Wonderful selection of artwork from a variety of artists. I walked into the Loews Hotel on Christmas Eve, and was attracted to all the artwork throughout the hotel lobby. Wandering into Flower + Hewes gallery on the main floor, Brekelle, the gallery owner, warmly greeted me and shared some stories about the artists she represents. After a friendly chat about her gallery in Malibu, Brekelle and Emily gave me a personal tour of the dozens of pieces that hang throughout the Loews Santa Monica hotel. It was an amazing experience, almost like a museum tour. I ended up taking home a (reasonably priced) photograph from a Malibu artist. Will be back to visit in the future.

I am an art enthusiast and visit galleries in every city in which I visit and I can say that there are not many galleries displaying a better selection if fine original art work . And the person I spoke with ( Brekelle) who turned out to be the owner and the most knowledgeableand enthusiastic person I have met in a art gallery in very long time she took the time to time to speak about the artist and told great stories around each beautiful work I viewed .My favorite was a large charging elephant that was prominently displayed Local artist Charlie PattonI strongly recommend visitors to beautiful Santa Monica to stop in and enjoy the art .It’s right near the pier close to all the excitement .
