As a native Sarasotian, this has been one of my favorite places to be. Its simple, undressed up, and easy access to just be near the water.People party here, people vent here, people come here to just be with their friends and their ones and the most simplified form ever.You can just pull up, usually people go there and want to socialize if they get out of their car. Great breeze of course.

Great alternative for launching kayak to get to South lido mangroves on busy days where not much parking available. Great place to fish or just have a scenic picnic.

My favorite place to view the ringling bridge ...especially at night

Not one of the better places, but definitely not the worst either. Parking area needs serious grading and maybe some crushed shell or something. No seating so bring chairs! The shallows are great for wading and letting the dogs run. They can do more with the place. Fishing can be real good if you know what youre doing! I would give it a 2 out of 5 on my own personal list of places in the area.

Its local yocal but if you want to fish and launch a board it works.

We love the view, pelicans diving for fish as well as the other birds around there. Just wish the parking area wasnt so rough to drive through.

Awesome low key spot

The city guys from Sarasota do a fantastic job keeping the park clean. Also great views.

Great view of the unique birds that come to feed such as the pink spoon bill, also dont miss the beautiful sunsets and the Ringling causeway bridge changing colors at dusk.

Recently refurbished with a new Sea Wall, this is an excellent place to relax at a picnic table and enjoy a lunch. Its a wonderful spot to fish off the end of the park sea wall with spectacular views of Sarasota Bay to the North and the entrance to Roberts Bay to the South.

There are no facilities or activities provided, so dont get your hopes up for that. It is, however, an excellent spot to pull over and look out over Sarasota Bay. Its a personal favorite spot for a breakfast pickup or for quiet reflection at night.

Great spot to look for fish but sometimes its hit or miss. Allot of people take breaks to eat and relax. Dog go in the water . So pretty much if your fishing . You might want to try another spot.

A little ratchet. You always find at least one homeless person and people pull up and just start drinking beer but other than that a great place to go fishing.

A very small, sandy roadside park with an all too rare view of Sarasota Bay. - Fishing possible near the bridge and its underpath. Recently gated to prevent overnight camping. - Possible to launch a kayak from the seawall or walk the brackish sandbar at low tide.
