Amazing experience start to finish. I was expecting a quick tour with some Q & A at the end but boy was I wrong. I don’t want to give anything away because you have to experience it yourself to fully appreciate it. Highly recommend.

When I first arrived, I thought it was kind of sketchy - this guy inviting me into his basement, promising me the stars? Well let me tell you this: he delivered. From the moment I entered, it was like stepping into a movie scene. These 5 stars dont do justice to the stars you will experience on Alecs breathtaking tour through space. This show changed my perspective on life.

Alecs Planetarium Tours is quite possibly the best planetarium experience Ive ever had, and let me tell you Ive had more than my fair share. From the excellent customer service to the classy and refined decor, Alecs Planetarium Tours will transport you to another world, literally! Alec, the guide and owner, will take you through the stars as you visit the wonders and awes of our very own solar system (and beyond!)Make sure you take your shoes off before you enter, because otherwise your socks will be blown right through them!

This planetarium takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as you explore not only space, but Captain Loraine himself. I highly recommend staying for the Q and A portion. thank you, captain.

Alecs Planetarium is really a special experience. As a huge fan of the Planetarium at Griffith Observatory, I wasnt sure if it would meet my expectations. But it was everything and more. The doses of comedy that Alec inserts into the show really give it that extra piece thats missing from other planetarium shows. He is absolutely hilarious, yet still extremely knowledgable. I would highly suggest visiting if youre looking for something fun & different in Santa Monica.

Out of this world experience. One of my first shows on my trip to California and it blew me away (and everyone in the crowd) - Add this to the itinerary for your next trip to LA and you wont regret it. Just be sure to book in advance. Tickets sell out fast!!

Words cannot do this justice. Hidden location under a tech startup, its speakeasy meets planetarium show. If you want to spend 30 minutes traveling the solar system and laughing till your chest hurts, this is it! I felt like I was in a homemade Disney ride. 100% mind blown, theres nothing else like this. Note: its also the most creative first-date activity youll find in LA.PS - props to Commander Lorraine for handling the drunk heckler in the audience like a champ.

The only way to describe this is out there and unique, in the best way possible. I was referred by a friend to the show and I didnt expect much, but it ended up being one of the funnier shows Ive seen. Its a good mix of scripted & improv. Highly recommended!

Unreal experience. Went to Griffith last week and this blew that out of the water. Great for families (ages 13+ Id say). Cant wait to go back!

Alec does such a great job. I would literally go on any tour with this guy. He could make a butter tour interesting. Yes, a butter tour. Highly recommend spending a day with Alec!

Literally, out of this world. I havent laughed (or cried) that much in a long time. Line was out the door when I arrived for my 9:30 showing, but that was to be expected based on previous reviews, so it didnt bother me. In fact, the suspense leading up to the show was half the fun! The planetarium is located underneath some tech startup live work space (or something weird like that lol) and everyone there was SUPER friendly and welcoming. Im even applying to one of their summer internship positions now . All in all, fantastic show full of surprises, laugh out loud humour, and attractive entertainers. 10/10 will see again if Im in town.

It was really a roller coaster of emotions. For a fleeting moment I was really worried that I was in space. Made me question my existence, made me cry, made me laugh and got me pretty aroused at the same time. I highly recommend this show.PS: Management knows it gets people aroused and provides condoms ;)

Five stars for the tour -- it rekindled my childhood love of the great beyond like nothing else ever could!
