Truly a gem in the heart of Sartell. Just over 6 acres of wooded grounds with a large playground area, picnic tables and benches. A paved trail with rail assistance is available thru out the park, even offering a short nature walk along the Watab River. The grounds are nicely kept, with plenty of shrubs, flowers and other native plants. If you are into birdwatching there are plenty of nesting boxes for your feathered friends. No actual bathrooms but a porta potty is available if needed. Come enjoy the quietness of the park, the busyness of the squirrels or just the changing of the leaves.

**no splash pad**This is a small park located next to a housing development in a Sartell. It is relatively easy to find, though it is inside a group of houses, so I did miss the street entrance one time. There appears to be a walking path connected to the park, 2 dedication benches (donated?), a few swings and a couple of slides. There is a backhoe scoop with levers isolated in a sandbox, it is toddler-sized & can be used to scoop the sand and relocate it. My son spent most of his time there. Otherwise, the playing area is covered in woodchips.When I went here it was summer time, and it was hot and humid with no breeze! There is no shade coverage from the sun, outside of the walking path. My son and I were looking for parks with splash pads and Google told us that this park had one. I am not sure who reviewed the park and said it has a splash pad, it does not have any sort of water for playing. We only stayed for about twenty minutes before my 18 month old wanted more to do.

Lions park is such a clean quiet park....it has a fun play structure, sand area, and paved trails around the wooded area. It also has a porta potty in the parking area......

It was a nice place to take a walk, handicap accessible path all around the park especially the overlook of the water.

Very clean and well maintained, my 5 yo granddaughter loves the swings, slides and fun stuff to play on.

Very accessible

This park is just enough off the beaten path that its not very crowded and it feels peaceful. Its easily accessible and beautifully landscaped.
