Michaels

I love that I can always find what I need for holiday decor. They also have everything for your crafting needs. A big plus is you can usually always find a coupon for 40 or even 50% off a regular priced item so you dont have to buy it at full price!

This note is to compliment Melody in the Santee store. today 11/8/20 my wife and I toyed with the idea of going artificial Christmas tree. as we walked in she had full control on everyone in her radius which seemed a large area. she had multiple customers in hand and knew product and location like she was computer programed. her energy was something Ive not seen in years. I believe she sold everything in sight. her salesmanship was impeccable. if I was looking for someone to hire I would surely pick her. kudos to her. she upgraded me into the 178 Christmas tree which I am glad we bought.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Great sales today.I whish they still carried soap making supplies

This store always has a lot of cool stuff. Decorations and crafts are great here. Plus, stuff is always on sale and they have a coupon every week.

Perfect place for crafters, decorators, and artists. Creative passion flows through this place! I wish they had a credit card!

I used to LOVE Michaels! But I will admit its shocking to me that in three separate trips recently, theyve had NO acrylic pouring mediums. Its a craft store, right?

Favorite crafts store to shop at. Employees are always welcoming and helpful. Never leave empty handed

I go to Michaels a lot for my craft needs for quick trips. I use to buy a lot of embroidery floss but now have to go to Joanns. I spent an hour there looking for 2 colors. I was found quickly the other never found. They have the trays to keep things in order and use up run 100 through the end color so it was quick and easy. Now the trays are all mixed up and out of order. One tray looked like the label had been removed and colors just dumped in like the didnt have time to fix properly. My advice is if you need floss fast dont go to the Michaels in Santee.

Worker was a huge help in showing me what I asked for and went straight to it very helpful and I wasnt clear on what I was needing myaelf

Im a huge crafter and its a blessing and a curse to have Michaels almost walking distance from my home. Just an FYI, theres always a coupon, generally 40% off one item or other deals. Just look them up while youre pursuing and save some money! I hope to have free time later on in life to do knitting/crocheting/wreath classes.

Theyre doing a great job with changes needed to Covid-19. Curbside pick up is a dream. With two small children, this option is amazing for me.

Great sales. Has everything you need for crafts.

Do I Judge a Michaels by their Clearance Section - You Bet I Do!This Michaels has the most consistently organized clearance sections in all the stores Ive been in from La Mesa to Vista. Even their messiest section is pretty cleaned .All Michaels have reorganized stores and for the better. Be sure to check out their expansive glassware section, too.

Love all the products. Has great variety. And very knowledgeable workers. Thanks Michaels.

Great selection and really nice staff.

This store is so much fun!!! There are tons of options for anybody, from the casual crafter to the full blown artist. It always has absolutely amazing holiday sections and I can always expect great service when I go here. 10/10

Selection can be a little picked over in the jewelry crafting section, but they tend to have great deals and some nice treasures.

If you like to bake during the pandemic, I found pastry nozzle tips here.

This place and the staff always make me feel like Im at home

I love this place! They have everything, just about. The workers are always polite and helpful. I go there at least once a week. Its a pretty big store. Love their mobile coupons!

Nice store. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great sales.

My mother loves this place as she enjoys creating unique decorations. The staff is very pleasant and quite helpful when it comes to product selection and inquiries. The price can get quite expensive honestly, but coupons are almost always available in store or through the app.

The frame I wanted was on sale

Good service. No line when I went. OK...it was 9am. It has everything. Not much for the yarn selection.

Took two nice Afremov oil paintings in to get framed, and the service and result we got was amazing! Brian (??) helped us find a great frame solution that we could afford, and even got the mounting hardware installed and included wall hardware for us. Such great service.

Employees were helpful and nice even though it was really busy after reopening.

I hate shopping at Michaels but really stuck with Covid restrictions. I stopped shopping at Hobby Lobby because how they treated their employees with Covid closure. I tried curbside pickup and it took 3 days for 3 skeins of embroidery floss. Today I needed 1 skein. I spent more time in line than in the store. Only 1 cashier for more than 10 people waiting. They stopped the senior discount unless you join their rewards program. I wont join for the few items I buy and dont want to give them access to my personal info. I doubt management will reply. I wakois there today between 355 pm. Also no very small bags available for small items. Maybe someone could go to Costco and get some baggies.!

Arts and crafts you have to love Michaels! If you enjoy doing arts and crafts then you have to enjoy Michaels, they have things to spruce up your house for the holiday season or just to trick out your decor from construction paper to oil painting. They also appreciate the American servicemen forgiving a military discount. So thank you Michaels for thanking the American Veteran!!

I had a similar experience as Matt Det. Be prepared to wait til the next day to get your order. I ordered my 3 items online at 1pm. I called to follow up 2 hours later (since I needed the items day of) just for them to say it is not ready and they couldnt give me a estimated time. Finally received the ready for pickup email 6 minutes before they closed...

Always love going to Michales!

Love wondering around and finding all my goodies I need for my crafting !!!

Store is closed to Public so internet orders only.Make an order at 3:30, a 8 dollar order for two simple items. I call a Half hour later and I get a verbally short woman grilling me over my order. I admitted I did remember all the details. She snapped they have 150 orders to process and itll be a while at which point she hangs up on me with no warning. Almost 3 hours later I am outside the store and I get notification the order is ready, its 5:50ish. so I call. it rings for 5 minutes and hangs up. Confused I look to see the employees leaving while staring pointedly at me. Its just after 6pm. They let my call hang until after 6 then hung up on me and walked away. I will NEVER go to this store ever again.

Good prices on most things. A variety of items to look at.

Excellent prizes on artificial flowers in Tropical plants 50% off will recommend

I have used Michaels for years. They have great sales. Very good selection for those who do crafts or framing.

The store was stocked, walked in and picked up crafts for the kids only one person in line before me and was out of there quick.

Very busy and clean. Friendly staff.

I always use my 40% one item coupon and I live for it. I love arts and crafts. This store is amazing

The prices are a bit too dramatic for me.

If your into crafts this is the place.

Because I love all the sales and deals you get when youre a rewards member. Plus its never crowded and 98% of the time they will have what you need in stock.

Hadnt done wheel throwing since high school! So much fun and so relaxing. Sara was awesome! Patient and really knows whats shes doing. You can tell she really enjoys what she does! She was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor!

Unique decorations and artifacts for home or office. Great place to visit for holidays.

I lose all track of time when i walk through those doors. I pretty much have to walk down each isle sometimes twice... Love it!!!

Needed more than one cashier.

The store is well organized, and I got great help from one of the clerks.

Picked up an order, very easy, convenient, and quick!

Staff knows their stuff. But remember to ask for help if you cant find something. I like to check availability of items in store on the website and it also tells you the location of the items. Website also has ads with coupons when available, so remember to print them out as a plus. Only downside is that theres no need for multiple cashiers if its the arent a lot of customers on a particular day. But staff is really friendly so you cant really get mad with them.

Lots of products. Great art suplies available.

Christmas stuff galore! Great variety of items. Service was a bit slow due to only one then two registers open.

Good variety of products at a good price. Very helpful staff.

I love this store.

Great variety of craft supplies. Always something to be inspired by.

Always a fun rabbit hole to go into!

Who doesnt love Michaels?

Went there to get a picture framed, when asked what type. She measures the print, and said one the floor would work. And yes it dose. She saved us about $50.00!Fall season sale, great service.,

So clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Great place for crafts.

Tha staff is always great. They are very helpful. My favorite Michaels store.

My family and I love shopping at Michael’s, but unfortunately when the cashier doesn’t greet you and has a face like she hates being at work and doesn’t even thank you, it makes it very unpleasant. Every customer needs to be treated with a pleasant look,

Hate the new Mission ValleyLocation ....setup poorly hard to find anything ...no clerks on floor to help you!!! Joannes much better selection.

They have a really good selection here but the prices are outrageous and it was hard to get help when I needed it

The best seasonal directions and choice of craft merchandise. Personnel is friendly and helpful. The checkout can be slow and needs nire cashiers. Other rhan that...2 thumbs up.

I like Michaels but the quality seems to have gone down on some things. My wreath from their flowers

Everything happy crafty. And always good coupons.

I love the huge selection there. Sure their a lil bit more pricey than Wal-Mart or the Dollar stores. But I can go into this store knowing if I have questions on a project, Im gonna get the answer and product Im looking for. Plus the staff are all very friendly and welcoming, on top of having knowledge of the products they sale

Had a piece of art framed. They did a wonderful job. The framing staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!

Really friendly cashier help me find an extra coupon which is always helpful

The best place ever, I received help from a young lady by the name of America in a framing Department. She was very delightful

The staff was very helpful with me and finding the items I needed, one item was only available online and I ordered it right away for shipping. They do charge for shipping.

A Great place to get your project supplies

Great selection of items for any crafty person. Always great prices and discount coupons available

I really love this store especially during the holidays they have all the cool items you need to make or just buy one of a kind items. Took 1 star off because my thinking is after all these years they could make checking out easier.

SLOW check out..long lines...bring your lunch!!

Usually have what I need at a fair price

My favorite store! Employees are always observant to ones needs and helps direct you instantly to what you are looking for. Friendly!

Everything for crafts, weddings, whatever you want. Found the wildflower look I wanted. They have a giant selection, and many things you never thought of. Very clean, organized, with friendly, helpful associates.

I hadnt been to Michaels for a few years. I was very impressed with how clean the store felt and how organized it is. They have almost anything you could need and its easy to find. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, Ill definitely be going back soon.

Great Customer service & my cashier was the best

They would do well to make the aisles a little wider so people in power chairs can get through little easier

Awesome easily yo find what was needed

Stopped in here for some origami paper -- and their selection was totally lacking. Half of the shelf-space was empty. As for everything else, its pretty much what youd expect at a chain arts and crafts store. Paints/pencils seemed a bit pricey compared to what you can find online.

LOVE THIS CRAFTS STORE!!!! Always has what I need.

Consistently provides what I need for a variety of crafts and projects

Vast choices, relaxing atmosphere, smelled great, friendly staff. If somethings not on hand theyll call another store for you

Best Store . Love shopping there.

Great shopping center. When I was at this store. I was in line at the checkout for 15 minutes or so. There was only 1 register open for 20 people.

They had the best deal with their candles, just wish that they had a bit more smell to them. Otherwise a great store for craft deals!!

Seems to be a great Michaels. My only concerns were that the yarn selection seemed somewhat limited, and the line was super long when we were there, despite having 3 cashiers. The employees were very helpful and friendly :)

Michaels is the place to go for arts and crafts in San Diego. It recently acquired Aaron Bros, so they now have a framing department. I already had a poster framed with them, and it was great, Aaron Bros quality. They usually have coupons that you can pull online when youre at the store. The only reason I dont give it more stars is because they tend to be constantly understaffed.

Great place for crafting supplies.

Fun to shop at Michaels -- lots of neat stuff for crafts and decorations.

Didnt have alot of selection left because of the holidays Im sure

Fun store, good prices. Always inspires the talentless.

They were having one of their Spring sales and the prices work amazing. The sales clerks did a good job of being pleasant and yet keeping the line moving along

Awesome! Found everything I needed.

Best Chinese in El cajon

I’ve just recently visited this Michael’s to get a print framed and I am very pleased with my experience. The pricing was affordable and the whole process was professionally handled, I got exactly what I paid for. Brandon in the framing department did an amazing job with helping me pick out the right frame and mat for my print. Highly recommend it for any framing needs.

I love Michaels because I can go there and get plain white t-shirts because I do a lot of tie dye work and they always have them and many different sizes and most of the time I can catch him on sale which is great

Great prices! Friendly employees! Nice variety of craft stuff!! I love buying their $1 sticker booklets for my kids, they last us a long time.
