After getting several recommendations for Stephens, I consigned some vintage, midCentury ranch oak furniture there last year. I really appreciated how quickly they arranged pickup from out of town. It took them a year to sell it all, and I was amazed to see that they took the pickup fee out of the final sale instead of the first sale. They treated us kindly, professionally, and respectfully. Stop by this store! It’s jam-packed with the most eclectic blend of furniture and art. I will continue to recommend them highly!

Always such a great experience when going to Stephen’s Consignment Gallery. The staff was super knowledgeable and helpful, and I knew that I could trust them with an honest and fair deal when consigning some jewelry pieces I wanted to part with. It was an overall awesome experience, and I would recommend them to anyone!

I have purchased everything from a Taos Furniture dining room table to copper pots to incredible fine art here! Not only do I believe they have the very best consignment selection in Santa Fe, it is also a super fun and inviting environment. A father/son family business that can leave you entertained for hours! A MUST-GO in Santa Fe Consignment! They will go out of their way to help you find anything!!!

I came in interested in buying jewelry and saw that they consigned jewelry too. I went to get a necklace for them to look at, but the estimator was not there. I asked to look at some jewelry to buy by the man was extremely rude and basically asked me to leave because I was trying to sell jewelry, even though I wanted to look at some to buy as well. Very confusing and unfortunate experience here. They have cool stuff but the customer service was horrible. Didn’t think it would make it such a bad experience but it made it bad enough to write a one star review.

This place is absolutely fabulous! Everyone was so helpful and cheery. Would recommend a visit by anyone interested in art, antiques and jewelry! 10/10

So happy to see a business taking proper precautions during these COVID-19 days. This store seems super safe and it’s clear they are doing everything possible to make their customers comfortable leaving the house. They have hand sanitizer stations all over and very clever safety shields at the counters.They also have amazing items! Their patio section is full of super stylish pieces and their other furniture is great! I’ve had my eye on a leather sofa that I’ll probably pickup soon.They also have some of the best customer service in town. Very attentive but not hovering. Helpful without being pushy. I really appreciate the way the conduct themselves.You rock Stephen’s!

If you dont mind being treated like a convict and judged to be a bad person based on your appearance and age, then this place is for you! Great stuff but absolutely horrible service from the woman running the front.The elderly woman working the front should learn that respect goes both ways. I could judge her as being a cheapskate trying to sell used stuff for the full price as she judged me as not being able to afford the items in her store.Honey attracts flies better than vinegar. And that woman has a pure vinegar vibe and character! Her attitude and rude character makes one feel bad about themselves for absolutely no reason!This woman herself ruins the vibe and the beautiful setting the place has going for it.As for the gentleman working the front, you were a true delight. You were the only reason the store gained my business.

Had the best time at Stephen’s! I have been coming here for ages and they are always the most interesting stop in town! Every time I check in they have almost a completely different store!I have to say they have some of the best customer service around. Always greeted by every employee I come across and asked if I need help.They also do awesome estate sales.

We have furnished our Santa Fe residence with many wonderful finds from the store from which I get enjoyment every day just looking at them in my home. Equally enjoyable is dealing with Stephen, Dominick & the other knowledgeable & helpful employees at Stephen’s. I literally stop in every week or two just to say hello & wander the aisles & the back patio for new treasures. Amazing! So many great finds and the people who work here are so helpful. Tell them what you’re looking for and they’ll hep you out! I’m told it pays to come back regularly as they get new things all the time and often sell immediately. I also hear this is where a lot of Hollywood film companies shop for set pieces, and New York interior designers. I believe it!

This is such an amazing store. You can find anything from jewelry, pottery, furniture to ancient art from the Han dynasty! The staff members are also so knowledgeable and friendly! Cant wait to go back!

Stephens Consignment Gallery was an awesome experience! The staff was totally helpful in every aspect! The store offers a wide variety of furniture ranging from Vintage, to Contemporary, Modern, Old Spanish, and Victorian. Thats not all, southwest jewelry and vintage silverware sets! Paintings from various artists. It was as if I wondered into a museum and everything was for sale! This place is must if you enjoy unique artifacts and furniture....

One of my favorite places in Santa Fe! From furnishing my childs room many years ago, to refurnishing it more recently and replacing worn-out living room furniture, Stephens is my go-to place for unique, well-crafted and interesting pieces--as well as unusual gifts (those fantastic old telephones! That strange wooden gargoyle!) But it is more than that. Stephens staff is kind, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and go the extra mile to assist and inform visitors. Beyond that, on days when I simply need my creative batteries charged, a wander through Stephens aisles will do that.

This place is stocked to the brim with consignments and antiques. It can be a little overwhelming, but take some time and look around.

The owner is friendly, & very knowledgeable about everything in the store. On the occasions that he has been overly busy he still acknowledged my presence in a friendly & courteous manner. In fact everybody Ive dealt with at A Stephens Consignment Gallery is friendly. Courteous & knowledgeable if they arent 100% sure they will do extra investigating & promptly get back to you. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for furnishings &/or gifts.

I generally visit Stephens every time I get to Santa Fe. Lots of interesting stuff there. Found a couple of perfect club chairs and brought my husband back to see them. They gave us a fair price and we took them home with us. I also found a pastel painting by M. Silverwood there. They gave me a great price! Much lower than the current gallery price and I hesitated. Two days later the painting was gone. So now, when I see it and I love it, I buy it!

I have a very valuable painting which I had stored at my mothers home and prior to her death in 2014, when I requested that my painting be returned to me, my fraudulent and thief sister first took it to this gallery to be appraised, then was laughing and stated the amount this gallery had appraised it at. I knew that to be ridiculous, but just the same she wouldnt return it until I threatened to file a suit in court to get it back. I havent had any communication with her until yesterday, when from out of the blue she declared having removed something from my painting and that I could go and pick it up at this gallery. When I called there earlier to get information, the rude hag who answered stated they couldnt get involved in legal issues, then hung the phone up on me and wouldnt answer when I called back. There wasnt any legal matter or issues until they believed themselves to be so smart and refused to answer my question. Therefore they can answer to the judge after I file a law suit against them, and its going to also include all attorney and court cost fees.

This is a wonderful store with many many treasures for all kinds of tastes. I have been shopping her for furniture, art, and native American pieces for over 10 years. The staff is very very knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. The prices are great......go go go.

There is a good reason Stephens has been around for 30+ years. The Santa Fe staple for fine antiques, art, and furniture is hands down the best place to find what ever you need for any occasion.While Im only in town a few times a year, Im amazed at their ever changing inventory and the grade A customer service. Stephen himself is not only fair, but kind and understanding. Regardless of my obscure requests, hes always able to help me find something to suit my needs.Not only do they have the coolest (not to mention HUGE) store in town, but they also do estate sales! If you are lucky enough to catch one be sure you will be waking out with something totally awesome.What ever you are looking for, be sure to check them out!

What a gem of a place! I was passing through Santa Fe when I stumbled into Stephens. The owner (his name is...Stephen) was very knowledgeable and so warm and friendly. I found the prices to be fair. We had something in common...we both grew up in the same area of Massachusetts. Had a few chuckles as we reminisced about places we both knew back home. Small world. If I lived in the area, I would have bought several items, as they were very unique.

Fabulous, enjoyed how attentive staff was! I also was blown away with all the unique items in the shop.

I have never left a negative review ever till now. These people are flat terrible. Rude would be an understatement. If this how they treat people, imagine the ethics they must have, or not have... disappointing.

After my father passed away my family called Stephen to set up an Estate Sale. He was very professional about the whole thing. His crew set up the tables for display, priced all the items, marketed the sale and ran the sale with no problems. He sold many of the items and took unsold items to his store for consignment. We not only made money but had no hassle with Stephens’ help. I highly recommend his Estate Sale service. He was a pleasure to work with.
