This is a private club with excellent food and amenities. The club offers tennis, swimming, yahcht slips, youth programs, and a variety of dining experiences. You are lucky if you get an invitation to visit with a member.

This venue is outstanding in every way you will literally get the best service in all of Sarasota. Whoever trains their wait staff is brilliant and probably doesnt get enough money because Ive never seen anything like it in the entire area. The food is delicious the drinks are lovely. You cannot beat the location it is certainly old world Florida at its finest with the emphasis on finest.

Impeccable service, gorgeous facility, wonderful location.

I truly wish Google would mark the private clubs. We did not have food or drink here. However the staff was rude to us when we mistakenly stopped in here to sample the menu. We were well dressed and well mannered and apologized for not seeing the tiny members only plaque at the main entrance. The lady that stopped us escorted us out to our car like we were casing the joint or something. I drive a very nice Mercedes and could buy ten memberships to this place not even blinking an eye. Would never be a member of a club that treats fellow human beings this way. I am a professional and all you have to do is direct me the exit I dont need a rude person escort me to the parking lot.

Hidden gem in Sarasota built in 1927

Perfect place for a wedding. The stAff and service were excellent and everyone said it was the best wedding food they ever had (steak and scallops). The grounds and views are very pretty, a perfect place on the water.

We go here for an annual event. Its a very nice club. It is on the Historic Register and appears to have a couple of different options for dining with a good staff and nice selection of drinks.

Beautiful luncheon, but not enough food for the price, I thought my salads were the salads, turns out it was the main course. A stuffed tomatoe and greens with a 2 sweet bread nibble. Appetizer was one 2 size piece of bread for a tennis luncheon. Get real, I play tennis and can eat a real meal, not worth $25

The Field Club is an elegant building in a lovely setting. It is perfect for large gatherings and an excellent spot for photos. Both the indoors and outdoors are magnificent!

The seating hostess that was on duty 6/21/19, 6pm for dinner, an older woman, blondish was rude, acted like it was her first time working. She shouldnt be the first person to greet your guests.

Disappointing dock staff. While I was planning on conidering membership here and have application, I have to get 2 referrals. That will never happen nor will I move my new vessel here. I broke down last night and simply tied to an empty dock. By mid mmorning when the dockmaster TERRY decided to ask if I was a member, when I explained what happened, the attitude was disgusting. He took a position and remonded me I am trespassing. I did tell him I was waiting for Boast Tow and he reminded me he could have SeaTow move me out. He didnt listen and was too busy pulling rank. For 25,000 membership fee I expect more professionism. The gentleman nearby said the club has gone downhill in thepast few years and that is a good example. I was leaving and I explained what happened. Very rude, Very Fake. Makes my decision easier. This is not how you treat people that break down boating. I was leaving and no one was at the slip.
