My favorite vampiric like church. Actually, its the only one i know of personally. Has a warm inviting feel with all the prayer candles glowing yet a nice creepy dark vibe with the statues and centuries old woodwork.

This is a beautiful park space. Theres a fountain in the middle, concrete areas and lots of room for setting up yard games or picnics. We came during a food truck party and were very impressed with the space :)

The Mission Plaza was the site of the original mission, now commemorated in a 1/3 scale modern replica, has numerous historic structures nearby and is still the site of the oldest wooden house in town, located on the west side of the Plaza, second house North of Mission Street. The entire neighborhood has been designated as a Historic District on the U.S. National Register; when it was so designated in 1975, it was the largest such District in the U.S.

For me, this Mission Plaza is about the annual Japanese Cultural Festival here. Always liked going to it with my friends and keeping up with my Japanese culture ambassador buddies in Santa Cruz, that means anybody i know here who promotes the arts or food. Volunteered with them and would do it again if Im in the area.
