Ive known Rachel for 10+ years now and its been unbelievable seeing her grow as an artist and photographer. When it came time to book, I knew exactly who to choose. I knew her work was beyond amazing, but WOW when you open up your very own gallery for the first time you cant help but smile and be overjoyed. I got married 3 years ago and I still remember how amazing Rachael was a photographer! She was extremely thoughtful and remembered all the specific shots I wanted (plus tons I didnt know I wanted). The best part, though, was how kind and calm she was through the whole experience! She was basically my unofficial wedding day counselor and calming presence. When we received the pics, they came in a BEAUTIFUL little wooden box with a bunch of dried lavender and a hand-lettered note (IDK if she still does that). She always gave a personal touch to everything. I would definitely recommend her!

One of the most important things to me in choosing a photographer for family photos is their ability to pull out our true personalities. I dont want to look at our photos and remember what a staged, stressful shoot it was...even if the photos look good! I want to see the faces and expressions my kids make every day. I want the photos to be genuine. Rachael has the ability to pull this off more than anyone Ive ever met! She is so sweet and everyone in my family immediately feels comfortable as soon as she starts shooting. I have 4 boys and a husband who despise taking pictures. But every one of them says, But its fun with Rachael! I am so beyond thankful for her incredible ability and talent. After having family pictures taken by her for years, one would think I would stop being blown away. However, every single year she delivers once again....bringing a tear to my eye as I scroll through these precious captured moments. Shes the best! You wont be disappointed!

The moment we met Rachael, we were overwhelmed by her genuinely sweet and kind spirit. She truly loves and cares for each and every couple she works with. It is quite obvious her work is beautiful and captures both candid and structure very well. We LOVED working with her and her team on the day of; there were so many pictures and moments captured, i was unaware were being taken. Rachael and her team truly stuck it out on our wedding day; with an excessive heat warning, you wouldve never guessed with these two, they just kept going and didnt slow down. I cannot express how wonderful it was to have their positive attitudes that day, i was not feeling too great from the heat, and they complied with any breaks i needed and kept going with other shots in between. If you are looking for a caring, loving, committed, talented and dedicated team, look no further. I am so sad its over because i will no longer be working with them. We could not have made a better choice choosing Rachael and Cody as our photographers to capture our big deal! They are incredibly kind, flexible and professional throughout the whole process! We had engagement photos done first and knew at that point we were in good hands! Rachael does AMAZING work! She also does a wonderful job of making you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. On the day of the wedding, they maintained awesome, positive energy - even though it was so cold out! Our wedding party and family loved them! Rachael was extremely prompt in getting us a sneak peak after the wedding, and quick to get us all of the final photos. I am so glad I found Rachael! From our first phone call, she never put any pressure on us to commit to having her photograph our wedding but instead asked intentional questions to make sure we were a good fit for each other. Wedding planning is stressful- especially choosing the right photographer for your day - and I was blown away by how incredible it was to work with Rachael. She was a great communicator throughout the whole process. Our package included an engagement session which was awesome because then we were able to see how Rachael worked - she is so calm and encouraging and we left the session so confident in our choice of photographer! Then the wedding day - Rachael wasnt stressed about time or pushy but instead was able to efficiently capture the photos we wanted (she had us send a list beforehand) as well as take some amazing candid photos. She was authoritative enough to wrangle our family and bridal party for large group photos. We gave Rachael tricky backdrops such as wind, a dimly lit church, and a new reception venue, and she delivered! We are beyond pleased with our photos and would highly recommended Lovely Day Fleur to brides looking for a stellar experience and great results.
