Very nice stay. absolutely plan to visit again!!! !!!
I loved this hotel. It was beautiful andThe staff were friendly and their service was excellent.
I had amazing customer service at the Gideon Putnam. I had to change the dates of my reservation that I made through Booking.com. Stephanie assisted me over the phone and gave me AMAZING customer service. She was patient, kind, and answered all of my questions. She went above and beyond and she sets the standard for quality customer service. I will be staying at this hotel in the future, and was very pleased with their assistance. We have celebrated many events here, wedding receptions, 50th birthday parties, etc.. and have always received great care. Thank you to Stephanie and the staff at the Gideon Putnam
Absolutely amazing romantic anniversary weekend! I booked through a third party, working advantage, in which the hotel could not find my reservation. I was extremely stressed however the hotel was still able to accommodate us and even upgraded us to a porch suite. Although the bathroom didnt meet my ocd standards, the porch was beautiful and we loved the room. We also loved how convenient it was to everything we visited, either a short walk or less than 10 min drive, perfect location. The rocking chairs out front, the elevators, and the telephones in the lobby gave an old fashioned atmosphere which we loved. A special thank you to John for his generosity and Stephanie for her patience as well. We will definitely be back :-)
We drove to the Gideon Putnam near the end of October to view the Fall colors. The location of the hotel inside the Saratoga Spa State Park and near downtown Saratoga Springs was excellent. The hotel, however, was run down. Our premium covered porch room ($400/night) had peeling paint, a cracked window, missing window locks, and a noisy antiquated heating system. We cut short our trip by a day because we didnt want to sleep there for a third night. I wouldnt return unless they invested millions to upgrade the rooms.
Positive: The location, history and comfort of our room. Negative: Hotel was great along with their staff.
I cannot begin to describe how disappointed we are with the Gideon Putnam. We decided to come for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. I was so excited because I had always heard how beautiful and opulent the Gideon Putman was.We pulled up and the hotel looked beautiful! The location is perfect! Saratoga State Park is gorgeous! But that is were the fairy tale ended.First, the parking lot is so far from the hotel. It wasnt horrible because it was a beautiful evening and the scenery is stunning. So after the hike I walk into the lobby. Now it is like a Stephen King novel. Gorgeous from the outside but once you walk in, it changes. None of the expected opulence or elegance. Just old. I take the elevator up to our floor and walk into the thoroughly unimpressive room.Within two minutes my wife screams dont unpack, we are not staying. The room has bugs. BUGS!! Ten or more of the biggest earwigs I have ever seen. On the wall, the windows, and the bed.So we go back to the front desk and tell them. The desk clerk acted as if it it was perfectly normal, saying because it is in a state park, they cannot use pesticides. We are given a different room; no sorry or anything. So after fighting to get the luggage cart up a ramp that can not possibly be by code and into this tiny room we check for bugs - finding none we then unpack. I sit down on the bed which feels like a stone slab with a foam pad on it and survey the room. The carpet is stained and worn. Very worn. I turn on the fan on the AC system and it sounds like someone threw a bag of rocks in a tumble dryer. The industrial gray walls give the warm feeling of a medium security prison. The bathroom is about 90° and the ceiling is cracked plaster with paint peeling off. We live in a house built in the 30s with plaster walls and ceilings that look nothing like the walls in this room. The power outlets on the lamps do not work and the metal ball the security bar catches has been ripped off the door as if someone ran out of there in horror. After about an hour of laying on that medieval torture bed, we called the front desk and told them we were canceling the next two nights. Again, no were sorry or what can we do to make things right? They didnt even ask why!To wrap this review up, I see where the owner replies to many reviews with the fact that he has spent millions on remodeling. Honestly, I can not see it.My wife booked us into the Saratoga Casino Hotel. The place is gorgeous with beautiful rooms and comfy beds.Save yourself the hassle and money (the room was cheaper to boot) and skip the Gideon Dumpton.
My wife and I are devastated that the Gideon Putnam canceled our wedding twice. The second time was two weeks before our wedding. Our familys had already drove down to New York from out of state and it was extremely embarrassing to have to tell them the news. 2 weeks was not enough time to plan a whole new wedding. We were not given any prior notice both times that they canceled. My wife had to hound them for a simple answer of what was going on with the hotel and they led us on saying they would have our wedding for sure! Trying to get ahold of anyone helpful at the hotel is like pulling teeth. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend planning an event there. We were having trouble planning this wedding with them even before the corona virus started.
Visit the Roosevelt bath house and rejuvenate and replenish your soul. A must stop when visiting Saratoga.
One of the premier places to stay in Saratoga Springs, located right in the historic state park and with a short walk to golf, the automatic museum, spa’s, natural springs, and one of the best music venues in NYS....SPAC. Hotel staff is always friendly, hotel is clean and recently renovated which includes a new elevator. Prices reflect SPAC events and track season. 5 minute drive to downtown, but easy to get an Uber or food delivery. Never a bad time to stay at the Gideon. Only reason it’s missing it’s 5th star is some of the rooms are still very dated, and cost can spiral rather quickly during events.
It’s a really nice hotel in the park. I wish hotel’s staffs are more attentive and friendly.
A traditional inn, very comfortable and elegant. Recently remodeled, the heat and air conditioning along with the insulated window blinds keep the rooms exactly the way you choose. We love this place! Oh, and that doesnt begin to describe the beautiful state park with mineral springs and Roosevelt baths! We cross country skied before our mineral baths and massages. Feel great!
Beautiful location in its day Im sure it was beautiful kind of hard to figure it seems like its been effected by covid but room furniture needs upgrade and room rugs should be replaced with hardwood bathrooms were small but cool windows opened witch i liked but if your in the woods you need screens
I think this old place has seen better days. It is not a bargain and it is not luxurious. A Hilton provides better rooms and often at a lower price. Paint peeling in the bathroom, drains do not drain. Its beautiful and its surroundings are very beautiful. But when you want a good nights rest, it lacks the basics that you come to expect for the prices they charge.
A lovely hotel. The room is a little small but it is fully renovated. It was a good experience to live in a hotel like this with decoration and history back to the old days. The on-site restaurant offers good weekends brunch and the dinner is good as well. It is really a quiet place sitting in the center of the park. If you dont like noisy hotel right besides the highway, this one would be your choice.
Stayed at beginning virus outbreak locally. Room was clean and comfortable. Ordered take out dinner for our room to limit social interactions which was good. Next morning the Breakfast “buffet” was pathetic. Better fare at local convenience store. Inhospitable older woman working breakfast needs refresher course in customer service that of course assumes she has a trainable disposition. Debatable. Unfortunate.
Stayed there this past weekend, Christian at the front desk was awesome, great attitude, upgraded us for free, excellence service, will be back.
First time visit, one night stay. Front desk and staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was fine without any concerns.Only negative was the in house restaurant. The bar and main room looks cozy and quaint, but we were seated in the portico area.Really, the portico, perhaps in summer is a useful overflow space. But in winter, it really is simply a hallway between the cozy main dining room, and a function room( read noisy 16 year old birthday bash) I have no problem with a gathering of teens for a party. But was disappointed the restaurant management thinks the portico seating area is usable. My advice to guests, if you cannot be seated in main area, head into town.My advice to restaurant management, stop using the portico area as part of the restaurant.Face it- its a hallway.
Wonderful stay inside of the Saratoga Springs Park. Lovely staff who was accommodating and friendly! Neat hotel with lots of character, history. Very nice without being stuffy or pretentious. It would’ve been nice to see a vegan option or a dairy free option other than fruit on the breakfast bar, but it was free so I can’t complain.
Classy and lowkey hotel. An awesome option in Saratoga, even in the midst of winter. Rooms were nicely appointed. Overall, the facility was clean, well-maintained, and very customer service oriented. Continental breakfast was just right, with a nice selection of hot and cold options. Front desk staff was very pleasant and common areas were inviting and cozy. Lots of doggos staying in the hotel and guests often congregated in the lobby around the fireplace. Highly recommend and will be going back!
The shower could use a grab bar . I almost fell out. Luckily the sink was there. Got a workout in And a continental breakfast was included at no extra charge .. Water in the lobby was nice and infused with fruit. Some negatives were the pillows were too big and puffy. Created painful neck issues. Could not get comfortable. .
The spa was wonderful as usual. I spent about $1000 for 2 of us for spa treatments which is to be expected and well worth it.However, the hotel has done some refurbishing that I would not consider upgrading. Just some new bathtubs and such. We opted to go green which I love doing whenever possible. Now, heres the thing that caused the rating of 3. The restaurant wasnt good at all. Years ago the food was excellent and the dining room was clean and rustic. On our recent visit the breakfast buffet was filthy from breakfast buffet the day before. Egg droppings were in the same place on the countertop from the day before. The dirty waffle maker was still on the counter when we went down for dinner that night. Needless to say we turned around and went into town to eat. The ceiling is still stained and damaged in several places as it was from the year before. If the restaurant were cleaned and upgraded and to the standards it was years ago ( when it was a very intimate dining experience) it would have been a 5.
Great location and close to cool town of Saratoga. Excellent included shuttle service. Certain areas of the hotel could use some updating but value is there for price paid.
There is a reason why this hotel gets so much acclaim in Saratoga Springs. Its full of elegance, and convenience. I was surprised a visit to this lavish hotel by my fiance for our anniversary. They had brought wine and chocolate covered strawberries to our suite. Both delicious! The rooms are clean and fresh. The tub was huge! I do cleaning as a side job and I can tell these maids know how to keep the place tidy. I did get to see the regular rooms and they are very cozy. Keep in mind this is an old building, you will see wear and tear around and smell its age. I think it only adds to its charm. If you choose to deny turn down service you are gifted with free drinks at the bar and water bottles to enjoy the fresh spring water around the park. I still use the water bottle a month later! Another great perk is they offer a free shuttle service from the hotel, into town, and back! The front desk was super helpful, nice, and consistently made our stay memorable. The park is a lot bigger than youd expect so spend a day enjoying its peaceful landscape! Also take a trip to the education center, their environmental educators are so nice and give you great tips about the park.
Great place to stay during a snowstorm or blizzard. The walls will protect you!
Beautiful historic building in the gorgeous Saratoga Park! The room was just what we needed for our visit, and they even had a pack and play to give us for our daughter. Very convenient! The staff was all so nice and accommodating, especially with our 1 year old. The only thing we noticed that could have been better was the cleanliness of the bathroom in our room. Otherwise we loved our stay! I definitely recommend staying here if youre planning to visit the area.
An elegant hotel with strong customer service. Spend a morning walking the geyser Trail in adjacent Saratoga Spa State Park, have lunch by Victoria Pool in the flowersand porticos, listen to the crickets from rockers at the ferry entrance as darkness swallows up all but the hotel. For off season. The food options were fine. The staff is friendly, talkative and genuinely interested in your stay
Third annual visit to the Gideon a couple weeks ago. I sleep so well here which is unusual in a hotel. Recommend the porch suite though it was chilly on this visit. Great walking trails and very convenient to Saratoga restaurants. Shuttle driver was fantastic for our large group Saturday outings. Staff was accommodating. Our conference is moving elsewhere in the state, but this was a location I will miss. Hope to return for pure recreational visit.
The location is historic. Surrounded by nature, you cant help but feel relaxed. If you enjoy a blast-from the-past experience, youre in the right place!
Just walked the grounds of this old and lavish facility
Place is a major let down ! My lady booked it because of it being in Saratoga and spac ! Not only does every guest have a pet but the rooms have fleas . We went out to our dinner reservations came back to sleep and I woke up to two giant bugs crawling on the window
Large, well appointed rooms. Excellent restaurant in house, and great for meetings, conferences, or weddings. Located in Saratoga Spa SP; the grounds are gorgeous and there are a lot of recreational options essentially on site.
I love the location, the beauty of the surroundings, the water springs nearby and the kind folks in the front desk and housekeeping.Again, front desk and housekeeping were very nice and accommodating with some special requests we made. The restaurant I would give a lower rating, both for food and service. They are very uptight about timing and made me feel uncomfortable about arriving to breakfast 15 minutes before they close. So I took breakfast to go, to not “inconvenience” them. But other than that, this place is awesome!
We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary at the hotel 2/29-3/4.On the 29th we did our vow renewal in front of the fireplace in the lobby. I can not say enough about the staff in this hotel. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The suite we had was so nice beautiful and comfortable. Oh and the rose petals left on our bed along with the choclatecovered strawberries bottle of champagne the staff left in our room was such a nice touch. The brunch on Sunday is a must. Love this hotel and its staff. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful!.
Went to the Putnam to see glass blowing. Was not open. Very nice hotel and the oldest in Saratoga Springs, NY. Has bin remodeled and has great looking rooms. Never stay there BUT only here good thing about this hotel.
Perfect place for my sons wedding and reception. Outstanding food, staff and beautiful place for photographs.
I liked nothing about it. The park it was located in was beautiful. There was a window air conditioner in my room. How ancient is that. No room service...and the list of negatives goes on
What a beautiful hotel with tons of history and wonderful staff. Will definitely be back!
Athough the grounds are beautiful I was disappointed in my room. There was no refigerator nor honor bar in the room. The kitchen was open very limited hours. When I arrived the elevator wasnt working. The staff was friendly, but the desk clerk who waited on me was incompetent.
Beautiful restaurant and hotel,, service was great,, love the location, it’s near saratoga performing center,, beds was very clean and comfortable,, it’s very affordable too
I went there for a Young Living meeting. It was a nice place. The bathroom was clean and spacious.
Beautiful restored classic hotel. Excellent staff, service and restaurant.
Very relaxing the couches are buttery soft the fireplace is very romantic for a nice weekend in the winter highly recommend it
Beware Room 320 has BedBugs!I reported it to the manager at the front desk but this was kind of met with a doubt rather than a compassionate response. I was told that hotel will bring a remediation company but I decided to checkout. Room itself is from 1960s at best. screaming for major overhaul. Hotel is very dated and needs lots of renovation work, tons .
The location is wonderful and our room was nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar staff are terrible. The bartender was inattentive and unwelcoming. During lunch time, there were dirty dishes left in the outdoor eating area from breakfast/brunch. The dirty dishes smelled and had bees flying around them. I had to notify our waiter to clean them.
There were fruit flies in our room during our stay. We could not determine the source of the flies. I notified the front desk and was told that no other guest at the hotel had complained of fruit flies that day.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds all in all a great experience, will definitely return
Beautiful hotel in the middle of a state park. Highly recommended for a getaway
Love this place!!! #1 hotel in Saratoga!!
A beautiful hotel
Old School hotel on picturesque State Park grounds . . . adjoining historic, old school spa . . . beautiful, historic area of New York State . . . hosts conventions
Extremely convenient to SPAC. The dinner we had was fantastic this day was wonderful
Ate at the restaurant right before a spec show. I have to say, they have one of the best burgers I have ever had. Also, the patio area is beautiful overlooking the golf greens.
I booked a wedding room block 13 months prior to my daughter’s wedding date and it’s been a total nightmare. I finally had enough with the horrible customer service that I cancelled today. The hotel is in very poor condition especially the function halls.I went to visit other hotel properties and must say we received the RED CARPET treatment and customer service went over and above from the Hampton INN and Grand Pavilion.
I was hoping this would have been better, an I am not a complainer. But this place was a total disappointment! Room never clean, dirty windows, bathrooms floor . Ask them to get spider webs out of corners, they never showed up to even clean the room (the entire day). The air conditioner must be 30 years old ( noisy ).Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, But rooms are terrible. Stay elsewhere and visit the grounds.
Weve stayed here several times as part of a conference my husband attends every year. This time was certainly better than one stay in the past when we were on the 4th floor, it had a musty smell and there were ants in the bathroom. We were on the 3rd this time. Room was clean and a nice size. Nice view of the back gardens. Bathroom was quite small and cramped. Outlets/charging ports: Yes, this is a standard part of any hotel review now. There were 2 charging ports on the alarm clock which was tethered to one side of the bedside table, some plugs behind the bedside table that were nearly inaccessible, a few outlets on the side of the big desk(about half worked.) Anyway, it would be nice to have accessible outlets on all sides of the beds and have them all working. The first day, we left in the morning for several hours but the room still hadnt been cleaned when we got back, so we just skipped it. They did provide Towels. Coffee maker and fridge, no microwave.Restaurant: Putnams. Weve mostly eaten breakfast here. The food is very good, a bit pricy($65 for breakfast for 2 adults, 2 kids, with beverages.) There is no kids menu for breakfast, only lunch/dinner, which probably accounts for some of the increased cost. I had the chorizo wrap with no chorizo:) Eggs, cheese, spinach, potato medley in a flour tortilla. Comes with purple, orange and red potato medley which was a bit salty but tasty. Good coffee. Good, friendly service.
Nice setting and lots of walking trails to explore. Conference Centre is a bit stuffy and dry to spend all day in. Staff are friendly and courteous and the menu was tasty.Rooms are clean and nice but the whole building was hot! It was the winter and we were sweating all day long.
Went to a childrens event calledMusic all around brass. Presented by the Philadelphia orchestra. Was very well done. Adult and children truly enjoyed
Beautiful hotel, but the internet speed us terrible. Makes a business meeting difficult.
The hotel in itself is beautiful with so much vibrant history, but I encountered a racist/ discrimination at the restaurant part. One of the waiter, a female refused me services and asked that I leave the restaurant, that she didn’t want to serve my kind. It’s truly a long story and one that truly traumatised me. I don’t wanna put the entire establishment down because of one person, but being a person of colour? I’m not sure I’d ever set foot there again.
This place is wonderful. Friendly staff, good food... just a great place!
A very high end hotel that offers all your needs
Went with our corvette club for an indoor barbecue. Awesome time.
Great atmosphere surrounded by park views and tall pines, secluded but close to everything and amazing walking biking trails, lunch was exceptional great mixed drinks professional staff and great golfing. It has it all!!
If you are looking for an old fashioned style place to stay this is the place to be. Its like going back in time. The hallways have a hit of the shining which is creepy and cool. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms are very clean. The hotel does have a different smell but its not bad, its just the smell of an old building. The fireplace has real wood and also emits a nice incense smell. There is also a shuttle that takes you on demand to wherever you want to go in Saratoga Springs. The only negative is the in hotel restaurant. The waitstaff is attentive and amazing but the food lacked flavor. I had the flat iron steak amd it was not at all what I expected.
Went for Thanksgiving buffet. Food, as always, was wonderful. A great variety although I found the buffet area itself small and the layout could have been a bit better. The small area made for quite a line of people getting their food. The staff was friendly and efficient and I had nice conversation with the head chef. My family is ready to back for Easter.
Beautiful place, beautify rooms, fantastic food, but overall a really poor experience. We reserved a block of 8 rooms and overall spent well over 3 hours on the phone over 6 phone calls to reserve and still they were wrong when we arrived. Registration staff were mostly rude (they are probably used to reservations being wrong, but still no reason to be rude). Rooms were nice, but many problems with heat and air conditioning. Various species of insects were also guests in our rooms and had no intention of leaving. We were there for a conference and I was an organizer - the conference staff were extraordinarily incompetent and even double booked our event (how does that happen???). Both the mens and womens toilets in the conference center were flooded for an entire day. The place was unbearably hot the first day. Some real bright spots though: (1) Food was incredible and the food service staff both in the restaurant and the conference center were fantastic. The Bellmen were great and really tried to help us through some tough issues (clearly they had a lot of experience trouble shooting customer complaints!) The Gideon is located in a beautiful park and is located in a truly beautiful setting. The room we had (a suite) was beautifully furnished and comfortable except for our insect companions. Overall, this place could be so much better with good management who provide consistent training to their staff and enforce high quality standards.ADDENDUM: After I posted this review, I spoke to Rebeca at the Gideon Putnam Hotel. She was quite gracious and promised that she would work with the staff to resolve the issues that I noted. I was extremely impressed with responsiveness. I am certainly willing to visit again to enjoy the wonderful rooms and the great food.
Great atmosphere throughout. Bar staff quick to the pour and great burger. Have to come back for more.
Hostile to bicyclists! I called the reservations department with a question about their junior suite. In the course of a really absurd conversation, I discovered that the hotel will not allow guests to bring bicycles to the room. Nor do they provide a secure place to store them overnight elsewhere. I was told that I could not bring our bikes past the front door, and that the best solution would be to keep them in our car. None of this is posted on their website.I was told that the hotel has been recently been renovated, and they want to keep it clean. This is absurd. They allow dogs in the hotel. My bicycle doesn’t jump up and down on the furniture and bedding, and I assure you, is cleaner than a dog.It was suggested to me that we rent bicycles from the hotel. This again is absurd, as we are on a bicycle vacation, and that still doesn’t solve the overnight storage issue.Rules are rules. The Gideon Putnam decided not to rent to us because of our bicycles. By the way, in dozens of states this is the first problem of this sort. Most hotels enjoy our business.
Decent rooms, nice bathroom. The breakfast in the morning is not good at all... bad warmed over breakfast sandwiches and the woman running the breakfast gave me a hard time for taking 2 coffee cups for the hot coffee instead of using a sleeve. Not a good way to start your day. I won’t stay again.
As an Event Planner for my organization, I truly appreciated the helpfulness and kindness that the staff gave me. I would definitely recommend hosting events here - the food is wonderful, the location is lovely and the staff are all great!
We are there every year and I enjoy every aspect of our stay
Very charming place. Not a modern place but a beautifully classic hotel. And talk about the perfect location. Walking distance to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, the historic town pool and rental bikes. Very nice staff. And Eric, who works at the front desk did a fabulous job arranging for flowers for me for my wifes birthday.
I am attending a conference at the Gideon Putnam. I only stayed for one night. The room was NOT clean. The Keurig had 2 inches of dust on it, the refrigerator had brown mold in it. I need a refrigerator as I am diabetic and follow a special diet. I did get a new one, but it did not get cold. I was told it was not to keep anything really cold and I could put my medication at the front desk refrigerator. I would never let my medication out of my possession and place it in a lobby refrigerator. In addition, when I woke this morning, my sinus were so swollen from the dust in the room, I had to move to another hotel. The manager actually had the gaul to give me attitude. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I asked for a refund for my prepaid stay.
What a nice place to staylittle out dated but nice...may be time for a renovationbut the grounds are amazingfriendly staffhighly recommend
The Gideon Putnam is a gorgeous venue for events, weddings, and more. The attention to detail in the architecture, the over all cleanliness of the building, and the vibe of luxury oozing from every room is amazing. Would recommend this venue for anyone looking for an upscale location to host his or her events.
This is a beautiful hotel. We stop by there for lunch. The food was delicious.
Rooms are a bit dated but you can’t beat the easy walk to SPAC. They offer a shuttle to the venue but easier to walk back (5mins max) on way back because of concert traffic.
Stately, but not stuffy. The GP is beautiful, the grounds spectacular, and the proximity to SPAC make it a perfect place to stay for a show.
Ordered the tuna burger and it was even better than I was expecting. Complimentary Saratoga chips were definitely nice, and they had a good variety of beer on tap. Service was good and quick, no complaints!
Pretty fancy, but staff are generally helpful too
Im going to be real here.....Ive stayed at some really great places for a third of the cost of this place and had 5 times the experience. Yeah, I get it, history blah blah blah. Save your money, stY at the Garden Inn down the street and send me 10% of the difference as a tip. Youll thank me later.
Building and site is beautiful. Rooms have a musty old smell. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice. Carpets are old worn and thin. Staff is cool and rather aloof. We were there on a very low weekend night. It was though we were invisible to staff. No real warm greetings or help.Disappointed because it holds such possibility.
Spent three days at a conference. Food was excellent, service wonderful. Would reccomend to other businesses looking for location for meetings. Beautiful grounds, peaceful atmosphere, historic location
The hotel is beautiful and historic, but the size and quality of the rooms seems wildly inconsistent. On business travel, I had a tiny 1 bed, my colleagues room had like an adjoining sunroom and was a whole suite. We paid the same price.... thats really annoying.I think I am allergic to the hotel. My sinuses stuffed within 10 minutes of arriving and cleared anytime I left the building.
Staff very courteous. Very helpful in explaining me the direction of various attractions. Room was clean. Bartenders helped me with plates and forks when I brought food from outside and eat in my room.
Our favorite place for Sunday brunch. Great food, great service. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it. The best thing is they never rush you. We have lingered there for three hours.
My fist time, hopefully not the last. A great family friendly hotel. Next time Im bringing my dog!
Excellent Mineral SPA, accomodations, restaurant, park to walk, and meditation.
We visited the Gideon spa great service. Darlene gave us an amazing rejuvenation treatment. Would like to see more amenities in the spa bathroom very limited
The room was so much smaller then the the picture showed, the large cracks in the door allowed the light to shine through the into the room, the refrigerator made a horrible noise all night and there was a loud banging noise every 30 - 40 minutes. Worst night sleep in a hotel in my life. I told the manager and she said we should of called to tell them and offered no reimbursement. For the location and the price, we where not impressed at all
My fiancee and I had a wonderful time here. The Gideon Putnam was clean, inviting, and has an exquisite interior. Will be returning.
