Positive: Close enough to downtown, yet very quiet. It is very clean and the room is sanitized.

This was our first time visiting Saratoga Springs, New York. We planned it for our one year wedding anniversary. We were excited to stay at this hotel as it was a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the town.We also loved that it had the casino as well, so we had some entertainment at night. We felt very safe and felt that the precautions the hotel took for Covid were appropriate. Looking forward to coming back again.

We love staying at this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is excellent. Location is also a plus being only minutes from downtown Saratoga and the racetrack.

The hotel was beautiful. They are following all the covid protocols. We had a relaxing stay. The only change due to covid that was inconvenient was having to walk outside to get to the casino.

IT was my first time Ever at the Saratoga Casino Hotel. The Bastwick Suite we were in was very classy loved How Classy and Clean an Sanitized They had Decorated the Suite. The workers was so polite,even when I misplaced my cellphone Security held on to it and I got it back. Thank you to The Nice Older Gentleman .. looking forward to seeing the horses Race one day.cause Ive never seen that before. Blessings.

It was fantastic!!! I had such a good time. It was very very clean in there. I was watching as members of the staff cleaned off the machines and the ATM machines. Everything!!So I did feel better seeing them doing all that. It was great getting out of the house and enjoying myself.

The hotel is beautiful. Most amenities were not available due to Covid19 ie breakfast, restaurants, shuttle. The front desk service was very efficient and courteous. We were NOT pleased that they are holding $50.00 per reservation for Incidentals and we could not get a receipt!!

Just returned from the casino. Only word I can think of is...depressing. I realize they just reopened but still. Atmosphere glum, subdued. Bars closed so nothing to drink, alcohol or otherwise. ONE atm machine in the back. So if you are in the front room you are out of luck. No one was winning at all. I know its gambling, but one would love to just play for awhile. When you put in $100 and bet 1.00 you would think after 100 spins one inside game would appear. The far back section is closed off even though machines are lite up. I know our wonderful governor is behind this but still. Turning stone is going all out. Restaurants, free play, promotions etc. Nothing at Saratoga. Will be a long while before I go backy sorry to say. Disappointed.

This place was horrible. they stole $200 from!!! haha just kidding. thats what I lost. it was a great experience even durring covid. constantly cleaning. friendly as can be and informative. first time in a casino and loved it. I was worried about the size of it and if I would find games I would actually like. they didnt fail me.

Greeted by Darlene L. Was not polite. Improper mask wearing. Darlene L. Had nails longer than an inch and as yellow as a daisy, but let me tell you those things were nasty. How can you properly wash your hands or sanitize with nails like that. Her mask was never worn correctly for the duration of our check in. Her poor co worker was pushed against the wall well within a ft of her...not wearing her mask. Our room was dirty, shower had mold in it and our curtains didnt shut all the way. Not impressed. I will stay elsewhere from now on.

Room was Beautiful and Clean, but no Microwave. Staff was Very Professional and Polite. Will come back for a Visit.

Cant wait until Como opens NY! This Hotel is gorgeous! Mortons Steakhouse was phenomenal! Our waiter, Christian, was supurb! We had a blast in the casino. Everything was sanitized, both the casino and our room. I felt safe. One of our favorite places! Trump was right. The front entrance to open Nov 2nd. Great timing. Vote Trump or be locked down again!

Clean and ppl seemed to be adhering to mask policy in common areas. Room was clean however there were no towels or toiletries in the bathroom. After a call to front desk someone came quickly with everything we needed. Beautiful grounds with free bike rentals that you can take to Saratoga park. We initially booked this hotel for a weekend in lake George but found Saratoga Springs to actually be a much more charming city. Enjoyed our stay here and will consider coming back when the casino opens.

Stayed 2 nights on a girls trip. We felt very comfortable in the 2 queen room. Plenty of space for us 4. The refrigerator did freeze our wine and cheese that we put in it so that was kind of disappointing. Beds are veryy comfortable. We enjoyed the casino and actually won some money. We had a little banner we were hanging in the room and called to the front desk to have scotch tape brought up. They said it was no problem and was on the way. A minute later the front desk called us back to warn us not to damage their walls...I feltIt was rude and unnecessary. Also you do have to drive or uber about 10 minutes to get to downtown where the restaurants and bars are. I would probably stay closer to downtown if I visit again just to make things more convenient.

What a lovely place to stay while visiting Saratoga Springs. We ate in Mortons Steakhouse and enjoyed our evenings by the outdoor fireplace

We stayed at the hotel for one evening we were supposed to stay for two evenings. Due to a family emergency, we had to leave Saturday evening at 6:30. A gentleman at the front desk after we checked out told me to call the manager to see if we could have some money refunded after speaking to him he told me no money could be refunded because they were not able to rent out the room.I would think amongst the pandemic that the rooms are not booked anyway and that they would accommodate period due to this experience I would not return to this hotel sadly and that is why I am giving it one star

The casino is kept very clean people wiping down the machines all the time. hand sanitizers are all over the place. Social distancing is a little difficult a lot of people are aware of it

Staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. The cashiers seem genuinely happy when you win, nice.

Great get away. Staff was all super friendly and so nice. Place is clean, smells good and not smokey so your eyes dont burn. So much to do there and in the area.

Wow, different experience post Covid-19s arrival. No drinks on the floor, no Vapor, reduced number of slot machines available to play. Place lacks the energy Im used to experiencing but alas I still ended up leaving poorer than when I arrived.

The food was good, but the service (except for the busser) was lackluster. The host was slow and not friendly, waitress seemed like shed rather be somewhere else. And who charges for refills on soda anymore?

Very lovely interior. Clean rooms. Was a great short stay for me.

I saw another review describe this casino as “sad and small” and well, that fits it perfectly. Low ceilings, tiny bar that is hard to find in a back corner, decor that is straight out of the 80s even though it is not old and non existent cocktail servers. I’ll pass! While I realize that this is really the only option in the area, this is a very poor version of a regional casino. Even brightening up the place and making the bar more of a centerpiece would do wonders. Only highlight? Lots of parking and it’s smoke free.

Mortons steak house was amazing great food amazing service.

Ordered the room via booking and they couldnt provide the room we booked and downgrade us. Aside for that the hotel is nice and clean. The Casino is currently closed due to COVID-19

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and I would recommend anyone to stay here. The staff was very friendly and if we needed anything such as towels or pillows to the room they brought them right away! Thank you all for being so welcoming.

Stayed overnight on business. Not a car in the lot. Nothing open inside. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time.Check in was at 3. Got there 30 minutes early. Room not cleaned yet. Since hotel is empty how can that be i wondered.Came back at 340. Check in was normal...for a ghost town. Decor is like something out of the Playboy Mansion. Gaudy, dark.Room okay. Nice view of the roof and mechanical eqt. If hotel is empty, would it kill them to give a decent view?Bathroom had used womens make up remover still on floor.Bed linens looked old.Very small pillows for a king bed.Realized quickly they must have dedicated rooms for us untouchables using web based discount hotel sites.Got ripped of badly at dinner at Mortons.No prices on menu. The staff didnt know the prices because they change every day. Was quoted $49.00 for a 12 oz filet. Turned out to be $62.00. Guy says well I warned you the prices change. Not funny to me.Neither was the fast one they tried to pull on me with the wine.6 times i tried to order a bottle of wine. High end Napa cabs. They advertise 2012 but they bring out 2016. No reflection of the obviously inferior vintage on the price of $180.00. We did this dance 6 times. End result, every bottle was wrong. I swear they must be doing it on purpose hoping the unexpecting customer doesnt see.Steak was dry and overcooked. Potato ($11.00 baked potato) came out raw twice. Third time right but i had finished the steak by then so i ate it solo.

Gorgeous well kept and clean

Hotel rooms are lovely, modern and clean. Sitting on the front porch rocking chairs was most relaxing. Bedding was comfortable. Room has a refridgerator. Watching the horse harness racing was thrilling too. Casino was clean, not to big,not to small. I would give more stars but the dining options missed the mark for me.

What a sad sad place. I think I could actually feel the covid from the patrons in the air.

I lost all my money. Then I lost all my wifes money. I cant wait to go back. I wont stop till all my familys public assistance is consumed by the machines with such pretty lights. They make my head feel better than real-life.

Everything was clean, people practicing social distancing, everyone wearing masks. The casino was closed but Mortons was open. Verrrry expensive to eat there. My fiance and I spent about $230 there. The pool was open as well. The stay was overall amazing. I will definitely will be staying there again.

Positive: Staff was friendly Negative: Casino was closed, restaurant closed, cafe closed, races closed. No restaurants open nearby, no way to cook food in hotel, not even microwave. No room service, couldnâ€t call front desk. Blanket was thin. But still somehow charged full price!!!! W

I stayed there in August with my daughter. I was there for business, and she accompanied me for fun, during her vacation. Even though this is mostly for adults, there was plenty for her to do there. The only downside for us was that the restaurants are located inside the casino and I could not go there with her as she was a minor. This was not really a problem for us though. The front desk staff were all very kind and helpful.

Beautiful Hotel, beautiful rooms.Great Japenese restaurant near by. Cant remember the name but its across from race track.Has fire pit and like an iron fence around it. Dive motels across the street.

I really like the free night stays in the hotel. The food at Mortons steakhouse is awesome. I do not care for the Buffet in the Casino.

This place us fun not as big as most casinos but its decent and the buffet is definitely good i do suggest going to eat there! Have not heard much good about the restaurants there though people forgot about at tables and poor service, save yourself the headach and hit the buffet. Play with caution everything here is digital slots, roulette, poker, and blackjack

Havent gone in a few years thought it would be a good change to our date night. The staff was awesome. Very helpful and pleasant to talk to. Very approachable. And I must say that our fellow guests were equally pleasant and easy to talk and enjoy the evening with.

Happy with covid procedures makes you feel safe

An alleged 4 star hotel charging for 5 mbps wifi... but you can have the 1mbps for free. Who goes to a 4 star establishment to be nickel and dimed? Not I. Add $5 to the nightly room rate or another $5 to the already overpriced steak or drinks. Just dont go through my pockets at every turn bc then youre making it obvious that you dont really draw a high end clientele. Or maybe one must book the presidential suite to get decent wifi these days. I guess times is hard. #FAKELUXURY.

Listen here folks, this was the worst experience of my life. My wallet had been stolen prior to getting to the casino. I went with an old group of friends. They refused to let me into the casino so I sat in the lobby while waiting. After 20 minutes, they came out and kicked me out and left me in the cold during a snow storm with no ride. I finally went into the hotel part of the casino to escape the cold and use the restroom. They then, came after me and told me if I did not leave the premise, I would be arrested. This is so disrespectful to do to a young lady who was just minding her business while waiting for friends. I was enraged and disappointed in their behaviors. Will NEVER be returning.

The hotel was lovely and so were the people at the front desk. The man with a french accent was adorable and so very helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I would definitely come here again.

No smoking YAY, thank God for Saratoga Casino!! Took 90 yr old Mom and she had a great time. And you know when Mama is happy everyone is happy. No huge wins but was able to play 4+ hours on a limited budget and brought few extra dollars home. Big smiles!

Such a fun casino. The dealers were so helpful and fun. Not to big and not to small. I loved they had $5.00 black jack tables. We had a fabulous time. Thank you.

Never made into the casino, we went there for dinner and a show in Vapors. The food and entrainment were very good and occupied all our time. Waking through the casino was inviting and we will go back to check out the gaming.

It was a beautiful landscaped property. We also loved the old carriage inside where we had our photo taken. Our room was beautiful especially the antique appearing wallpaper. Staff was friendly as well and the casino was a lot of fun

Beautiful place to visit

Nice place, great fun. After a day at the Thoroughbreds it is a short hop down to the casino and trotters. Both video slots and poker plus som video roulette. High limit slots are also in place. There is a dueling piano club that runs on the weekend which I highly recommend because we know most of the musicians and they are great fun.

The rooms are comfy & classy. The best machine in the casino is the .

Very nice hotel with well decorated spacious rooms. Pool, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit are very nice. Water temperature in showers are only like warm.

This casino is going through a renovation right now and thank goodness! Old and dated (and with a low ceiling), this place needs to up the ante, especially with Rivers within driving distance.That being said, theres a lot of history on that old floor and somehow I find myself swinging in when Im in the area

I don’t recommend this hotel at all. The service is bad and when I checked in there was no bellman cart. I had to go outside twice to bring in my stuff. The luggages are heavy. I needed cart but they don’t have one.

Was disappointed that new members were not given any free play for sign up but it was enjoyable

Nice rooms, beautiful setup for Christmas. Starbucks is only open until 2pm and they only have 1 employee so its slow. Also, didnt like that there is no type of store to get items you may have forgotten.

Alfred Bracy United States Army Military Police say the Saratoga Casino Hotel and horse racing is the best place to visit for entertainment hotel stay restaurants horseback racing and many more.

Brittney was very rude to me over the phone when I called asking for a reservation..she was not helpful or educated. As a concierge / receptionist myself I feel like she should have been nicer over the phone. If this is the type of management that Saratoga Casino Hotel has then I feel bad for all of the guests. I’ll take my business to a hotel whose management is nice and helpful!
