Some of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. I can’t believe so of this stuff is still around. I am happy some many other people share the same interest.
Visiting the Sarasota Classic Car Museum is a must if you love Cars. Give your self at least an hour to see all the cars. Really loved the attention to detail and the displays are very professionally set up. The amount of cars and amount of information is extensive. The Lady that greeted us at the front desk was very professional and had a great wealth of information of everything that was on display and about the Museum in general. This Museum certainly rates five stars and more.A great visit if you love cars!!!
A little pricey for a simple walkthrough, and had to pay for our 3 year old who barely cared. But the cars were really neat.
What a great collection of rare production cars, hot rods and customs. The staff was very cool, and we had a great time. A must see if in the panhandle
Very unique collection. Many are one-of-a-kind. You can also visit a Vintage Car dealership next to museum. You will be surprised by the number of cars in the premises. You get a free guided tour too! Chuck was a great guide.
We loved it. It so relaxing and nostalgic.
Finally, after visiting and living in Sarasota for many years, we took the time to tour this private museum of vehicles and more from our past. Truly nostalgic and now with a new twist. If you have a hankering to own your own piece of history, owner Martin will help you achieve your goal. So glad we finally took the time to tour this Sarasota classic.
There were about 80 cars on display from 1900 toodern day. Super neat to walk through and read about each car!
Very cool for what it is. Some extremely interesting cars there, some unique examples which is exciting. I would like more information on the cars. I was hungry to learn about more of them.Personally I felt the price of admission was fair for an individual.
Enjoyed looking at the carsSome very old and collectable some simply great automobilesVery interesting if you love carsStaff very friendly
It was great to see so many antique cars.
This place has the coolest cars in town to see! And you can get 10 old car magazines for only $3 and the sweetest staff you’ll ever get the honor of meeting, there’s some true history there.
Well worth it! If you love old cars, you have to come here! One employee was very informative as well, anytime we crossed paths he would share a quick story or details about the car we were looking at. Very nice.
Great place to visit; if your in Sarasota and love classic cars like my husband.
This place was great had a lot more cars than expected. Clean bathrooms as well.
Americas 2nd oldest car museum... There are about 90 cars total starting from the invention of automobile to present day. There are several once-offs which deserve a read on the info sheet. The outer area had cool cars but they could use some cleanup. And the old arcade games are a bonus, but should be collected all together and made a proper display out of {and cleaned}. Definitely worth it!
This place literally stinks! I have asthma and allergies so I had to take benadryl as soon as we left. The cars are very interesting. Theres also other antiques ie singer sewing machines and old arcade games. If you have respiratory issues either dont go or medicate yourself before going
Great little car museum...
Fascinating for old car addicts and those interested in car history and design.
Very good car collection wish there were more customers. Its a pretty good piece of history.
Interesting museum and nice collection of cars.
Small but packed with great cars.
Amazing museum! It transported me to the beginning of our automobile industry. Beautiful classic cars, all of you got to see this museum, highly recommended!
Very small museum; less than 100 cars. Some of the cars have been restored others are as is. You can take pics but you cannot touch the cars. Some of the cars are located in a back garage and it is unclear if they will be restored or moved to the main floor. It is definitely something to check out if youre in the area and into cars.
The kids and my husband were in their glory over the cars here!
Great collection and not an expensive place to visit.
Very nice and informative front desk person. Clean, organized mesuem with almost 100 cars by year.
Great for car enthusiasts. Many infamous vehicles on display.
Neat collection of cars. Staff was very friendly. It was a bit pricey, especially for kids. Some cars had an informational plaque but many were just there without introduction. In some ways it felt more like a private owners collection of cars that you could look at, as oppressed to a museum designed to educate. There was a great interactive exhibit demonstrating how old model drive shafts and transmissions functioned.
It was so interesting! I have been in multiple car museums, and this one is not the worst of them. I can note especially there is the John Lennons car.The surprising and also interesting thing was the car dealership at the back of the museum. Now i know i can buy antique car for reasonable cost... if i want
I love this place! It has a lot of really cool and unique vehicles like one of a kind prototypes, rare cars like Rivolta & Drag Race Cars, New and Old specialty vehicles, and so much more. An awesome collection of vehicles spanning the decades. The collection does not appear to change much but it is definitely worth a visit if you like vehicles and the history of them.
An eclectic and large collection of cars, with history boards for most of them. It gives a nice depth to the museum experience. Next door is a classic car dealer, where the cars are actually for sale, although at some very steep prices.
Cool cars. Porche and Ferrari display still there.
Cool place if you love cars and their history.
I was gonna pan this place, but by chance ended up meeting the owner as he locked up the building next door. Apparently the orange coloured fascist by the Nazimobile in the foyer is not an endorsement, and hes planning to get a Hillary one too so they can hold hands.Great eclectic mix of cars. All stuff Ive never seen before.
Charming spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some really interesting cars. I was surprised at some of the cars that where not represented when I was there.
Small car museum and not worth the entry tariff. Nothing here that cant be seen in another museum or on the street. Nothing unique or unusual. The bonus however is the free building next door which has a lot of interesting cars for sale albeit at dear prices.
Hi,We enjoyed our visit last week. The gentleman that gave us a guided tour is very knowledgeable and added a lot of facts that make the tour more interesting. Thank youJim Bennett
Large selection and good history for each piece
Beautiful classic cars - a must see for any car enthusiast! They let you roam around freely and dont restrict access. And they clearly post which car you cannot touch. Great little detour if you have time to kill.
Great selection of vintage cars. Some for sale!
AMAZING! They have sooo many classic vintage cars. Cars from John and Mable Ringling to prototype cars to Prowlers and Hellcats. The staff is absolutely the kindest. Cannot believe we found such a hidden gem in Sarasota. Great place for car enthusiasts. Also a cool place for non car enthusiasts!
A beautiful collection of Classic Cars and all kind of other curiosities!
Nice collection of classic cars.
This is a must see for any car enthusiast, awesome collection of rare and 1 off cars. Very exciting collection
Great collection of classic cars
Beautiful cars but smell so bat
Amazing and interesting place! Recommend to visit for all!:)
Nice place to stop if you enjoy looking at cars
All the cars were really cool to look at. Super old ones, unique ones, and new ones that are sporty. Boats, too. The building isnt in the best shape but its ok. Its also not a very huge museum for how expensive it is to get in. We finished walking around in about a half hour. Still really cool, though! I dont regret it. A good place to check out.
Renewed membership always fun to see.
This is a great place to go and see some incredible cars from the past that have been carefully taken care of and restored and maintained. Take your time and soak it all in and enjoy yourself!
Nice cars but a little too pricey
Nice collection, not worth the entry fee.
Well worth the admission price. Has cars from all over the world.
I really liked this place it had a smaller selection of cars but an amazing history of each vehicle and statistics of each car!
Great classic cars!
Very cool museum with lots of really cool cars. Easy way to spend a couple of hours looking at some really cool cars.
Amazing place. Been here as a kid and as an adult and it still is an awesome time. Great selection of cars from MG and Isorivoltas to Ferraris, Lamborghinis and 20s model Rolls Royce. The ONLY reason I gave the 4 star rating instead of the 5, was because of the price. We walked the entire facility by ourselves without a guide, in about 25min and paid $30. I expected a bit more for the money, but overall great time.
Nice showroom with many classic cars.
Nice museum with an odd selection of vehicles. The event they put on with the Beatles tribute band was great!
I wouldn’t give a dime to any place that displays anti American items when you walk in the door. The people were rude and the place needs a good cleaning and deodorizing. But when people try to throw their political views in your face, who needs em.
Awesome!! If love Cars youll Love this Place!!
Very interesting learned about a car that I never heard of. Great for a cold weather day or rainy stop.
Loved looking at the classic cars
Very nice collection of old vintage cars and newer high performance cars.
Interesting assembly of vintage autos. Many varieties. Worth a look by any car aficionado.
Nice selection of quality automobiles and collectibles. Well worth the cost of admission.
So many unique things to see!!! You can appreciate this even if youre not that into cars. A great learning experience to understand the founding fathers of many different makes of cars and the passion that drove them.
Neat place to spend about and hour maybe hour and a half. Not just cars, but boats and old motorcycles, and some other items. Staff was friendly and informative.
My husband and i really enjoyed our time here. I especially felt connected to Lincolns Hearse learned from Ancestry that a distant relative placed a wreath on the train that passed through town carrying the body to burial. The restroom was clean, classy vintage.
Great tribute shows! Very friendly people! If your in town checkout those acts!!
My partner is a big car enthusiast, seeing all the rare and antique car was cool to see, they have the Mazda Cosmo which was really interesting to see, I didnt know they only make a small number of the car.
There is a nice car colection, but little face lift of the museum could be good
A great place to reminisce in the past. I remember some of those cars growing.
Im not a big car person and I even loved this tour. The staff were very knowledgeable and walked around with us at no extra cost. The gentleman who did this is only there on mondays so make sure you go on that day. He was full of stories and interesting facts. He also made sure we saw all the cars before they closed (the ones for sale next door were closing earlier so he got us over to see those before continuing the tour). My husband enjoyed having the tour guide to talk to, he was impressed with his knowledge and friendliness. Some of the things we saw were: a replica of Abe Lincolns hearse, John and Mabel Ringlings cars, and cars dating back to the late 1800s with friction clutches.
Interesting place all years cars trucks boat motorcycles die cast collection motel cars place in side office has cars for sale almost bought one
Nice cars, but very little information regarding the cars themselves and no structure to the museum.
A fun place to visit, however there wasnt much beyond a static display..
Great Classic Car museum with a lot of cool reading and history about car companies in America. All in all, it will take you about and hour to go through here..
Must see for car enthusiasts. Classics cars for sale on one side, Museum on the other side. Go into back room of Museum to see some gems not on floor.
Great show
You have to love the cars. Salesman was nice, plus he is also a Porsche guy.
Awesome cars friendly staff
Beautiful vintage automobiles.
Really enjoyed the cars, kinda pricey tho
Kid loved the place, amazing collection of cars and vehicles.. Friendly staff
We love the armoured Mercedes for sale there!!
Just as we walked in there is a life size mannequin of [the name that shall not be spoken]. Debated awhile whether to stay. We decided not. Owner should reconsider bringing politics into a business. Everyone has a right to an opinion and as consumers, we have a right to decline spending our time and money. In addition, there was someone at the desk that did not greet us and couldnt care less that we walked in.
Great collection of cars plus a great visit to our past. Get out of the heat for a while and check out some rare cars that you never get to see in person.
Nice museum. First time there. A nice way to spend a rainy day.
Excellent car museum with large collection.
Unless youre really bored and you feel like spending 14 bucks an adult ticket, youre paying good money to look at some guys car collection, youre basically paying his storage fee
Visited the museum in 1966 when I was 10. I have a picture of my now deceased parents and my siblings in a 1906 autocar. Timeless memories
Small Gem of a car museum that you may miss if you make a beeline for the Ringling Museum across the street. Worth the time and effort to take in a visit, and you could probably do this in a hour or two with plenty of time left over to head over to Ringling. Lots of classic cars, and an impressive restoration area. They even have the last car that John Lennon owned, and some vintage household items like ancient sewing machines.
