Arguably the perfect hike. Only takes an hour, and is easy enough a child could do it. The views at the top are spectacular, even if youre a Santa Fe native. Check it out, you wont be disappointed.

Sun Mountain looks down on Old Santa Fe Trail and is reached by a steep, short trail leading up from the trailhead. The climb is a popular workout for recreational hikers. At the Crest, connect to the trail system leading to St. Johns University and on to Atalaya.

Best bang for your buck hike in Santa Fe. An easy one-hour walk up and back, and a gorgeous 360 degree view from the summit.
