I love taking my Mom to the theater and this playhouse always pushes the mold with productions that make me think. Sometimes I dont always like the play, but it gives us a lot to talk as bout. The people that put on the plays are artful and very creative with their resources. The Fiesta Melodrama is always a local Must-See. And its okay not to like everything, at least we are expanding our minds.

This community theater is AMAZING, it has so much history and they put on great shows every time.

This place is pretty damn fun ! Ive been visiting Santa Fe for twenty-five (25) years and just recently discovered the mellodrama presentation. Very much fun to be had just make sure your up to date on current events because the producers, writers and actors are and they incorporate the latest happenings into every act. Arrive early there is music and dancing in the street before the show! Have fun !!!

Just returned from a matinee performance of Fun Home. The three of us were floored by how amazing the SF Playhouse version of this show was. Ive been to many Bway shows and can say that each of the performers at SFP gave their all; its hard to imagine Broadway actors doing any better. The stage is tiny and the most is made of the space. The small group of musicians are out of sight but play beautifully. The sound and lighting are excellent. I hope you are lucky enough to see this outstanding group of people put on this play.

Huge disappointment. Very odd and boring choice of material. Actors did a good job but the script was uninspiring. Theatre was very hot. Not a bit of air on. Wasted 1.5 hours

SFP consistently produces excellent theatre with compelling scripts, great acting, and excellent production values.
