Walked over the bridge well worth doing to see the depth of it

We look forward to visiting this gallery every time that we are in Santa Fe. In my opinion, they have one of the best collection of artist in town! My husband and I have purchased from five other galleries in town, but none more from than Meyer Gallery. Johnny and Jordan provide a casual, yet professional experience as soon as you walk in. These guys and the staff that they have put together make you feel like friends of theirs. Upon delivery from the Gallery, the art handler seems to go over board to make sure that the piece arrives without incident. This is a class act of a fine art gallery.

Creative bronze figures and good variett

I visit Santa Fe a couple times a year and I love how welcome I feel walking into the gallery. Jonathan remembered me and our conversation from my last visit, so we just picked up where we left off talking about my favorite artist who shows there. There is so much enthusiasm about the work and no pressure to buy. BTW they know Im an artist and Im treated with the same interest and care as a collector.

We visited Meyer Gallery on Canyon Road in July of 2016. I have to say that my husband and I are into traditional puebloan pottery and baskets, so this is not really the type of art we collect. However this was really the best experience of our day. The gallery worker was so incredibly friendly and took a great deal of time to explain about the paintings and bronzes to our 8 year old daughter. It was really a magical experience and I think he really helped to inspire an art lover. The gallery is very nice, but the staff are truly exceptional. While we did not purchase anything, I really wanted to shout out to their inclusiveness and friendliness. I am pretty sure every other gallery that day pretty much ignored our kids instead of seeing them as future art lovers and even clients. Thank you Meyer Gallery.

Dealing with Meyer East has been one of the most horrendous nightmare in my professional life as an art dealer. Here are some facts:1. The gallerys standard commission on consignment is 40% - 50%. Twice the market rate.2. The gallery would hold your consigned artwork for a fee, in my case 15% of retail, to be paid to the gallery if you wish to withdraw it from the market.3. The gallery will resort to very low tactics while claiming theyre following standard practice in the business, and theyre the leading authority certain artists works.High rhetorics and long history notwithstanding, I strongly recommend to have your attorney go over any of their standard contracts in advance for your own protection.

These guys bad mouth the other galleries. I have heard them say that everything east of them on Canyon Road is junk. For that reason, I would not buy anything there even if I liked their stuff
