then held onto the walls they touch coming in again. It looks like Covid-City.

I waited in a long line to be told I can’t get in bc I did not have a college id! I could get in if was 18-20 with a college id. But if not you have to be 21 with a state id! What sense does that make??!? Should have had a sign posted outside!

Nice small skating rink in Savannah. Family enjoyed ourselves skating and in the arcade.

I like this place a lot it is fun to skate there and play at the arcade I always have a great time. One major correction is just getting nicer employees and an caring staff. Something else is whenever an arcade game runs out of tickets I asked a woman to refill it and she just glared at me and never did it. Just try to fill up the games with tickets is all I ask.

Most of the staff is friendly except for one white male in a black STAFF shirt, Me and My friend got yelled at because we were looking for her parent and had out waters in the rink area apparently me drinking out of my water because I was getting nervous was a crime, anyway my friend went to ask him later on if she could have the WiFi password and he tells her are you one of the ones who tried to sneak water in? First of all we paid for those and she asked for the password not to be ridiculed by a grown man, in the end he didnt give her the password because thats top secret information (total bs)

Would not return here. They did not have roller blades and a rather large roach crawled on my husbands foot in the arcade. All of this could have been overlooked and we would have had a good time and left a good review however the staff was rude, unwelcoming & dismissive. Not only were they impolite but when my children went up to collect their prizes they kept getting ignored until all of the other people of the same race as the attendant got theirs. We teach our children to be kind and loving toward everyone and this place showed us that unfortunately many in this world are not on that same page. I sure hope those employees can find it in their hearts to do so in the future.

Saturdays 1st session is the Best session if you wanna teach your kids how to skate.Not crowded plenty room to move around.My kids loved it and I enjoyed skating on the floor teaching my kids.

I am so disappointed. I love to skate and I was so excited about being able to skate so close to home. I got purposefully shoved for no reason. The staff was rude when my husband tried to get a prize from the arcade section. I was trying to walk to get my shoes and I accidentally bumped into someone. She immediately yelled you got a problem? I tried saying sorry are you okay? She rolled her eyes and walked away. It was a bad time and I could tell no one wanted me there. So sadly, I wont be back. The jams were great though.

This is a fun spot for kids to enjoy. They can accommodate birthday parties and special events. They have roller skating and blading available. However they only rent out skates. You can bring your own blades or skates if you prefer. They also have laser tag and arcade games.

The young lady at the door was rude tonight. We came from out of town. She told us they were at capacity...but then she allowed 4 of her friends to come in.. we watched her put the band on her 4 friends. I am very disappointed because we were trying to celebrate my cousins birthday

Loved it, super amazing staff where so helpful and nice. Other customers where nice and helping one another out every one was have such a good time...

They would not let me in without a mask. They said that the mayors order requires it. I told them that I have asthma and the mayors order allows for medical exceptions. They told me I would need a doctors note, for something I have lived with my entire life. They said that they are a private business, so that is what they require. I will not be patronizing them anymore.

Customer service was well pleasing. Arcade and roller rink was superb. Kids loved it!! We will always come back to this castle for festivities and playtime/family time. Two thumbs up!!!

Great music so much fun..

We hosted our sons 8th birthday party here and everyone had an excellent time! The online booking was a breeze! We were available dates in real time, read the rules prior to, select a party date and pay a deposit quickly and easily!Our son has a food allergy and they were happy to accommodate us bringing in our own cupcakes for him to enjoy.The day of the party, our host Josh walked us through the entire process. He prepared the party room, set up the cupcakes and stayed in touch with us as guests arrived. When we were ready for pizza he made sure it was fresh from the oven, not sitting under heat lamps for several hours!The kids had a blast in the laser tag room after their tag coordinator, Patrick, taught them the rules and outfitted them with vests and lasers. Patrick was available to answer questions and Josh took time to check in on everyone after the tag was finished.When it was time to say goodbye, everyone received a cute gift bag with a pass for another day.Hands down easiest and most fun birthday weve planned yet! The whole process start to finish was smooth and the kids all had an amazing time. 5 stars!

Josh and his team provided us a last minute reservation for our daughter birthday party. They were amazing in coming through with outstanding customer service. The kids enjoyed themselves very much without a hitch!

Overall we have a nice time when we are there. We make it a once or twice a year thing for my daughter. This time though we got there when they first opened and they werent busy at all, but not a lot of employees. But there was one female that had quite the attitude when we went to cash in our tickets for prizes. And I am pretty sure she shorted our ticket amount. But we were in such a rush to leave, I didnt have time to make a fuss and my daughter still had a nice time, and got a few prizes! This was my FIRST and ONLY experience with a rude employee, and I dont judge people, she could be going to work and have something larger going on in her life. You just never know what another person is going through. I agree that working in customer service, especially around kids, you should still put your best foot forward with a smile and be pleasant, but not everyone has that outlook or attitude. Every other time we have gone, has been a truly pleasant and wonderful experience, and the employees were always super fun and nice. I still recommend them! Hands down!!

Really lovely. We went the Saturday morning after thanksgiving while visiting my sister. We basically had the place to ourselves. The wooden rink was huge and really great to skate on.

The manager there was great. We had a birthday party and it was a huge hit, he took care of everything we needed. Not everything worked out as far as the initial schedule went but everything worked out much better than we could have imagined. Im really glad we chaise this place for our party and would do it again even for my self haha

Arcade room, skating, laser tag, food court.I wonder why they dont just have one entrance fee for entering, but the arcade room. Simply charge one price for all the activities.My children are a little older so after laser tag, the arcade room, and some skating they were ready to leave. We stayed maybe 45 minutes. I had children with me ages 7 to 21, they got bored really quickly.Oh the floors for skating are NOT smooth.

I have been taking my sons here for years, such a kid friendly place, I love the funnel cake fries I do wish the parents would watch the children more especially the real small 1s... Aww. And please get more comfortable seating (Sofa) for parents who r waiting for children while skating, & plz some type of order in the parking lot when leaving please, the children r standing in the way of cars when leaving which is dangerous.

Starcastle is the place to be for a birthday and excellent customer service. My family had the flu and didnt reserve a party in time. Being stressful parents on making our baby girl day special we were frantic, when we couldnt do a reservation in less than 24 hours!!! I email them at 9:00@m on Friday 11/15/2019. The GM John got back with me in less than 15 minutes with a phone call. Made my party happen. Josh the manager was our host. He gave exceptional service went above and beyond!! The coolest guy you ever met. My baby had her party today 11/16/19. Josh was running that place and still played the best host. We love you and thank you so much Josh!! Thanks again Starcastle!!!!

My kids had fun! The place was busy. It just doesnt seem clean. I didnt see the skate guy spray any disinfectant in the skates.

I don’t know what happened to this place but a lot has changed and not for the better. The workers were so unprofessional and the environment was not welcoming. We arrived at 8:15 to be told that we couldn’t skate because they were closing at 8:45. Even though it says online that they close at 9:00 pm. Not impressed. Don’t waste your money.

We were here for a birthday party. My husband and son enjoyed the lazer tag. The hostess for the birthday party did a great job of taking care of the group I was with. The skating area is nice. I liked that you could rent support walker for a beginning skater for 4 dollars. The arcade is alright. It is kind of small and the games vary from 25 cents to a dollar.

Had a fun time but it is over priced for lazer tag. It cost $7 for one ten minute session. The score board was broken so nobody knew who even won the round.

I just moved to the area I highly recommend Castle Family for family entertainment...Its affordable the food is on point.....The staff is amazing the way they monitor the children incredible....The set up is nice I will taking my son back on a regular....Also this place is perfect for parties for children and grown -ups as well...

The manager Josh was extremely helpful! Star Castle is a fabulous place for birthday parties! You can get laser tag or skating for 10 kids with pizza and drinks and cake and ice cream! We have probably had 10 parties there.

I love the place, everything is great. Although, I think the place should have more days open in the summer. Kids love to go any day of the week and they should be open!

Called star castle on Thursday to do a last minute birthday party for Friday, ended up talking to JOSH and he got me right in! Let me tell you he took care of everything!!!!!!! He greeted us with a warm welcome and his attitude stayed the same the whole time! Besides the occasional trips we make here, we have had parties every year for the last 6/7 years and this has been the most amazing customer service weve received.....so a big THANK YOU TO JOSH!!! A GREAT ADDITION TO THE STAR CASTLE FAMILY!!

Fun place for anyone looking to escape from work or school and have fun with friends and family. Love the skating ring and they recently changed their laser tag equipment so it works properly. The only reason why Star Castle doesn’t get a perfect 5 is because of the staff. They’re not very helpful, especially when booking areas through the phone. The lady I was booking the laser tag room with through the phone sounded annoyed with me as soon as she picked up the phone and made me feel like I was stupid, even though I was just doing a normal reservation. When my friends and I got to Star Castle, the ladies at the entrance again seemed annoyed with everyone and weren’t welcoming at all. Would definitely suggest changing your staff to friendlier people, especially since a lot of families come here

Our family visited here on vacation and none of us were impressed. The customer service was absolutely horrible. One would say something and another member of the staff would say something else. They charged my 1 yr old the same price as an adult to skate. I was baffled. Then told me he looked 4 and probably shouldn’t be skating but he should be okay?! The staff are rude. It’s not a very clean place either. Definitely wouldn’t recommend!

I really want to give this place a high rating. Its a great place and kids love it but I just cant.The customer service is horrible. We walk in and there really is no greeting, just a forced how many? You ask a question and they mumble the answer. Maybe its because its Sunday or maybe we came at a bad time but I would expect better. Youre the face of the business. At least pretend like you want to be there. However, it is clean and well kept so thats always a plus.

We had our daughters 4th party here and we really enjoyed ourselves! The party host was so nice and helpful... I would come back because of the way we were treated and taken care of by the host. All the kids skated themselves crazy, I will say the pizza wasn’t the best and the concession staff was rude!

Fun to skate all day for $6 however, they dont enforce the 18+ at night. Also I understand trying to make money but I would really like to bring my own water when I skate.

The employees are wonderful when it comes to service and making sure that you, as a consumer are well on and off the skating rink floor.

Moving here from Atlanta, a skating rink was one of the first things on my list to find and settle in to. I quickly learned there was only one. That being said I’ve learned to just appreciate having one at all, but it definitely needs work. Honestly it’s very overdue for some renovations, starting with the floor. The wood is worn an uneven. You’ll hit some bumps and ridges on your trip around the rink, so be mindful. I only skate on adult nights, and I love the local skaters, but the DJ needs work. His mixes are almost nonexistent, and when he does venture out to mix some tracks, it’s pretty subpar. The DJ can make or break a skate night, they’re really in control of shaping the night, the vibe, the pace, etc. hopefully he works on his craft, and the owner invest in his business. It’d be nice if it was an open rink, instead of the rink being closed off completely from the games and the concession.All in all it’s better than nothing, just figures you should know what to expect

Great place to have a party for your child. The prices are very reasonable, and you get so much for your money! Just make sure if you are going on the weekend that you get started at an earlier afternoon time. It begins to get a little crowded and rambunctious around 6:30 pm.

Nice place to spend a few hours at for cheap and have a good time. A fun arcade and roller skating. The laser tag tends to be pretty buggy and just a mess but its can be fun to play once.

We went for team building and had a great time. In the past theyve had quiet the reputation but we went on a Saturday and police were present and I saw a bunch of families. Certainly felt better than before. The entire staff was friendly and they even let us use their party room for a quick meeting! Thank you guys!

Great experience. Took my daughter and 10 friends for her 12th birthday Party. Staff was great, good food and the girls had a blast, best of all, we had no planning to do b/c Star Castle did it all!! Highly recommendable!

Attended birthday party, and its too much money for what you get

This is the only skating rink in the Savannah area. The skate area was very unorganized with younger less experienced skaters being allowed to use skate trainers in all areas of the rink; making for a lot of dodging and slowing down. I wouldnt buy anything from the food court unless it was pre-packaged. If you just want to skate for a bit and leave its tolerable. I would not make a day of it.

I really enjoyed Laser Tag there. Most fun Ive had in a long time.

We have always had a good experience, when visiting Star Castle, over the years. Last night, in the arcade, I realized my phone was missing. The manager, John, stopped what he was doing and began to help. He turned on all the lights and went from game to game, searching underneath and behind them, in corners, even in trash cans! He then enlisted the help of the security guard/officer on duty (?). This must have gone on for at LEAST 10 minutes before my phone was found. I am too embarrassed to disclose where it turned up (), but Johns efforts reflected the overall dedication of Star Castles staff and are MUCH appreciated!!!!

My daughters had an amazing time!! Good prices, friendly staff and nice family atmosphere. We didnt taste the food so my rating dont include food. Overall we recommend it!!

Id say. Only go here if your looking to skate. The ring is a bit small. And you might wanna go buy skates to bring cause Im sure the skates they rent out now are the same ones they rented out 10 years ago. The arcade is full of half working, and very dated games. The place itself shows its age. But still fun if you have a group of friends to skate with.

A very fun and well maintained center. The provided skates are old and pretty beat up and there were some broken and old games, however the arcade prizes are a lot higher quality than most other arcades. Would recommend!

This place is absurd. Me and my family of 8 arrived around 11 am thinking they opened at 12. Get to the door to check it out and the hours say they open at 5 pm. So we spent the whole day in Savannah wasting time and when we arrive at 530 they are closed due to private party. Which was not noted anywhere. So we go in the staff is rude. Tell us that someone has rented the building and have spent lots of money there was nothing they could do about it. I will NEVER come back to this location again. Very unprofessional

First time going and had a good time, some games were down but thats every where u go. The Dj was doing his thing didnt taste the food but everything else was nice my son enjoyed his self

Located near the Olgethorpe Mall they have roller skating, laser tag and arcade games. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. The roller rink is adequately maintained and they provide roller skates as part of the admission fee. They also provide a stand with wheels to help beginners stay upright. Overall we had fun and it was an enjoyable experience

Josh is hands down the epitome of customer service. The atmosphere is great and the staff is extremely professional.

Extremely crowded (which I understand is somewhat expected of a skating rink), but there is absolutely no cutoff to the amount of people allowed in the rink, apparently. There were extremely young kids all over the rink (some had to be around 6-8), and no employees watching to keep people from walking on the rink, or even skating the wrong direction. The skates were extremely uncomfortable and the wheels so wore down that you naturally skate in circles. While the price was reasonable and much cheaper than many other rinks Ive been to (7$), I guess you get what you pay for.*edit* This is also the only rink I have ever been to that doesnt take your shoes behind the counter for safe keeping when you take skates out. Im assuming this is just so that $0.50 can be squeezed out of everyone that shows up.I hate to give lower star reviews like this, as I know it can be hard for a place to shake them, but as I read through the reviews Im definitely not the only person who thinks this place is of poor quality. I hope management can take critique in mind and turn things around.

Birthday packages got extremely expensive, for 1 hr not sure if Ill pay that amount again, however the attention was great and everyone had a good time.
