Cool place. Randomly saw manu chao eating there the last time I was there. Good service, food was okay

On a Friday it was crowded and rowdy but if thats what you are looking for. Good DJ and cheap enough drinks for the location.

Classic dancing in Santa Monica. Stay alert for Tuesday nights. Specials on drinks and really some great music (e.g. two for one!). Constantly improving, significant renovations in the past 20 years.

Came on a thursday night. Drinks were good but the dj was not. Wouldnt go back

Place is on a smaller side and can be really crowded. Otherwise a very good place and great bartenders.

The manager here was so nice, when we arrived it was during happy hour and he said to just let him know if we wanted to change the music until the DJ arrived. One of the bartenders was super nice as well, I think her name was Lauren or Laura, but she was the best! The DJ played great music! By 10 it was pretty packed.

Bar with a dance floor and a club vibe. Very cool.

Went during off hours. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful (and perhaps a little too generous), including being attentive enough to know when our group needed some water. The DJ was more than willing to accommodate our requests and pulled it off really well. All in all, it was a great experience.

This really isnt a bad place. Came here on a Thursday with a big group of people. The reason for the three stars is the DJ was just horrible. He just didnt know how to keep that rhythm and vibe going. Multiple people were complaining about him.

Great bar. Slightly expensive. 2 vodka & red bull for $22. Hip Hop music with medium sized dancefloor. Good for dancing.

Hole in the wall dance floor with a nice bar featuring mixed cocktails. Staff was friendly, music was decent, crowd was getting big, not bad for a Sunday night. (Also, more.women than men when I was there) Will try it again on a weeknight, recommended

Drinks are incredibly overpriced and place is way too small, everyone was crammed. And the music was horrible!!!

Great music. Mostly hip hop and top 40s.Theres a patio area, a bar, and a dance floor with bar. This place gets busy quickly so its best to arrive early to avoid the crowd. always easier to get drinks at the bar in the front in my opinion.

All around glorious to know there is still an ideal AMERICAN non-persona grata. Lamen terms free from any scene or the latest craze man. Just excellent no matter your budget or strict social climb or decline. Bring a friend make one or two. Note: Not a left right or other socio-stratus dine out experience.

This place has legendary history. The DJ was sweet, he knew his crowd and how to mix the vibes. Drinks are pricey but entry is free! Dope experience.

The bar is pretty good even though the dance floor is small. theonly thing i didnt like was the tables they need to be worked on because some of them are cracked through the middle but other then that the place is pretty good it can be a little pricey with the drinks but security are very responsive and the customer service is great

Drinks are okay but what I really enjoyed was the red, dark, romantic lighting. It is very aesthetically pleasing and the crowd they attract seems to be fun loving hipsters.

LOVE the bartenders and security, very friendly. Best place in the area for stiff drinks. Fun at the beginning of the night when the bar is not crowded and the dance floor has space. After a while, it becomes a hot mess...

They can easily overcharge you, like it happened to me another night. They charged me 3 times more!!!! And when I start disputing it, security threw me out like some trash bag. To say that I was shocked is like to say nothing. They were acting like criminal organization. I recommend to everybody to think 5 times before going there or at least close every transaction RIGHT AWAY.

Its a mix of Axe Body Spray and desperation and I love it. Good drink specials til fairly late. The Asian girl DJ gets the party started!

If youre looking for a low-key spot to go dance during the week, Circle Bar is the place to be. A dark divey bar feel with friendly bartenders and mostly locals, I love coming here Monday-Thursday. They always have an awesome DJ mixing everything from old school hip-hop to modern dance hits. I like going during the week because it never gets too crowded, theres no line at the door (vs the weekend), and theres no wait at the bar.

Not a great bar, prices are high, super crowded with 20 something drunks and small dance floor. That said it knows its audience and is perfect for its audience! So its not bad, its not great... It is what it is.
